"Dalam penelitian ini penulis membahas factor yang membuat Qatar keluar dari OPEC. Tujuan ipenelitian iini iadalah iuntuk imenganalisa idinamika ikeanggotaan iQatar iKetika imasih iberada idalam ianggota iOPEC; imenganalisa ipenyebab iQatar ikeluar idari iOPEC idan imenganalisa idampak iyang iakan idialami iQatar isehingga iia imemilih iuntuk ikeluar idari ianggota iOPEC. iMetode ipenelitian iyang idigunakan iadalah imetode ikualitatif ikarena imampu imemberikan imakna idari iTindakan isocial iterutama iyang iberkaitan idengan ihal iyang imelatarbelakangi ikeputusan iQatar imenarik idiri idari iorganisasi iOPEC. iDengan iteori irealisme idan istabilitas ihegemon idalam ipenelitian iini iterdapat ifakta-fakta ibahwa ipenarikan idiri iQatar idari ikeanggotaan iOPEC imerupakan idampak idari ikonfrontansi ipolitik iQatar idengan isejumlah inegara iArab. iSebagaimana ipada itahun i2017 ihingga isaat iQatar ikeluar idari iOPEC.
In this study, the author discusses the factors that made Qatar leave OPEC. The purpose of this study is to analyze the dynamics of Qatar's membership when it was still a member of OPEC; analyze the causes of Qatar leaving OPEC and analyze the impact that will be experienced by Qatar so that it chooses to leave OPEC members. The research method used is a qualitative method because it is able to provide meaning from social actions, especially those related to the reasons behind Qatar's decision to withdraw from the OPEC organization. With the theory of realism and hegemonic stability in this study, there are facts that Qatar's withdrawal from OPEC membership is the impact of Qatar's political confrontation with a number of Arab countries. As in 2017 until when Qatar left OPEC. The conclusion of this research is that Qatar decided to take a foreign policy based on a counterdependent foreign policy towards its membership in OPEC. OPEC's internal balance condition is also one of Qatar leaving the organization. There was no significant impact on Qatar when it left OPEC. In the eyes of realism theory, a country still needs another country to survive, but behind it all there is an interest that must be fulfilled. In maintaining the country in order to survive, the state will try to achieve its national security."
