ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerimaan wanita muda Indonesia terhadap
seks pranikah dan kehamilan remaja. Penulis menggunakan film berjudul "Love Rosie"
sebagai studi kasus, untuk melihat bagaimana mereka memandang pesan melalui konsep
encoding - decoding. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara
mendalam dengan tiga responden yang belajar di luar negeri dengan berbagai latar
belakang, yang telah menyaksikan film sebelum wawancara. Studi ini menemukan bahwa
orang yang belajar di negara barat mereka cenderung bernegosiasi dalam mempersepsikan
masalah dan memiliki pemikiran yang terbuka terhadap isu-isu sensitif.;
ABSTRACT This study aims to explore Indonesian young women reception towards premarital sex andteen pregnancy. The writer used the movie called ?Love Rosie? as the study case, to examinehow they perceive the message through encoding-decoding concept.
