"Tesis ini membahas efektivitas penggunaan video sebagai media ajar dalam kelas tata bahasa tingkat pra-madya. Komponen tata bahasa yang diajarkan adalah kala lampau dan kala kini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimental dengan desain post-test control group. Data diperoleh dari pre-test, post-test, kuesioner gaya belajar, kuesioner persepsi pemelajar terhadap penggunaan video dalam pengajaran dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang belajar kala dengan menggunakan video lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan buku ajar.Selain itu, pengajaran dengan video meningkatkan nilai siswa dengan berbagai gaya belajar. Perbedaan kenaikan nilai tidak signifikan karena jumlah siswa dengan gaya belajar visual sangat sedikit dibandingkan jumlah siswa dengan gaya belajar non-visual. Kendatipun demikian, hasil kuesioner persepsi gaya belajar menunjukkan bahwa pengajaran dengan video terbukti meningkatkan minat belajar pemelajar kelas eksperimental. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merekomendasikan penggunaan video sebagai salah satu medium ajar kala di dalam kelas.


This thesis discusses the effectiveness of video usage as a teaching medium in pre-secondary grammar class. The grammar points taught were simple past tense and simple present tense. This research is a quasi-experimental research with post-test control group design. Data were obtained from pre-test, post-test, learning style questionnaire, questionnaire of student perception towards the use of video in teaching, and interview. The results showed that the scores of students who learned with video were higher than the scores of students learning using textbooks.  It was found that using video as the teaching medium increased the students scores in all categories of learning styles. It was also found that no significant difference was found in the results obtained by students with visual learning style compared with students with non-visual learning styles. This was due to the small number of students with visual learning style in this reseacrh.  However, the learning-style-questionnaire results revealed that learning with videos proved to be enjoyed by the learners. Therefore, the researcher recommends the use of video as one of the grammar-teaching medium in a classroom."

"This book takes Korean as a basis to provide a detailed universal Determiner Phrase (DP) structure. Adnominal adjectival expressions are apparently optional noun dependents but their syntax and semantics have been shown to provide an important window on the internal structure of DP. By carefully examining data from Korean, an understudied language, as well as from other unrelated languages, the book provides a broad perspective on the phenomenon of noun modification and its cross-linguistic variations. Furthermore, it offers not only a thorough syntactic analysis but also a formal semantic analysis of noun modifiers that extends beyond a single language. This book will be of great interest to researchers interested in theoretical syntax, its interfaces with semantics, pragmatics, linguistic typology, and language variation. "Film Nicos Weg-A1 karya Deutsche Welle merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran film yang tersedia pada platform Youtube dan dapat digunakan sebagai media penunjang pembelajaran bahasa Jerman secara individu maupun di kelas. Namun, film ini menerima banyak tulisan pada bagian kolom komentar Youtube yang mengatakan bahwa film Nicos Weg-A1 menggunakan bahasa yang terlalu sulit untuk para penonton pada tingkat A1. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian tata bahasa yang digunakan dalam percakapan film. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan buku ajar Studio [21] sebagai acuan analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun film ini sudah banyak mengimplementasi tata bahasa tingkat A1, ditemukan beberapa jenis tata bahasa yang tidak sesuai dengan tingkat A1 setelah dibandingkan dengan buku ajar Studio [21]. Ketidaksesuaian tata bahasa tersebut berjumlah 15 jenis yang dilihat dari percakapan film memiliki fungsi pragmatis karena kegunaannya untuk menyesuaikan dengan konteks dan situasi percakapan di dalam film.

Nicos Weg-A1 by Deutsche Welle is one of the learning mediums that is available on Youtube and can be used as a supporting medium for learning German individually or in a class. However, this film received some criticism in the comments section of Youtube saying that the film uses language that is too difficult for viewers at the A1 level. This study aims to determine the suitability of the grammar used in the conversation. The type of research used in this study was descriptive qualitative and used the Studio [21] textbook as a reference for the analysis. It comes with a conclusion that, although this film has implemented a lot of A1 level grammar, it was found that several types of grammar were not suitable for A1 level after being compared with the Studio [21] textbook. There are 15 types of grammar, which can be seen from the film's conversation that it has a pragmatic function because of its use to adjust to the conversation's context and situation. "
