"Skripsi ini membahas tentang sistem pengelolaan air waterleiding pada masa kolonial awal abad 20 di Batavia. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui alur produksi, distribusi, dan konsumsi air bersih beserta dampak sosial dan ekonomi sistem tersebut pada tatanan sosial masyarakat Batavia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan arkeologi industri yang mengutamakan hubungan keruangan antar data. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan cara kerja sistem waterleiding. Penelitian ini juga memberikan hasil bahwa sistem waterleiding memberikan nilai ekonomi pada air serta memunculkan kelas-kelas sosial di Batavia.

This undergraduate thesis discusses waterleiding systems in the colonial era in the early 20th century Batavia. Aims to determine the flow of production, distribution, and consumption of clean water as well as the social and economic impact of the system on the social order Batavia society. This study uses the approach that prioritizes industrial archeology spatial relations between data. The results of the study explains how the system works waterleiding. This study also gives the result that the system waterleiding economic value on water and raise the social classes in Batavia."

"Sosialisasi dan potensi mobilitas sosial di Pertamina Soccer School (PSS). Adanya peran korporasi PT Pertamina Persero dalam ranah pembinaan pesepak bola muda dengan program CSR adalah fenomena baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan berupa wawancara dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada ciri khas dari sekolah sepak bola yang dikelola oleh korporasi yakni tujuh nilai karakter bangsa yang disosialisasikan di PSS, meliputi nilai tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, kejujuran, religi, persahabatan, menghargai prestasi, dan kepedulian lingkungan. Selective exposure merupakan tahapan proses sosialisasi yang dominan di PSS, di mana anak hanya diberikan penjelasan untuk bersikap dan berperilaku seperti yang diharapkan oleh agen sosialisasi. Dalam proses internalisasi nilai, anak cenderung bersikap menerima apa adanya (taken for granted) nilai dan norma yang disosialisasikan. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa dengan mekanisme rekrutmen yang objektif PSS berpotensi sebagai sarana mobilitas sosial vertikal. Pada level makro, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PSS merupakan wujud konkret dari model pembangunan society centered yang dijalankan oleh program CSR PT Pertamina Persero.

This studi discusses about the socialization process, the role of socialization agents, and the potential for social mobility in Pertamina Soccer School. This study used qualitative method, interview technique, and observation. The role of PT Pertamina Persero corporate in the field of youth soccer development by corporate social responsibility is the new phenomenon. The result of research showed that there are characteristic from soccer school that managed by corporate, namely responsibility, discipline, honest, religious, friendly, respect for achievement, and caring environment. Selective exposure is the dominant stage of the socialization process in Pertamina Soccer School which children are given only explanation for the act and behave as expected by the agents of socialization. In the process of internalization, children tend to be accept with taken for granted about values and norms are socialized. In addition, the result of research that the objective of mechanism recruitment can be as means of vertical social mobility. At the macro level, the result of research showed that Pertamina Soccer School is the real form of the model development based on society centered that from the social responsibility program of PT Pertamina Persero."

"Indonesia sebagai negara multikultural terintegrasi dalam semboyan Bhineka Tunggal Ika sebagai simbol persatuan. Pada kenyataannya masih ada etnis yang mengalami diskriminasi yaitu etnis Cina, hingga sekarang kitapun masih bisa melihat adanya sentimen yang diarahkan kepada mereka. Pemisahan etnis tertentu akan mengganggu ketahanan nasional. New Museum mengubah paradigma museum dari tempat pameran masa lalu menjadi tempat pendidikan dan media komunikasi untuk kepentingan masa kini dan masa depan. Etnis Cina harus direpresentasikan di museum sebagai cara untuk merangkul dan sebagai simbol pengakuan negara terhadap minoritas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana museum nasional Indonesia mengakomodir etnis Cina dan kendala apa yang dihadapi serta cara untuk mengatasinya. Dan juga menunjukkan sejauh mana pemerintah menggunakan museum sebagai sarana pembentuk integrasi nasional. Penelitian menunjukkan etnis Cina belum direpresentasikan karena Museum Nasional Indonesia masih terjebak dalam konsep traditional museum yang berfokus koleksi dan masa lalu.

Indonesia as a multicultural country is integrated in the motto of Bhinneka Tungga Ika or Unity in Diversity as a symbol of unity. But now adays, there are still ethnic groups that discriminated like Chinese Ethnic as we can still see the sentiment pointed to them. The Segregation of certain ethnic will disrupt national resilience. New Museum transforms the paradigm of the museum from the place of the past exhibition into a place of education and communication media for the benefit of both present and the future. Chinese Ethnic must be represented in museums as a way to embrace and symbolize state recognition of minorities. This research aims to see the extent to which the Museum Nasional Indonesia accommodates the Chinese and what obstacles are faced and ways to overcome them. And also shows the extent to which the government uses museum as a means of forming national integration. This research shows that Chinese minority has not been represented because Museum Nasional Indonesia are still trapped in traditional museum concepts."
