"Tandan kosong kelapa sawit merupakan limbah lignoselulosa dari pabrik kelapa sawit. Ini merupakan sumber potensial dari xilosa sebagai bahan baku produksi xilitol yang digunakan sebagai pemanis pengganti gula. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan kondisi optimum untuk memproduksi xilosa yang optimal. Kadar xilosa dianalisis menggunakan KCKT dengan menggunakan kolom LC-NH2 (125mm x 4mm, 5µm), fase gerak asetonitril-air (90:10) dengan laju alir 1,0mL/menit dideteksi dengan detektor indeks bias. Kondisi optimum untuk hidrolisis tandan kosong kelapa sawit yang diperoleh dari response surface methodology adalah 127,99oC selama 71 menit dengan konsentrasi asam oksalat 4,20% menghasilkan yield xilosa sebesar 7,408%.

Oil palm empty fruit bunch fiber is a lignocellulosic waste from palm oil mills. It is a potential source of xylose which can be used as a raw material for production of xylitol, it is used as a sweetener instead of sugar. The purpose of this study is to obtain the optimum conditions for production xylose. Xylose levels were analyzed using HPLC with LC-NH2 column (125mm x 4mm, 5μm), mobile phase acetonitrile-water (90:10) and flow rate of 1.0 mL/min was detected with RI-detector. Optimum conditions for hydrolysis of oil palm empty fruit bunches fiber obtained from RSM is 127,99oC, 71 minutes, 4,20% oxalic acid produced xylose yield of 7.408%."

Oleh karena itu, Universitas Indonesia bekerja sama dengan PT. SamMarie Tramedifa melaksanakan PKPA, pada tanggal 17 Juni - 12 Juli dan 29 Juli - 16 Agustus 2013.

Therefore, the University of Indonesia in cooperation with PT. SamMarie Tramedifa implement PKPA, on June 17th-July 12th, 2013 and July 29th to August 16th, 2013."

Kementerian Kesehatan melalui Direktorat Jenderal Bina Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan memiliki sasaran meningkatnya sediaan farmasi dan alat kesehatan yang memenuhi standar dan terjangkau oleh masyarakat. Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) dilakukan pada 15 Juli - 26 Juli 2013 di Direktorat Jenderal Bina Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan terutama di Direktorat Bina Produksi dan Distribusi Kefarmasian agar calon apoteker memperoleh gambaran tentang peran dan tugas apoteker mengenai pelayanan kefarmasian yang terkait dengan izin dan standar produksi dan distribusi.

The Strategic Plan of Ministry of Health in 2010 - 2014 is mandating Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices programs to improve the availability, equity, and affordability of medicines and medical devices as well as to ensure the safety or efficacy, usefulness, and quality of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and food. The Ministry of Health through the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices has targeted to increase pharmaceutical preparations and health tools that meet the standards and are affordable. Pharmacists Internship Program (PIP) was conducted on July 16th to July 26th, 2013 at the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices, especially at the Directorate of Public Medicines and Health Products, for pharmacist to gain an overview of the role and duties of pharmacists about pharmacy services related to authorization and standard of production and distribution."

"Apotek adalah tempat dilakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian dan penyaluran sediaan farmasi serta perbekalan kesehatan lainnya kepada masyarakat. Apotek menjadi salah satu sarana pelayanan kesehatan untuk mewujudkan tercapainya derajat kesehatan yang optimal bagi masyarakat. Saat ini, pelayanan kefarmasian yang dilakukan dalam Apotek telah mengalami pergeseran orientasi dari obat ke pasien yang mengacu kepada Pharmaceutical Care. Sebagai konsekuensi nya, Apoteker dituntut meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan perilaku agar dapat melaksanakan interaksi langsung baik kepada pasien maupun kepada tenaga kesehatan lain. Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) dilakukan pada 16 September - 25 Oktober 2013 di Apotek Mediko Farma guna memberikan perbekalan bagi para calon Apoteker untuk menerapkan ilmu yang telah dipelajari selama masa kuliah secara praktis dan langsung kepada pasien di Apotek. Kegiatan PKPA tersebut memberikan pengetahuan langsung mengenai peran dan fungsi Apoteker dalam pelayanan kefarmasian dan pengelolaan Apotek.

Pharmacy is a place where do pharmacy work and distribution of pharmaceutical and other medical supplies to the public. Pharmacy became one of health care facility to realize the achievement of optimal health status for the community. Currently, pharmaceutical services are performed in the pharmacy has undergone a shift in the orientation of the drug to patients who are referred to the Pharmaceutical Care. As a consequence, Pharmacist required to increase the knowledge, skills, and behaviors in order to carry out the direct interaction to patients either to other health professionals. Pharmacists Internship Program (PIP) conducted on September 16th to October 25th, 2013 at the Mediko Farma Pharmacy to provide supplies for prospective pharmacists to apply the knowledge they have learned during the course in a practical and direct to patients in pharmacies. The PIP activities provide direct knowledge of the role and functions of pharmacists in pharmaceutical care and pharmacy management."
