"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hasil tangkapan dan laju tangkap pada perikanan pukat tarik (mini trawl), tugu (trapnet) dan kelong (setnet). Data hasil dan upaya penangkapan serta waktu penangkapan dari setiap unit perikanan tersebut, telah digunakan dalam analisis hasil tangkapan dan laju tangkap secara kuantitatif yang menggambarkan komposisi hasil tangkapan dan nilai laju tangkap dari ketiga unit perikanan tangkap tersebut di Kota Tarakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam operasi penangkapan pukat tarik memiliki 2 (dua) target tangkapan, yaitu ikan pepija (nomei hc) dan udang (shrimp) dalam 2 (dua) musim penangkapannya. Ikan nomei juga menjadi target tangkapan pada pengoperasian perikanan tugu (trapnet) dan ikan-ikan pelagis kecil di sekitar pantai dan muara menjadi tangkapan utama perikanan kelong (setnet). Pengoperasian pukat tarik dengan target tangkapan ikan nomei memiliki nilai laju tangkap sebesar 16,1 kg/jam dan pada perikanan tugu memiliki nilai laju tangkapan sebesar 1,67 kg/jam. Nilai laju tangkap dari pengoperasian kelong sebesar 5,39 kg/hari dan perikanan pukat tarik dengan udang sebagai target tangkapan, memiliki nilai laju tangkap sebesar 2,05 kg/jam.

This paper purposed to assessment for fishing catch and catch rate of the dragged gear on shrimp, trapnet and setnet fisheries in Tarakan. Catch and effort data (number and species), fishing time of capture unit, were used in analysis qualitative fishing catch and catch rate to describe catch compotition and catch rate from three unit capture fisheries in Tarakan. The result of research showed that in the operation draged gear on shrimp have two main catch are nomei fish and shrimp. on the their two fishing season. Nomei fish as to be a main catch on the trapnet fisheries and pelagic fishes that estuary and coastal of waters as to be a main catch on the setnet fisheries. Dragged gear on shrimp operation with nomei fish as a main catch have catch rate of value are 16.10 kg/hour and trapnet fisheries are 1.67 kg/hour. Catch rate of value from setnet fisheries are 5.39 kg/day and dragged gear on shrimp operation with shrimp as a main catch have a catch rate of value 2.05 kg/hour."

"[Salah satu upaya yang perlu dilakukan dalam pengelolaan ikan tuna sirip biru selatan (Southern Bluefin Tuna / SBT) yang saat ini stoknya diperkirakan 9 % dari stok awal (Spawning Stock Biomass) yaitu menjaga agar stok biomassnya kembali pulih dengan mengendalikan kegiatan penangkapannya. Ketersediaan data laju tangkap, panjang cagak dan distribusi area akan menambah informasi dalam kajian pengelolaan sumberdaya ikan SBT di Samudera Hindia. Sampel ikan
SBT diperoleh dari hasil tangkapan kapal-kapal long line yang berpangkalan di Pelabuhan Umum Benoa, Bali yang diambil mulai Januari 2012 - Oktober 2014. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, kapal-kapal long line tuna Indonesia mempunyai ratarata laju tangkap dan panjang cagak SBT masing-masing sebesar 0,74±0,77 per 1000 pancing dan 154 ± 29,1 cm. Laju tangkap SBT tertinggi berada pada lokasi area CCSBT 8 (panjang cagak < 100 cm, usia < 4-6 tahun), sedangkan laju
tangkap terendah pada area CCSBT 1 yang merupakan daerah spawning ground SBT dewasa (panjang cagak >155 cm, usia > 8 tahun). Kapal-kapal long line tuna Indonesia lebih banyak menangkap SBT dengan ukuran belum layak tangkap (56,88 % dari total komposisi sampel). Uji one way anova menghasilkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dari nilai laju tangkap dan panjang cagak SBT dengan area CCSBT 1, 2 dan 8.;One of the efforts to support the management of southern blue-fin tuna (SBT) which currently estimated to be at 9% of initial SSB is to maintain the biomass stock in order to recover by controlling the fishing activities. The availability of hook rate data (number of SBT individuals per 1000 hooks) and fork length (FL) and area distribution provides additional information in the study of management SBT in the Indian Ocean. Samples of SBT were collected from long line fishing vessel based at Benoa Port, Bali taken during 2012, January – 2014, October. Based on the analysis, Indonesia long line fishing vessels had hook rate average of 0,74±0,77 per 1000 hooks and FL 154 ± 29,1 cm. The highest hook rate shown in the area of CCSBT 8 (FL less than 100 cm, at age of less than 4 – 6 years), whereas the lowest hook rate occured in the area of CCSBT 1 (FL >,155 cm, age of more than 8 years). "ABSTRAK
Keberhasilan operasi penangkapan pancing tonda banyak dipengaruhi oleh faktor teknis, dan non teknis. Tujuan penelitian adalah menentukan indeks musim penangkapan, morfometri, umur dan pertumbuhan ikan madidihang, serta pengelolaan pancing tonda di PPN Palabuhanratu berkesinambungan. Metode pengumpulan data primer dengan mengukur parameter kualitas air dan panjang berat ikan madidihang, kemudian wawancara dan pengisian kuesioner. Analisis yang digunakan adalah : (1) analisis rata-rata begerak; (2) regresi linier sederhana; (3) Von Bertallanfy Growth Function; dan (4) regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa musim penangkapan ikan madidihang di Palabuhanratu terjadi bulan Juni atau musim timur. Potensi lestari ikan madidihang sebesar 1095,54 ton/tahun dan f optimum 615 unit upaya penangkapan standar long line. Hubungan panjang berat ikan madidihang bersifat isometrik. Kemudian pola dan umur pertumbuhan ikan madidihang dinyatakan dengan persamaan von Bertalanffy yaitu : Lt = 166.43{1-e[-0.45(t+1.3843)]}dengan umur rata-rata 2-3 tahun dan sudah pernah memijah. Secara simultan pengaruh kedelapan faktor produksi ini terhadap hasil tangkapan madidihang dengan pancing tonda adalah signifikan dengan selang kepercayaan 95%. Sedangkan secara parsial pengaruhnya yang signifikan hanya oleh 5 faktor produksi saja, yaitu pendidikan dan pengalaman nakhoda, frekuensi setting menggunakan alat bantu "layang-layang", serta lamanya dan frekuensi setting menggunakan alat bantu jerigen per hari.

Abstract
The success of fishing operation of trolling lines heavily influenced by technical factors, and non-technical. The research objective was to determine the fishing season index, morphometry, age and growth of yellowfin tuna, as well as the management of fishing trolling lines at PPN Palabuhanratu. Primary data collection methods collected from measurement of water quality parameters and the length and weight of yellowfin, then interview and filling questionnaire from filed. The analysis used were: (1) analysis of the average stir, (2) simple linear regression, (3) Von Bertallanfy Growth Function, and (4) multiple regression. The results showed that yellowfin fishing season in Palabuhanratu season in June or east season. The potential sustainable resource of yellowfin tuna is 1095.54 tons/year and 615 units optimum f standard longline fishing effort. Length weight relationship of yellowfin tuna is isometric. The pattern and age of yellowfin tuna growth expressed by von Bertalanffy equation, Lt = 166.43 {1-e [-0.45 (t+1.3843)]} with an average age of 2-3 years and have never spawn. The simultaneous influence of these eight factors of production towards yellowfin catches by fishing with trolling lines is a significant 95% confidence interval. While the partial effects were significant only by the 5 factors of production, namely education and experience of the skipper, the frequency setting using the tools kite "layang-layang", as well as the duration and frequency settings using the tools jerry cans per day.
