"ABSTRAKJurnal ini membahas bagaimana pengaruh lingkungan sosial, mempengaruhi sikap dan tingkah laku individu sehingga melakukan aksi bullying. Penulis menggunakan kasus kekerasan yang terjadi di SD Trisula Bukittinggi dan SD Percontohan Sumatra Utara. Dua kasus tersebut memiliki kesamaan yaitu: dilakukan secara berkelompok, serta dipengaruhi oleh media dan kelompok pertemanan. Penulis mengkaji dua kasus tersebut dengan Social Influence Theory¸ yang menghasilkan temuan: (1) Lingkungan sosial dapat mempengaruhi individu dalam dua tingkatan, secara keseluruhan (acceptance) atau hanya sebagian (compliance). (2) Dalam kasus ini, individu yang berada dalam tingkatan compliance dilakukan atas obedience atas social power dengan tipe coercive power. (3) Pola asuh yang diterapkan orangtua mempengaruhi sifat anak. (4) Dampak conformity yaitu menciptakan norma baru. (5) Polarisasi kelompok meningkatkan sifat agresif pelaku.

ABSTRACTThis journal discusses the influence of the social environment such as influence the attitudes and behavior of individuals that commit acts of bullying. The Case I used occurred at the SD Trisula in Bukittinggi and SD Percontohan North Sumatra. Two of these cases have in common namely done in groups, and are influenced by the media and groups community. I reviewed those two cases based on the Social Influence Theory, which resulted in 5 findings: (1) the social environment can affect individuals in two levels, overall (acceptance) or only partially (compliance). (2) In this case, individuals who are in the top level of compliance is done on social obedience coercive power with the type of power. (3) Parenting that is applied affects the nature of the child. (4) The impact of conformity that is creating a new norm. (5) Polarization community has increased the executants by aggressively."
