ABSTRACT This research present the message of ten short stories Tandure Wis Sumilir by J.F.X Hoery. The aim of this research is to find out how the message exist in every short story and to find out the moral value in the message. This research use descriptive analytical method. The theory which is used is the Burhan Nurgiyantoro’s structural theory. The result of this reseacrh to show a support of theme, setting, figure and character, point of view an important role and attached each building the message and in every message"
