"ABSTRAKPemilihan kata pada penulisan lirik lagu anak tentunya berbeda dengan penulisan lirik lagu untuk kalangan dewasa. Penelitian ini membandingkan gaya bahasa yang terkandung pada dua lagu anak dan lagu dewasa berbahasa Belanda dengan tema lagu yang sama. Langkah-langkah penelitian yang dilakukan adalah pencarian lagu anak dan dewasa berbahasa Belanda, analisis gaya bahasa yang terkandung, pembandingan gaya bahasa lalu ditarik kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori gaya bahasa. Dari teori tersebut ditelaah gaya bahasa yang terkandung dalam setiap baris lagu lalu dibandingkan jenis gaya bahasa yang paling sering muncul pada kedua jenis lagu. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa gaya bahasa yang paling banyak muncul pada lagu anak adalah repetisi, berupa pengulangan kata, frasa, dan struktur kalimat, serta diungkapkan secara eksplisit sehingga lebih mudah diingat dan dipahami. Pada penulisan lagu dewasa muncul gaya bahasa yang lebih beragam dengan banyak makna tersirat.

ABSTRACT The selection of words in the writing of the lyrics of children rsquo s songs is certainly different from the writing of song lyrics for adults. This research compares the figures of speech that contain in the Dutch children rsquo s songs and the Dutch adult songs with the same theme. The steps of the method that is used are the searching for Dutch children rsquo s songs and adult songs, the analysis of the containing figures of speech, the comparison of the figures of speech and the last is the conclusions taking. This research uses the theory of the figure of speech. Based on the theory the figures of speech are examined in each line of the songs then compared the figures of speech that appears often on both types os songs.This research reveals that the figure of speech that appears often in the children rsquo s songs is repetition, in the form of repetition of the words, phrases, and sentences structure, and they are expressed explicitly so that is easier to remember and understand. In the writing of adults rsquo songs appears more figures of speech with many implicit meanings."
