Conflicts between corporations and local communities in mining industries become phenomenal after political reformation took place in 1998. Based on an analytical framework, which are developed from previous field research, the pattern of corporate-local community conflicts can be formulated into three different dimensions, those are dynamics of conflict, causes of conflict and state's roles.
