"Penelitian ini mengkaji model bisnis Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam meningkatkan akses pasar melalui e-commerce dengan tujuan untuk memperluas segmen pelanggan. Peran signifikan UMKM dalam menyerap tenaga kerja dan berkontribusi terhadap pendapatan domestik bruto (PDB) dihadapkan pada tantangan penyesuaian tren konsumen dalam memperoleh barang atau jasa yang bergeser dari “luring” ke “daring” akibat pandemi COVID-19. Pada kenyataannya, belum semua UMKM siap menyesuaikan model bisnis mereka untuk mengoptimalisasi marketplace. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Business Coaching dengan fokus analisis pada kanvas model bisnis (BMC) sebuah UMKM skala kecil di Jakarta, Indonesia. Untuk memahami permasalahan yang dihadapi (analisis kesenjangan usaha) dan usulan solusi untuk mencapai target usaha, penelitian ini menggunakan kerangka analisis SWOT, VRIO, dan lima kekuatan Porter. Hasil evaluasi BMC saat ini menunjukkan bahwa pengusaha perlu memperluas basis pelanggannya (customer segment) untuk dapat menerima manfaat dari produk yang ditawarkan. Selain itu, perkuatan nilai manfaat yang ditawarkan (value proposition) melalui kanal foto produk yang ditampilkan di etalase e-commerce Tokopedia diprediksi dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan calon pembeli atas nilai manfaat yang ditawarkan oleh produk tersebut. Kanvas model bisnis yang baru pun dikembangkan untuk menjawab tuntutan ekspansi basis pelanggan dan dampak ikutannya dalam hal pengembangan komponen-komponen model bisnis lainnya dalam formasi sembilan blok sebagai respons terhadap hasil analisis lingkungan internal dan eksternal. Rekomendasi kanvas model bisnis yang baru dapat menjawab tuntutan perluasan segmen pelanggan dengan cara meningkatkan penjualan produk dan meningkatkan peringkat di kanal Tokopedia yang pada gilirannya akan meningkatkan kinerja usaha.

This research examines the business model of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in increasing market access through e-commerce with the aim of expanding the customer segment. The significant role of MSMEs in absorbing labor and contributing to gross domestic product (GDP) is faced with the challenge of adjusting consumer trends in obtaining goods or services that have shifted from "offline" to "online" due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In reality, not all MSMEs are ready to adjust their business model to optimize the marketplace. This study uses the Business Coaching approach with an analysis focus on the business model canvas (BMC) of a small-scale MSMEs in Jakarta, Indonesia. To understand the problems faced (business gap analysis) and proposed solutions to achieve business targets, this study uses the SWOT analysis framework, VRIO, and Porter's five forces. The results of the current BMC evaluation show that entrepreneurs need to expand their customer base (customer segment) to be able to receive benefits from the products offered. In addition, strengthening the value proposition offered through the product photo channel displayed on the Tokopedia e-commerce storefront is predicted to increase the trust of potential buyers in the value benefits offered by the product. A new business model canvas was developed to respond to the demands of expanding the customer base and the associated impact in terms of developing other business model components in a nine-block formation in response to the results of an analysis of the internal and external environment. Recommendations for a new business model canvas can answer the demands of expanding customer segments by increasing product sales and increasing ratings on the Tokopedia channel which in turn will improve business performance."

"Penelitian ini mengkaji tantangan yang dihadapi oleh Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Indonesia, khususnya di De Saung, terkait peningkatan kinerja dan kesadaran merek mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran, dengan memanfaatkan data primer dari kuesioner online dan offline yang disebar kepada pelanggan, serta data sekunder dari catatan keuangan. Alat analisis seperti analisis SWOT, analisis gap, dan analisis Pareto digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap penurunan kinerja De Saung. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan kinerja De Saung, ditandai dengan penurunan pendapatan dibandingkan tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Penurunan ini dapat disebabkan oleh kurang optimalnya pemanfaatan saluran promosi media sosial dan kurangnya penawaran promosi yang beragam. Selain itu, De Saung juga menghadapi persaingan dari bisnis sejenis, yang menuntut penyesuaian strategi mereka. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, penelitian ini menyarankan pengembangan saluran pemasaran untuk meningkatkan kesadaran merek. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga dan rekomendasi bagi UMKM, khususnya De Saung, untuk mendorong pertumbuhan dan kesuksesan di pasar.

This study examines the challenges faced by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, specifically in De Saung, regarding their performance improvement and brand awareness. The research adopts a mixed-methods approach, utilizing primary data from online and offline questionnaires distributed to customers and secondary data from financial records. Analytical tools such as SWOT analysis, gap analysis, and Pareto analysis are employed to identify the factors contributing to De Saung's performance decline. The findings indicate a decrease in De Saung's performance, characterized by a decline in income compared to previous years. This decline can be attributed to underutilized social media promotional channels and a lack of diverse promotional offerings. Additionally, De Saung faces competition from similar businesses, necessitating adjustments to their strategies. To address these challenges, the study proposes the development of marketing channels to enhance brand awareness. This research offers valuable insights and recommendations for MSMEs, specifically De Saung, to foster growth and success in the market."

Di tengah populasi UMKM dan kontribusinya yang besar, UMKM sering menghadapi tantangan dalam aspek bisnis fundamental, seperti perencanaan, manajemen operasional, model bisnis, inovasi, dan proses bisnis. Studi kasus dengan pendekatan business coaching ini mengevaluasi model bisnis UMKM saat ini yanh didukung dengan hasil analisis lingkungan eksternal dan internal perusahaan. Dalam prosesnya. peneliti usaha Hi Kuliner menggunakan analisis internal VRIO, segmentasi pasar, analisis eksternal PEST, analisis lingkungan eksternal dengan lima kekuatan Porter, dan analisis SWOT terhadap usaha Hi Kuliner dan terhadap model bisnis Hi Kuliner. Peta SWOT telah dilakukan untuk usaha Hi Kuliner dan untuk model bisnis Hi Kuliner. Berdasarkan hasil SWOT model bisnis dengan mempertimbangkan kondisi lingkungan eksternal dan internal perusahaan, peneliti dapat mengidentifikasi kesenjangan usaha yang mengarah pada pengembangan model bisnis baru dengan perbaikan utama diawali pada blok aktivitas kunci. Hasil penelitian dengan pendekatan business coaching ini menekankan pentingnya mengembangkan dan melakukan pembaruan aktivitas kunci yang sesuai dengan bisnis UMKM.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Indonesian economy have been recognized as having a strategic role in employment and in their contribution to Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Despite their large population and contribution, MSMEs often face challenges in fundamental business aspects, such as planning, operational management, business models, innovation, and business processes. This case study with a business coaching approach evaluated the current business model of one small enterprise (subsequently called HK for Hi Kuliner) supported by the results of the analysis of the company's external and internal environment. In the process, we used VRIO internal analysis, market segmentation, PEST external analysis, external environment analysis with Porter's five forces, and Strength-Weakness-Opportunity-Threat analysis of HK business model. SWOT mapping has been done for HK as an enterprise and for HK product’s business model. Based on the SWOT results of the business model by considering the external and internal environmental conditions of the company, we can identify business model problems that led to the development of a new business model with the main improvements starting in the key activity blocks. The results of this research with a business coaching approach emphasize the importance of innovating key activities that are suitable for the HK business."

"Tesis ini memaparkan mengenai kegiatan restart-up bisnis UKM yang bergerak di pengolahan susu sapi menjadi yogurt dengan memakai bakteri asam laktat Lactobacillus bulgaricus dan Streptococcus thermophillus. UKM ini memproduksi yogurt dengan merek Q Healthy Yogurt. Produk Q Healthy Yogurt tidak menggunakan bahan pengawet buatan. Produk Q Healthy Yogurt ini berbentuk stick dan memiliki enam varian rasa, yakni rasa anggur, melon, lemon, stroberi, sirsak, dan orange. UKM yang telah berjalan selama enam tahun ini, sempat vakum selama 4 bulan. UKM tidak pernah mencatat apapun dan belum memisahkan keuangan pribadi dengan bisnis. UKM juga sering ditipu oleh beberapa reseller. Dengan adanya business coaching, UKM ini berhasil menjalankan kembali bisnisnya dengan sistem yang baru. Laba bersih makin meningkat dari bulan September hingga November 2015. Strategi pemasaran online juga sudah diterapkan, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan tingkat kesadaran dari masyarakat. UKM juga masih dalam pengupayaan dalam menjadi anggota Kadin Bogor.

This thesis is about restart-up bisnis of small medium enterprise (SME) which produced yogurt as milk product using lactat acid bacteria, Lactobacillus bulgaricus dan Streptococcus thermophillus. This small medium enterprise produced yogurt is Q Healthy Yogurt. This SME did not use any preservative. Its products is packaged in stick and have six flavor, such as grape, honeydew, lemon, strawberry, soursop, and orange. SME has established for six years, and has stopped working for 4 months. The history of SME has never been noted and did not have financial management yet. SME was laid by several resellers. With business coaching, SME was restart-up business with new system. Its profit continous raised from September to December 2015. Online marketing was applied so that it can raise level of people?s awareness. SME has been trying to be part of Kadin Bogor."
