"ABSTRAKPengukuran kualitas udara telah menjadi instrumen yang penting sejakmeningkatnya polusi udara. Metode untuk mengukur kualitas udara sebagian besarmenggunakan instrumen konvensional seperti spektrometer dan kromatograf gas.Pengukuran dilakukan pada stasiun-stasiun tetap atau kendaraan pengukur kualitasudara. Metode konvensional ini memiliki kekurangan, yakni harga instrumen yangmahal dan lahan yang luas untuk mengoperasikannya. Mahalnya harga instrumendan luasnya lahan yang dibutuhkan menyebabkan pengukuran hanya bisa dilakukanpada tempat terbatas, sehingga titik pengukuran tidak banyak.Penulis merancang metode pengukuran baru menggunakan sensor gas.Sensor gas dapat mengganti peran instrumen konvensional, sehingga menjadisebuah alternatif. Penggunaan sensor gas untuk mengukur kualitas udara memilikikelebihan seperti harga yang terjangkau dengan pembacaan yang kontinu. Sehinggatitik pengukuran dapat tersebar luas.Sensor gas MQ-135 digunakan sebagai sensor dengan Modul WiFiESP8266-01 sebagai pengirim data sensor ke titik akses. Arduino Uno digunakansebagai mikrokontroler untuk memroses data yang diperoleh dari sensor. Kalibrasi,pengukuran responsivitas dan konsumsi daya dilakukan melalui metode ini. Hasilmenunjukkan bahwa sensor butuh 11 menit untuk stabil, simpul sensor dapatmerespon hingga 102 m, dan konsumsi daya dari 0-100 m adalah 1 W.

ABSTRACTAir quality measurement has become an important tool since air pollutionincreases. Most of the method used for measurement utilizes conventionalinstruments such as spectrometers and gas chromatographs. Measurements takesplace in fixed stations or mobile stations (which use large vehicle). Since widespaces are occupied and instruments are expensive, it is not feasible to create amassive amount of measurement nodes and continuous measurement through thisconventional method.A new method of measurement is proposed using gas sensor. Gas sensor hasbecome an alternative for air quality measurement. Through this new methodproposed, a gas sensor is used to replace the conventional instruments. Since it issmall and affordable, it is possible to create multiple sensor nodes and continuousmeasurement.MQ-135 gas sensor is used as the sensor with WiFi Module ESP8266-01 asdata transmitter. Arduino Uno works as the microcontroller to process data obtainedfrom sensor. Callibration, responsivity of node, and power consumption aremeasured. Results have shown that gas sensor took 11 minutes to stabilize, sensornode is able to respond up to 102 m, and power consumption of node from 0-100m is 1 W."
