"Manajemen persediaan material proses yang bersifat dependent demand di PT. X masih dilakukan secara intuitif dan belum memanfaatkan sistem Material Requirement Planning (MRP), sehingga mengakibatkan perencanaan kebutuhan material kurang akurat dan penggunaan biaya persediaan tidak efisien. Keadaan ini mendorong perusahaan untuk mengimplementasikan sistem MRP. Salah satu input penting dari sistem MRP adalah teknik penentuan ukuran lot pengadaan material (lot sizing). Teknik lot sizing y ang tepat diperlukan untuk meminimalkan biaya persediaan yang dikeluarkan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis perbandingan performa terhadap beberapa teknik lot sizing yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh teknikyang tepat digunakan untuk masing-masing material.
PA nalisis klasifikasi ABC dilakukan untuk menentukan material yang akan menjadifokus penelitian, kemudian dihitung biaya persediaan dan tingkat variasi pengkonsumsian material, Hasil perhitungan tersebut digunakan sebagai masukan dalam melakukan uji coba terhadap tiap-tiap teknik lot sizing, yaitu Lot For Lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Period Order Quantity (POQ), Fixed Period Requirement (FPR), Part-Period Balancing (PPB), Least Unit Cost (LUC), dan Silver-Meal algorithm (SM). Parameter yang digunakan untuk menilai performa teknik lot sizing adalah hasil optimal dari Wagner-Within algorithm (WW), Dari hasil analisis perbandingan performa diperoleh teknik lot sizing yang paling tepat digunakan untuk masing-masing material yang menjadifokus dalam penelitian ini.

Material planning for process material at PT. X is still done in intuitive way and is not based on MRP system. It causes less in material planning accuracy and ineffective inventory cost. This condition drives the company to start to implement MRP system. One significant input of MRP system is lot sizing technique. The suitable lot sizing technique is needed for minimizing inventory cost. This research presents performance comparison analysis among several lot sizing techniques for getting the most suitable technique for each material.
ABC classification analysis is done to determine research focused materials. Then, the inventory cost and variation level of material consumption are calculated. Its results would be the input of performance assessment of lot sizing techniques. The techniques are Lot For Lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Period Order Quantity (POQ), Fixed Period Requirement (FPR), Part-Period Balancing (PPB), Least Unit Cost (LUC), and Silver-Meal algorithm (SM). As the parameter, optimal result of Wagner-Within algorithm (WW) is used to examine those techniques performance. This performance comparison analysis results in the most suitable technique for each analyzed material.

"Salah satu alternatif terobosan untuk mengatasi masalah sampah perkotaan adalah suatu model pengolahan sampah dlm suatu konsep zero waste sampah perkotaan.Dlm mempersiapkan pengadaan peralatan dan material utk sistem pengolahan sampah ini dibuat suatu perencanaan tata letak yg baik dengan mempertimbangkan masuka-masukan yg tept.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah terbentuknya rancangan tata letak sistem pengolaha sampah kapasitas 24 mdengan jenis pengolahan pengkomposan sampah organik di kelurahan Tebet Barat,Jakarta Selatan. Disamping itu juga ingin diketahui kebutuhan operator dlm sistem , disebabkan oleh adanya pembatasan jumlah operator digunakan yaitu sebanyak lima orang. Proses perancangan tata letak dilakukan secara bertahap yaitu perancangan aliran material, perhitungan keburuhan mesin, analisis hubungan keterkaitan antar kegiatan,perhitungan kebutuhan area, alokasi area dan penyusunan tataletak.Perancangan tata etak dilakukan dengan dengan pola aliran U, dan jenis jenis tataletak product layout.
Dari analisa perbandingan simulasi sistem alternatif dengan variasi jumalh resources, diketahui bahwa kebutuhan operatorberdasarkan utilitas operator yg baik adalah lima resources,dimana sistem tdk overload dan dapat berjalan dengan baik."

"The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the ergonomics aspects of the first prototype of a folding bike designed by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Indonesia (DME UI) in a virtual environment. Posture Evaluation Index (PEI) is used as an analysis approach that integrates the results of three methods: Low Back Analysis (LBA), Ovako Working Posture Analysis System (OWAS), and Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA). The determine the optimal design configuration of a folding bicycle based from an ergonomics perspective. For male and female riders, the optimal configuration is obtained when the height of the handlebar is 32 cm and the height of the saddle is 83 cm. This study proved that a virtual environment could strengthen the ergonomics evaluation, especially in posture condition exploration."

"Operators, doing repetitive action tasks in a cycle, are very susceptible in s:&ring musculoskeletal disorder. Work Related Musculoskeletal Disorder is a Pain in muscle and tendon skeletal which felt by people whether it is a .symptom or serious condition. When all the element and the method of the repetitive action tasks in work system fit with ergonomic standard musculoskeletal disorders will be reduced and all the task can be performed effectively and efficient. Detergent packaging line in PT X consist of 7 work stations do not have any ergonomic standard of work, proven by the packers suffered musculoskeletal disorder. Company would like to identify the root of problem and solve it by using the right method appropriate to the repetitive action job. OCRA (occupotional Repetitive Action) method might be appropriate for reducing risk of ergonomics and musculoskeletal disorder at this repetitive action task line. This method found by Occhipinti and Colombini is a quantitative method to identify and reducing risk at repetitive action task specifically for upper limb. From identifying the previous condition. OCRA indexes are resulted 3. 77 for right upper limb (risk) and 3.32 for left upper limb (Tow risk). Then, by reducing the technical action and eliminating the awkward postures, the OCRA indexes repeatedly count. The result is 0. 72 for both upper limbs."

"Six Sigma is a quality target of -3,4 Defect Per Million Opportunities- that allows quality characteristic being measured by perspective of total? defects compare to the total' opportunities of defect to occur. Six Sigma quality improvement methodology is coiled Six Sigma Improvement Framework which consist of 5 phases DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control. Sir Sigma focused on customer and oriented to the process which affect the final quality characteristic required on a product. This research analyzed the implementation of Six Sigma in a garment company PT X to reduced the number of appearance defect, and the high number of rework for the clothes product. Quantitative and qualitative data were processed by means of some Six Sigma tools for each phase ofDMA1C_ This research focused on the product with style number 148 824 which has I I critical quality characteristic (CTQ). Metric value acquired : defect per unit (DPDQ = Q603974, and the sigma value = 3, 095. Throughput yield = 39, 1026%."
