"Barium Titanate telah diketahui memiliki karakteristik yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam berbagai aplikasi. Barium Titanate merupakan material dielektrik non-linier yang bebas dari kandungan Plumbum. Konstanta dielektrik dan permitivitas yang tinggi dibandingkan material ferroelektrik lain dan adanya arus bocor yang relatif tinggi menjadikan barium titanate menarik untuk diteliti lebih lanjut. Ion Zirconium merupakan substituent efektif Barium Titanate untuk mengurangi arus bocor dikarenakan ion Zirconium cenderung lebih stabil dibandingkan ion Titanium.
Lapisan tipis barium titanate yang disubstitusi dengan ion Zr(0,08 dan 0,1) dihasilkan melalui metode Chemical Solution Deposition yang dilanjutkan melalui spin coating dan perlakuan panas. Larutan BaZrTiO3 dideposisikan pada substrat Si hingga 3-5 lapisan dengan kecepatan putar 3000 rpm selama 30 s dilanjutkan dengan pirolisis pada 300°C dan annealing pada 700°C-800°C. Karakterisasi pada lapisan tipis BZT menitikberatkan pada sifat kristalografi melalui XRD dan uji histerisis. Uji histerisis dilakukan dengan sumber tegangan AC dengan 20 Vpp pada frekuensi 60 Hz.
Pola XRD menunjukkan adanya peningkatan ukuran kristalit terbesar pada 800°C sekitar 113 nm dengan menggunakan metode Williamson-Hall. Perbedaan Zr pada struktur BaTiO3 menggeser bidang hkl pada 2θ. Dengan jumlah lapisan BaZrTiO3 meningkat, polarisasi pada histerisis ferroelektrik cenderung tetap.
Barium Titanate is well known materials for many applications. It is nonlinear dielectric material and lead free based material, then this material is enviromental friendly. High dielectric constant and permitivity compared with other ferroelectric materials dan the high leakage current make barium titanate more interesting for further development. Zirconium ion is effective substituent of Barium Titanate to reduce leakage current. This is possible because Zirconium ion more stable than Titanium ion. Barium Titanate thin films Zr-doped(0.08 and 0.1 mol) is produced by Chemical Solution Deposition and continued by spin coating and heat treatment. BaZrTiO3 solution 0.5M is deposited on Si substrate 3-5 layers with rotational speed up to 3000 rpm for 30 s then it was treated by pyrolisis on 300°C and annealing 700°C-900°C. BZT thin films is charaterized by XRD to know its crystallographic properties and hysterisis testing. Hysterisis loop is made by using AC voltage source with 20 Vpp at frequency of 60 Hz. The XRD curves showed that crystalite size, based on Williamson-Hall calculation, is calculated around 113 nm for heat treatment 800°C. The different of Zr substitution in BaTiO3 structure shifted hkl plane on 2θ. Multilayer of BaZrTiO3 films on 0.1 Zr increase saturate polarization and decrease coersive field. In this case ferroelectric properties of BaZrTiO3 thin films increase, in contrary the low coersive field showed that easily loses its ferroelectric properties."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh pengaruh pemberian variasi tekanan maupun penambahan unsur lain yakni Cu dan Bi pada karakteristik fasa Sn di dalam material Sn, SnCu dan SnCuBi3. Analisa yang dilakukan berupa tinjauan terhadap perubahan kristalografi dan kerapatan elektronnya. Variasi tekanan yang dilakukan dalam penellitian ini meliputi tekanan 0 ton, 5 ton, 10 ton dan 15 ton. Sedangkan variasi pada penambahan unsur lain selain Sn berupa penambahan Cu pada paduan SnCu dan penambahan Cu-Bi pada paduan SnCuBi3, dimana kedua paduan ini kemudian akan dibandingkan terhadap material Sn mumi.
This research is performed to determine the effect of varied pressure and addition of Cu and Bi to the phase characteristic of Sn in Sn, SnCu and SnCuBi3 material. Crystallographic and electron density change were analyzed. Pressure variation of 0, 5, 10 and 15 tons were applied. As for addition of Cu and Bi for SnCu and SnCuBi3 respectively to compare against pristine Sn material were also analyzed."
