"Skripsi ini membahas tentang implementasi visi dan misi Kementerian Keuangan ke dalam moto perpustakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan visi dan misi Kementerian Keuangan pada moto Perpustakaan Kementerian Keuangan dengan dengan melihat implementasinya pada koleksi perpustakaan, layanan yang diberikan, dan kegiatan yang diselenggarakan Perpustakaan Kementerian Keuangan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh kecenderungan perpustakaan dalam mengimplementasikan misi ke lima kementerian yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan diri pegawai. Hal ini merupakan suatu strategi awal perpustakaan untuk meningkatkan eksistensinya sebelum menuju pada keempat misi lainnya secara menyeluruh agar perpustakaan dapat bertahan di lingkungan Kementerian Keuangan.

This thesis discusses the implementation of the vision and mission of the Ministry of Finance into moto library. This research aims to identify the implementation of the vision and mission of the Ministry of Finance into the motto of Library of the Ministry of Finance by seeing its implementation in library collections, services which provided, and activities of the Library of Finance Ministry which has already held. The research approach is a qualitative with case study method.

The result of this study is obtained tendency of libraries in implementing the fifth mission of ministries that related to personal development of employees. This is a preliminary strategy to increase its existence of library before strive to the four other missions as a whole so that the library can survive in the Ministry of Finance."

"Mahkamah Agung Indonesia adalah perpustakaan hukum yang melayani pengadilan tertinggi di Indonesia. Keutamaan Mahkamah Agung sebagai peradilan tertinggi dalam empat lingkungan peradilan memiliki implikasi signifikan terhadap tanggung jawab perpustakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan fungsi dan peran Perpustakaan Mahkamah Agung Indonesia dengan berfokus pada kegiatan dan layanannya dan dengan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor politik, ekonomi, sosial dan teknologi dalam lingkungan makronya. Penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan dari pengamatan langsung, wawancara dan analisis dokumen dengan merujuk dan menyesuaikan konsep perencanaan strategis perpustakaan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa Perpustakaan Mahkamah Agung Indonesia terutama melakukan fungsi informasi. Namun demikian, praktik ini dianggap tradisional karena sangat bergantung pada kegiatan teknis seperti pengadaan, penerbitan, pemrosesan, dan penyebaran materi hukum. Layanan dan kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh Perpustakaan Mahkamah Agung Indonesia juga belum dapat menunjukkan kekhasannya sebagai perpustakaan hukum yang melayani badan tertinggi tersebut. Dari empat pernyataan misi Mahkamah Agung Indonesia, ada tiga poin di mana perpustakaan dapat memainkan perannya yaitu pada subjek independensi yudisial, layanan hukum untuk pihak yang berperkara, dan transparansi peradilan. The Indonesian Supreme Court Library is a law library that serves the highest court in Indonesia. The virtue of the Supreme Court as the highest court in the four judicial environments has significant implications for library responsibilities. This study aims to describe the function and role of the Indonesian Supreme Court Library by focusing on its activities and services and by identifying political, economic, social and technological factors in its macro environment. This research is qualitative and uses the case study method. Data is collected from direct observation, interviews and document analysis by referring and adjusting the concept of library strategic planning. The findings show that the Indonesian Supreme Court Library mainly performs the information function. However, this practice is considered traditional because it is very dependent on technical activities such as procurement, publishing, processing, and distribution of legal material. The services and activities carried out by the Indonesian Supreme Court Library have also not been able to show their uniqueness as a legal library serving the highest body. Of the four mission statements of the Indonesian Supreme Court, there are three points on which libraries can play their role, namely on the subject of judicial independence, legal services for litigants, and judicial transparency. However, the role of the library is considered unclear."

"ABSTRACTThe natural disaster is something inevitable and sometimes unpredictable. Disasters bring destructive impacts in all aspects of human live. Not only the enviroment, but also to the human resource itself] the infrastructure and the economic activity within the affected area. There is the need to do the recovery on these sectors to help the victims to gain their nonnal live back. This recovery effort involves many level of different expertise from many different sources.With many entities trying to help working together, there is possibility of conflict to happen. The potential conflicts can prevent the effort to reach its optimum results, make the efforts relief overlapped, sup-par result or possibilities of Wasting the available resources resulting from the conflicts. There are 5 ways of handling conflicts that happens. The methods are avoiding, accommodating, competing, compromising, and collaborating. Is collaboration the ideal way for disaster response on managing the interest of the multi players on the fields and tomake the best use of the resource provided? The study takes 5 major natural disaster for example, which are Aceh earthquake and tsunami, Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, Nargis cyclone in Burma, earthquake in Haiti and tsunami in Japan. Collaboration shows to be the most effective way on relief effort but needs to be adjusted concerning the conditions. It is also important to build sense of ownership amongst the stakeholders, the' policy dissemination and the certain level of flexibility in its implementation, and to enhance good connnunicationflow in the form of collaboration."
