"Menjadi perusahaan kelas dunia di bidang rancang bangun dan perekayasaan industri yang terintegrasi serta investasi yang kompetitif merupakan visi PT. Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) dengan cara memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan dari seluruh dunia. Salah satu kebutuhan pelanggan adalah Rekind harus mampu memanfaatkan Sistem Informasi (SI) untuk mendukung proses bisnisnya, sehingga Rekind membutuhkan IT Masterplan. IT Masterplan sudah ada tetapi sudah usang, sehingga perlu dibuat baru yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan bisnis perusahaan saat ini. Dibutuhkan metodologi yang lengkap, yang dapat menjawab kebutuhan rekind. Be Vissta Planning merupakan metodologi yang menggabungkan beberapa metodologi, dengan tidak mengurangi kelebihan dan urutan logisnya, dengan penambahan modul untuk menggali manfaat bisnis SI dalam menentukan prioritisasi serta rencana implementasi. Tetapi sebelumnya perlu dilakukan penyempurnaan metodologi dengan beberapa perbaikan pada sub-fase kegiatan, yaitu merevisi Information Economics (IE) dalam mengidentifikasi manfaat bisnis SI/TI dengan Tabel Manfaat Bisnis SI/TI Generik, lalu memvalidasi hubungan sebab-akibatnya dengan system dynamics(SD), setelah itu menguji metodologi dengan pembuatan renstra SI Rekind. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 2 metode pendekatan untuk mengukur nilai manfaat bisnis untuk setiap proyek SI.

Rekayasa Industri (Rekind)’s vision by meeting the needs of clients from all over the world. One of the client requirements is to be able to utilize Information Systems (IS) to support business processes, thus requiring IT Masterplan. IT Masterplan already exists but it’s outdated, so it needs to be made in accordance with the new company's business needs today. It takes a complete methodology, which can address the Rekind’s needs. Be Vissta Planning is an ISSP Methodology that combines some of the methodology by not reducing advantages and logical sequence with the addition of modules to explore the business value of IS in determining the prioritization and implementation plan. But before that, it is necessary to improve the methodology with some improvement in the sub-phase activities that is improving Information Economics (IE) framework with Generic IS/IT Business Value in determining the IS business values, then validated with the System Dynamics (SD), after that testing the improved methodology with making IS Strategic Planning in Rekind. This research produce 2 methods in quantifiying business value of each IS Project."
