"Industri 4.0 telah menjadi salah satu fokus teknologi yang masih berusaha untuk dicapai, terutama oleh negara-negara berkembang. Indonesia sebagai negara berkembang memiliki lima sektor industri prioritas yang diprioritaskan untuk dikembangkan, yaitu Industri Makanan dan Minuman, Industri Kimia, Tekstil, dan Industri Pakaian, Industri Otomotif, dan Industri Elektronik. Salah satu prinsip industri 4.0 yang akan dikemukakan dalam makalah ini adalah interoperabilitas, kemampuan sistem komputer atau perangkat lunak untuk mengubah dan memanfaatkan informasi, mesin, sensor dan manusia dapat terhubung dan berkomunikasi satu sama lain. Tesis ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan laba perusahaan dengan memberikan informasi yang dapat ditindaklanjuti dan real-time, meningkatkan produktivitas, mengurangi downtime, atau meningkatkan komunikasi. Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) digunakan untuk mengukur produktivitas mesin filter (penyaring) udara otomotif. Dengan mengukur OEE dan kerugian yang mendasarinya, kita dapat memperoleh informasi untuk meningkatkan atau memperbaiki proses produksi dan mencapai OEE yang lebih tinggi.

Industry 4.0 has become one of the technological focuses that are still trying to be achieved, especially by developing countries. Indonesia as a developing country has five priority industry sectors that are prioritized to develop, The Food and Beverage Industry, Chemical Industry, Textile, and Apparel Industry, The Automotive Industry, and The Electronics Industry. One of the principles of Industry 4.0 which will be put forward in this paper is Interoperability, the ability of computer systems or software to change and utilize information, machines-sensors and humans can connect and communicate with each other. This thesis aims to improve the bottom line of companies by delivering actionable and real-time information, increasing productivity, reducing downtime, or enhancing communication. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method is used for measuring automotive air filters machine productivity. By measuring OEE and the underlying losses, we can get pieces of information to improve or fix  the production process and reach a higher OEE value."
