Melalui artikel ini penulis akan menganalisis bagaimana Guilllaume Apollinaire menyampaikan rasa cintanya kepada MarieLaurencine dengan menggunakan simbol-simbol dalam puisi Le Pont Mirabeau. Cinta penyair kepada MarieLaurencine disimbolisasikan dengan pemilihan diksi, tipografi, dan rima yang terdapat pada puisi ini. Penyair ingin menyampaikan bahwa cintanya kepada sang kekasih bersifat kokoh, abadi, dan istimewa.
