"Tesis ini membahas penurunan hegemoni Amerika Serikat dalam bidang pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hegemoni Amerika Serikat dalam rangking pendidikan tinggi semakin menurun, hal ini diiringi penurunan jumlah mahasiswa internasional yang memilih Amerika Serikat sebagai negara tujuan studi. Lalu hal yang sama juga terjadi pada jumlah awardee beasiswa Finance Education and Training Agency (FETA) dan Ministerial Scholarship (MINS) yang memilih Amerika Serikat juga semakin menurun. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat beberapa alasan awardee beasiswa FETA dan MINS menghindari Amerika Serikat sebagai negara tujuan studi. Selain itu dengan membandingkan data dengan awardee beasiswa Scholarship Program for Strengthening the Reforming Institution (SPIRIT), ditemukan peran awardee sebagai bridgehead bagi negara tujuan studi.

This thesis discusses the decline of the United States hegemony in higher education. This research is qualitative research with a case study method. The hegemony of the United States in the higher education ranking is decreasing, this is accompanied by a decrease in the number of international students who choose the United States as a study destination country. Then the same thing happened to the number of scholarship awardees for the Finance Education and Training Agency (FETA) and Ministerial Scholarship (MINS) who chose the United States. The results of this study found that there were several reasons why FETA and MINS scholarship awardees avoided the United States as a study destination country. In addition, by comparing the data with the scholarship awardees of the Scholarship Program for Strengthening the Reforming Institution (SPIRIT), we found the role of the awardee as a bridgehead for the study destination country."

"Technostress dapat muncul selama seseorang menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) dalam pekerjaannya, khususnya pada pustakawan perguruan tinggi dalam mengadakan digital scholarship di Indonesia. Pustakawan memanfaatkan TIK untuk memberikan informasi secara daring, salah satunya menyebarkan hasil penelitian dari penelitian dosen, mahasiswa. Digital scholarship hadir disebabkan terjadi pergeseran pengajaran, pembelajaran, dan penelitian dari tatap muka ke tatap maya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur tingkat technostress dari enam variabel secara deskriptif dan mengetahui hubungan antara data demografi dengan technostress pustakawan perguruan tinggi selama pandemi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah 92 pustakawan perguruan tinggi di Indonesia yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan pustakawan perguruan tinggi di Indonesia mengalami technostress yang rendah selama pandemi. Penelitian ini menujukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara technostress dengan data demografi, kecuali jabatan. Penelitian ini bermanfaat sebagai referensi untuk penelitian masa depan tentang technostress dan meninjau kebijakan terkait digital scholarship yang dapat diterapkan di perpustakaan perguruan tinggi Indonesia.

Technostress can occur when individuals use information and communication technology (ICT) in their work, and academic librarians in Indonesia who work in digital scholarship are especially susceptible. Librarians use ICT to provide information to the academic community, and one of their roles is to disseminate research results from researchers, lecturers, and students. The importance of digital scholarship, mainly due to a shift towards digital teaching, learning and research in the academic institution from face-to-face to virtual. This study aims to measure the technostress level through six variables and investigates the significant differences between the technostress levels of academic librarians in Indonesia based on demographic data during the pandemic. This study uses a quantitative approach its research subjects are 92 academic librarians in Indonesia, and data is collected through questionnaires. The results reveal that academic librarians in Indonesia tended to experience low technostress during the pandemic. Other results show a significant different between technostress and demographic data, except for job position. This research is helpful as a reference for future studies on technostress and for reviewing policies related to digital scholarship that may be implemented in academic libraries in Indonesia."

"Pendidikan tinggi memiliki sistem, tututan akademik, serta cara belajar dan berpikir yang berbeda dengan jenjang pendidikan sebelumnya. Hal ini membuat mahasiswa harus mengembangkan sifat yang sesuai untuk dapat membantu mereka dalam menjalani pendidikan serta memperoleh performa akademik yang baik di perguruan tinggi. Salah satu virtue yang dikatakan dapat membantu mahasiswa untuk berperforma dengan baik adalah intellectual humility. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana arah hubungan antara intellectual humility dan performa akademik pada mahasiswa sarjana di Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 80 mahasiswa dari Universitas Indonesia, dengan menggunakan alat ukur Comprehensive Intellectual Humility Scale untuk mengukur intellectual humility dan IPK untuk mengukur performa akademik. Hasil analisis korelasi Pearson menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara intellectual humility dan performa akademik mahasiswa (r (80) = 0,189, p<0.05, one tailed) dengan effect size sebesar 0,030, yang mengindikasikan bahwa korelasi antara intellectual humility dan performa akademik tergolong lemah.

Higher education has different systems, academic demands, and ways of learning and thinking from previous levels of education. College students have to develop appropriate viertues to be able to help them to obtain good academic performance. One of the virtues that is said to be able to help students to perform well is intellectual humility. This study aims to see the direction of relationship between intellectual humility and academic performance in undergraduate students of Universitas Indonesia. This research was conducted on 80 students from Universitas Indonesia, using the Comprehensive Intellectual Humility Scale to measure intellectual humility and GPA to measure academic performance. The results of the Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive relationship between intellectual humility and student academic performance (r (80) = 0.189, p<0.05, one tailed) with an effect size of 0.030, which indicates that the correlation between intellectual humility and academic performance is relatively weak."

"Mahasiswa tingkat akhir sarjana menghadapi permasalahan-permasalahan akademik yang lebih sulit dari tingkat sebelumnya sehingga memerlukan resiliensi akademik. Penelitian sebelumnya menemukan bahwa religiusitas Islam dapat meningkatkan resiliensi akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa besar peran religiusitas Islam, beserta masing-masing dimensinya terhadap resiliensi akademik pada mahasiswa muslim berwarganegara Indonesia yang berada di tingkat akhir studi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan hasil uji ( R2=.234, F(1,102)=31.245, p=.000) yang menunjukkan bahwa religiusitas Islam memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap resiliensi akademik. Penelitian ini juga membuktikan dimensi Islamic worldview dan religious personality juga memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap resiliensi akademik. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif untuk membantu mahasiswa tingkat akhir menghadapi permasalahan akademik yang dialami.

Undergraduate final year students face academic problems that are more difficult than the previous level and thus require academic resilience. The previous study finds that Islamic religiosity can enhance academic resilience. This research aims to examine the role of Islamic religiosity, along with its dimensions, to academic resilience of Indonesian Muslim students who are in their final year of study. This study employs the simple linear regression analysis with test results ( R2=.234, F(1,102)=31.245, p=.000) which show that Islamic religiosity has a significant role in academic resilience. This study also proves that both the Islamic worldview and religious personality dimensions also have a significant role in academic resilience. The results of this study are expected to be an alternative to help final-year students deal with academic problems they experience."
