"Apotek merupakan sarana pelayanan kefarmasian tempat dilakukan praktik pelayanan kefarmasian oleh Apoteker. Pelayanan Kefarmasian adalah suatu pelayanan langsung dan bertanggung jawab kepada pasien yang berkaitan dengan sediaan farmasi dengan maksud mencapai hasil yang pasti untuk meningkatkan mutu kehidupan pasien. Apoteker bertanggung jawab terhadap pengelolaan sediaan farmasi, alat kesehatan, dan bahan medis habis pakai di apotek sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku serta memastikan kualitas, manfaat dan keamanannya. Selain itu pelayanan farmasi klinik di apotek merupakan bagian dari pelayanan kefarmasian yang langsung dan bertanggung jawab kepada pasien terkait dengan sediaan farmasi, alat kesehatan, dan BMHP dengan maksud mencapai hasil yang pasti untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup (outcome) pasien. Berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 73 Tahun 2016, pelayanan kefarmasian di Rumah Sakit meliputi standar pengelolaan sediaan farmasi, alat kesehatan, dan BMHP, serta pelayanan farmasi klinik. Pengelolaan sediaan farmasi, alat kesehatan, dan BMHP mencakup proses perencanaan, pengadaan, penerimaan, penyimpanan, pemusnahan, pengendalian, serta pencatatan dan pelaporan. Sementara pelayanan farmasi klinik meliputi pengkajian resep, dispensing, pelayanan informasi obat (PIO), konseling, pelayanan kefarmasian di rumah (home pharmacy care), pemantauan terapi obat (PTO), dan Monitoring Efek Samping Obat (MESO). Jenis penelitian termasuk penelitian deskriptif non eksperimental terhadap Apotek Kimia Farma Duren Tiga. Pengelolaan sediaan farmasi dan alat kesehatan serta pelayanan farmasi klinis yang diterapkan di Apotek Kimia Farma Duren Tiga telah sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 73 Tahun 2016. Namun dalam implementasi pelayanan farmasi klinis, ada beberapa kegiatan yang mayoritas belum terlaksana di Apotek Kimia Farma Duren Tiga, seperti pemantauan terapi obat, home pharmacy care, dan MESO.
