"Penyakit Covid-19 atau SARS CoV-2 menyebabkan kejadian darurat kesehatan secara global. Gejala yang sering ditemukan kepada pasien Covid-19 diantaranya hipoksemia, dimana pada pasien tidak mengalami sesak dan bisa beraktivitas seperti biasa. Salah satu penanganan non farmakologi adalah dengan pengaturan posisi pasien. Adapun posisi yang dapat direkomendasikan adalah posisi tripod. Posisi ini dapat meningkatkan aktifitas otot-otot utama pernapasan yang dapat memperbesar volume rongga dada sehingga paru dapat mengembang maksimal untuk meningkatkan proses difusi dan perfusi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas posisi tripod dalam meningkatkan saturasi oksigen pada pasien Covid-19. Design penelitian ini menggunakan one group pre and post test design untuk melihat efektifitas satu perlakuan suatu tindakan, dengan responden sebanyak 67 dengan menggunakan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada analisa bivariat didapatkan perbedaan nilai saturasi oksigen yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan tindakan posisi tripod (p 0,000; ɑ 0,05). Analisa multivariat menunjukkan bahwa menunjukkan kemungkinan terjadinya saturasi oksigen normal pada terapi oksigen dengan menggunakan nasal kanul sebesar 25,16 kali lebih besar dibandingkan terapi oksigen menggunakan NRM setelah dikontrol dengan usia. Posisi tripod merupakan salah satu alternatif terapi non farmakologi untuk meningkatkan saturasi oksigen pada pasien Covid-19 yang mengalami desaturasi atau hipoksemia

Covid-19 disease or SARS CoV-2 causes a global health emergency. Symptoms that are often found in Covid-19 patients include hypoxemia, where the patient does not experience tightness and can carry out activities as usual. One of the non-pharmacological treatments is by adjusting the patient's position. The position that can be recommended is the tripod position. This position can increase the activity of the main muscles of breathing which can increase the volume of the chest cavity so that the lungs can expand optimally to improve the process of diffusion and perfusion. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the tripod position in increasing oxygen saturation in Covid-19 patients. The design of this study used one group pre and post test design to see the effectiveness of one treatment of an action, with 67 respondents using observation sheets. The results showed that in the bivariate analysis, a significant difference in oxygen saturation values was obtained between before and after the tripod position action (p 0.000; ɑ 0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that the probability of normal oxygen saturation in oxygen therapy using nasal cannula was 25.16 times greater than oxygen therapy using NRM after being controlled with age. "Salah satu reaksi inflamasi yang ditimbulkan Mycobacterium tuberculosis yang masuk ke dalam alveoli adalah sekresi lendir yang berlebihan pada saluran napas. Penanganan dalam menurunkan produksi sputum pada pasien TBC dapat diberikan secara non farmakologi sebagai terapi pelengkap atau disebut juga terapi komplementer yaitu penggunaan minyak essensial untuk aromaterapi adalah Eucalyptus (minyak kayu putih). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efek aromaterapi Eucalyptus dalam menurunkan produksi sputum pada pasien paru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan quasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design dengan jumlah 20 sampel dengan teknik non probability sampling dengan metode consecutive sampling. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji t-dependen yang bertujuan mengetahui adanya pengaruh intervensi aromaterapi Eucalyptus sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi untuk menurunkan produksi sputum pada pasien tuberkulosis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan signifikan jumlah produksi sputum antara sebelum intervensi, sesudah intervensi hari pertama, kedua dan ketiga dengan nilai p value 0,000. Perawat dapat memberikan aromatherapy Eucalyptus untuk menurunkan produksi sputum pada pasien TBC
