"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memajukan kerangka kerja konseptual yang menjelaskan pengaruh country of origin image pada purchase intention konsumen dengan peran moderasi consumer ethnocentrism yang secara eksplisit dimodelkan dan diuraikan. Consumer ethnocentrism (CE) diuji sebagai faktor moderasi antara country of origin image dan perceived brand prestige, dan antara country of origin image dan perceived product quality, dan antara country of origin image dan purchase intention. Model yang diusulkan memberikan kesaksian tentang hasil penelitian kuantitatif dalam survei yang dilakukan dengan metode convenience sampling yang menargetkan konsumen Generasi Y yang telah menggunakan produk perawatan kulit wajah di Indonesia, yaitu 303 responden. Survey online menggunakan Google Form dengan cara snowball melalui chat Whatsapp. Analisis data digunakan Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif country of origin image terhadap perceived brand prestige, perceived product quality, dan purchase intention konsumen. penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa perceived product quality berpengaruh signifikan terhadap purchase intention. Selain itu, consumer ethnocentrism mengurangi hubungan positif antara country of origin image dan perceivd product quality serta mengurangi perceived brand prestige. Temuan penelitian ini juga menyiratkan bahwa pemasar harus membangun strategi pemasaran yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan purchase intention konsumen Indonesia

This research aims to advance a conceptual framework that illuminates the impact of country of origin image on consumer’s purchase intention with moderating roles of consumer ethnocentrism which is explicitly modelled and decomposed. Consumer ethnocentrism (CE) was tested as a moderating factor between country of origin image and perceived brand prestige and between country of origin image and perceived product quality. The proposed model testified drawing on the results of quantitative research in a survey conducted on a convenience sample targeting Generation Y consumers who have used facial skin care products in Indonesia, that is 202 respondents. An online survey using Google Form is conducted with snowball manner via Whatsapp chat. Data was analyzed by using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results indicated that there was a positive impact of country of origin image on perceived brand prestige, perceived product quality and consumers’ purchase intention. Moreover, this study also found that perceived product quality has significant effect on purchase intention. Furthermore, consumer ethnocentrism has no moderating effect on purchase intention. The findings also implied that marketers should build a suitable marketing strategy to increase consumers’ purchase intentions"

"Penelitian ini penting dilakukan terhadap produk dari negara asal tertentu di dalam memahami perilaku konsumen dan gambaran produknya diterima dengan baik di negara tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh country of origin terhadap consumer purchase intention melalui brand image dan brand evaluation. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode survei pada target konsumen skincare Laneige di Jakarta. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 160. Cronbach’s alpha dan confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) digunakan untuk menilai reliabilitas serta validitas. Structur Equation Model (SEM) digunakan dalam pengujian Hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa country of origin memiliki pengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap purchase intention. Brand image memiliki pengaruh full mediation sebagai variabel mediator sedangkan brand evaluation memiliki pengaruh no mediation sebagai variabel mediator.

The study is necessary to employ towards a product from a particular country in understanding consumer behavior and market respon in the entry country. This research was conducted because in the intense global competition, producers need to understand the factors that cause purchase intention so that their products can be accepted by the public. This study uses a quantitative approach to survey methods on Laneige skincare target consumers in Jakarta. The sample in this study amounted to 160.Cronbach's alpha and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were used to assess reliability and validity. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) is used in hypothesis testing. The results showed that country of origin has a positive but insignificant effect on purchase intention. Brand image has a full mediation effect as a mediator variable, while brand evaluation has no mediation effect as a mediator variable."

"ABSTRAK Tesis ini membahas mengenai perbandingan pengaruh dari consumer ethnocentrism dan cosmopolitanism terhadap perceived quality serta dampaknya terhadap purchase intention pada konsumen kosmetik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan dan menganalisis pengaruh consumer ethnocentrism dan cosmopolitanism terhadap perceived quality dan dampaknya terhadap purchase intention. Variabel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel independen yaitu consumer ethnocentrism dan cosmopolitanism sedangkan perceived quality dan purchase intention adalah variabel dependen. Sementara itu, perceived quality dapat menjadi variabel mediasi. Semua variabel ini adalah variabel konstruk. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dengan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode SEM berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS). Software PLS pada penelitian ini menggunakan software SMARTPLS versi 2.0 M3. Data pada penelitian ini diambil melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 200 responden yang merupakan pengguna kosmetik di Jakarta dan sekitarnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa consumer ethnocentrism dan cosmopolitanism memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perceived quality dan purchase intention dari para pengguna produk kosmetik.

ABSTRACT
This thesis discusses the comparative influence of consumer ethnocentrism and cosmopolitanism to perceived quality and their impact on purchase intention on cosmetic consumer in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the influence of consumer ethnocentrism and cosmopolitanism on perceived quality and its impact on purchase intention. Variables in this research consist of independent variables which are consumer ethnocentrism and cosmopolitanism whereas perceived quality and purchase intention are dependent variables. Meanwhile, perceived quality can be a mediating variable. All of these variables are construct variables. Data used in this research is primary data with purposive sampling method. This research is quantitative research with descriptive design. The research method used SEM method based on Partial Least Square (PLS). PLS software in this research using SMARTPLS software version 2.0 M3. The data in this study was taken through a questionnaire distributed to 200 respondents who are cosmetic users in Greater Jakarta. The results showed that consumer ethnocentrism and cosmopolitanism have a significant influence on perceived quality and purchase intention of users of cosmetic products.

"Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis serta mengetahui pengaruh Negara Asal (Country of Origin) terhadap minat beli (Purchase Intention) konsumen melalui persepsi kualitas (Perceived Quality). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 200 responden yang merupakan orang yang mengetahui produk jam tangan merek Swatch asal negara Switzerland. Teknik penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan non-probability sampling serta penentuan sampel berdasarkan teknik purposive. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner, dianalisis menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dan diolah menggunakan AMOS 19.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Country of Origin memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Purchase Intention, Country of origin memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Perceived Quality serta Perceived Quality memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Purchase Intention.

This research purposes to describe and discover the influence of Country of Origin on Purchase Intention through Perceived Quality. This research was developed based on the quantitative research. The sample for this study comprised 200 respondents who are people who know about the watches products of Swatch brand. This research using non-probability sampling and determine the sample through using purposive sampling technique. The research used questionnaire as research instrument, analyzed with using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and processed using AMOS 19.0. The result showed that Country of Origin had significant influence on Purchase Intention, Country of origin had significant influence on Perceived Quality and Perceived Quality had significant influence on Purchase Intention.

"Walau konsep Brand Origin (BO) sudah banyak diteliti, namun masih jarang yang berfokus pada produk experiential seperti musik. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi BO sebagai faktor objektif dengan product usage experience sebagai faktor subjektif terhadap minat beli produk musik yang berasal dari dua BO berbeda, yaitu Indonesia (lokal) dan Amerika Serikat (asing).
Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan mayoritas responden berumur muda berjumlah 137 orang. Data empiris yang dikumpulkan lewat survei digunakan untuk menguji dua set hipotesa terkait BO Indonesia dan BO Amerika Serikat.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika persepsi BO memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap persepsi kualitas namun tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap minat beli produk musik baik Indonesia maupun Amerika Serikat. Sedangkan product usage experience memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap persepsi kualitas dan minat beli. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan jika persepsi kualitas memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap minat beli produk musik Amerika Serikat namun tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap minat beli produk musik Indonesia.

Although the concept of Brand Origin (BO) has been widely studied, but it was rarely focused on experiential products such as music. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of BO perception as an objective factor and product usage experience as a subjective factor to the perceived quality and purchase intention of music products that come from two different BO, namely Indonesia (local) and the United States (foreign) among Indonesian consumers.
The method used is quantitative research, involving 137 respondents with the majority of young respondents. Empirical data collected via surveys were used to test two sets of hypotheses related to the BO of Indonesia and the United States.
The results indicated that the BO perception has a direct influence on perceived quality but has no direct influence on purchase intention both Indonesia and the United States music products, while product usage experience has direct influence both on perceived quality and purchase intention. The results also demonstrate that perceived quality has a direct influence on purchase intention of United States music products, but has no direct influence on purchase intention of Indonesia music products.

"ABSTRAK
Tesis ini bertujuan untuk membahas pengaruh brand name, product involvement, dan consumer ethnocentrism terhadap purchase intention. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen dengan factorial design 2 (brand name: local vs foreign name) x2 (product involvement: low vs high involvement) x2 (consumer ethnocentrism: low vs high ethnocentrism). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa foreign name memiliki purchase intention yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan local name. Hasil yang sama terjadi ketika foreign name dikombinasikan dengan low-involvement product, sedangkan pada high-involvement product, tidak terdapat perbedaan purchase intention antara penggunaan foreign name dan local name. Ketika foreign name dikombinasikan dengan low ethnocentrism pengaruh foreign name terhadap purchase intention lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan local name, sedangkan pada konsumen dengan high ethnocentrism, pengaruh local name terhadap purchase intention tidak memiliki perbedaan dengan foreign name. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa pada kondisi low involvement dan low ethnocentrism, foreign name memiliki purchase intention yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan local name, sedangkan pada kondisi high involvement dan high ethnocentrism, local name memiliki purchase intention yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan foreign name. Hasil penelitian bermanfaat bagi perusahaan dalam mendesain nama merek yang tepat sesuai dengan tingkat involvement dari produk yang dipasarkan dan juga tingkat ethnocentrisme konsumen.

ABSTRACT
This thesis discussed the effect of brand name, product involvement, and consumer ethnocentrism towards purchase intention. This study used experimental approach with factorial design 2 (brand name: local vs foreign name) x2 (product involvement: low vs high involvement) x2 (consumer ethnocentrism: low vs high ethnocentrism. The results showed that in general, foreign names have higher purchase intention and gave. The same outcome occurred when foreign name were combined with low-involvement products, whereas in high-involvement products, there were no interaction effect between foreign and local name. When foreign name were combined with low ethnocentrism, the effect of foreign name will be higher than local name, while for ethnocentric consumer, the effect of local name toward purchase intention was not significantly different compared with foreign name. This study also showed that in the condition of low involvement and low ethnocentrism, foreign name have higher purchase intention compared to local name. While, in high involvement and high ethnocentrism condition, local name have higher purchase intention compared to foreign name. This study gave managerial implication which beneficial for companies in designing appropriate brand name according to the level of involvement of the product they offer to consumer and level of consumer ethnocentrism."

"Meningkatnya jumlah limbah plastik di Indonesia dapat dimanfaatkan oleh organisasi untuk membuat ecofurniture, yaitu perabot ramah lingkungan. Media sosial membantu mempromosikan produk ini, memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh pengetahuan produk, efektivitas konsumen, pemasaran di media sosial, trust, attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control dan perceived price terhadap purchase intention ecofurniture di Indonesia. Studi kuantitatif ini mengumpulkan data melalui metode survei kuesioner online yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari 320 responden dengan kriteria pengguna media sosial yang mengetahui produsen perabot ramah lingkungan melalui media sosial di Indonesia. Data akan diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Temuan pada penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa attitude, trust, product knowledge dan perceived consumer effectiveness secara signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap purchase intention. Product knowledge ditemukan secara signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap trust dan perceived consumer effectiveness. Perceived consumer effectiveness secara signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap attitude. Serta variabel perceived social media marketing secara ignifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap subjective norms, perceived consumer effectiveness dan product knowledge. Sedangkan variabel price consciousness, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control ditemukan tidak secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap purchase intention. Perceived behavioral control dan perceived social media marketing juga tidak secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap price consciousness. Begitu juga dengan hubungan antara variabel product knowledge dengan attitude tidak secara signifikan berpengaruh.

The increasing amount of waste generated in Indonesia each year can be utilized by several organizations to process plastic waste, which then becomes eco-furniture. With the help of social media to promote their products, the public can gain knowledge about eco-furniture from the content provided by household furniture manufacturers. This research aims to examine the influence of product knowledge, perceived consumer effectiveness, perceived social media, trust, TPB, and price consciousness on purchase intention of ecofurniture in Indonesia. This quantitative study gather data through an online questionnaire survey method used to collect data to gather 321 respondents with criteria a social media users who knows ecofurniture producers through social media in Indonesia. The data will be processed and analyzed using the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method. The findings in this study reveal that attitude, trust, product knowledge, and perceived consumer effectiveness significantly positively influence purchase intention. Product knowledge was found to significantly positively influence trust and perceived consumer effectiveness. Perceived consumer effectiveness significantly positively influences attitude. Additionally, the perceived social media marketing variable significantly positively influences subjective norms, perceived consumer effectiveness, and product knowledge. However, the variables of price consciousness, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control were found to have no significant influence on purchase intention. Perceived behavioral control and perceived social media marketing also do not significantly influence price consciousness. Similarly, the relationship between product knowledge and attitude is not significantly influential."

"Store brand merupakan salah satu strategi yang diterapkan oleh peritel untuk dapat bersaing di pasar. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan perilaku pembelian store brand. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya, store image, store brand price image dan perceived risk berpengaruh terhadap purchase intention produk store brand. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh store image, store brand price image dan perceived risk terhadap purchase intention produk store brand Watsons. Penelitian menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Tehnik pengumpulan data dengan cara survei melalui kuesioner. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian adalah pengunjung ataupun pembeli di ritel Watsons JABODETABEK dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 180 responden yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa store image perceptions dan store brand price image berpengaruh positif terhadap store brand purchase intention.

Store brand is one of retailer's strategy to be competitive in the market. Several factors have been underlined to explain store brands' (SBs) purchase behavior.Based on previous research, store image, store brand price image and perceived risk have an influence toward store brand purchase intention. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect store image, store brand price image and perceived risk on purchase intention of store brand products Watsons. A research using Structural equation modeling to test the hypothesized relationships. Methods of data collection by survey techniques. Populations and samples in this study are the visitor or buyer at 'Drugstore Watsons' JABODETABEK, with a total sample of 180 respondents were randomly selected. The result of this study shows that store image perceptions and SB price-image positif influence significantly SB purchase intention."

"Pakaian merupakan kategori produk yang paling banyak dibeli oleh pengguna internet di Indonesia. Nila ritel dari kategori pakaian dan sepatu (fashion) mengalami kenaikan secara signifikan pada tiga tahun terakhir. Hal tersebut mendorong berkembangnya fashion online retailer di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel product brand image , online store image¸ financial risk, product risk, dan time risk terhadap purchase intention pada fashion online retailer terbesar di Indonesia, yaitu Zalora. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa online store image merupakan faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap intensi untuk membeli di Zalora, dimana variabel ?variabel perceived risks tidak menunjukan pengaruh signifikan terhadap purchase intention.

Clothing is the most widely purchased product category by internet users in Indonesia. Retail value for clothing and footwear (fashion) has significantly increase over the last three years. It encourages the development of online fashion retailer in Indonesia. This study aimed to analyze the influence of product brand image, online store image, financial risk, product risk, and time risk towards purchase intention in the context of online fashion retailer in Indonesia, namely Zalora. Result shows that online store image is the only factor that affects purchase intention to buy in Zalora, while perceived risk is not significantly impact purchase intention."

Banyak strategi telah dilakukan oleh perusahaan sebagai cara untuk
meningkatkan respon konsumen terhadap suatu produk, salah satunya dengan
menggunakan Caused-related Marketing (CRM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengungkapkan apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari perceived fit, tipe
produk dan brand familiarity terhadap purchase intention konsumen dalam
konteks Caused-Related Marketing. Desain faktorial between subject dengan 2
(perceived fit: tinggi vs rendah) x2 (tipe produk: utilitarian vs hedonic) x2 (brand
familiarity: familiar vs nonfamiliar) digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis
penelitian. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner online dan offline.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa purchase intention dalam konteks CRM
dipengaruhi oleh brand familiarity.

ABSTRACT
Many strategies have been carried out by companies as a way to improve
consumer response toward a product, one of them by using Caused-related
Marketing (CRM). This study aimed to reveal whether there are significant effects
of perceived fit, product type and brand familiarity on customer purchase
intention in Caused-related Marketing context. Factorial design between-subject
with 2 (perceived fit: high vs. low) x2 (product type: utilitarian vs. hedonic) x2
(brand familiarity: familiar vs. non familiar) was used to test the research
hypothesis. Data were collected by using online and offline questionnaire. The
result of this study showed that customer purchase intention in Caused Related
Marketing campaign depend on the level of brand familiarity.
