"Since the analytical result of the frictional resistance of a rotating disk has been reported by Kérrnén (l92l), many studies have been done experimentally or analytically on the characteristics of the three-dimensional boundary layer at the disk surface. Frictional resistance of an impeller of a turbo-machinery is calculated by applying that of a rotating disk flow. To improve the performance of a turbo-machinery, attempt was done by applying a drag reduction to the tlow. Thus, the drag reduction phenomena have been studied on a rotating disk in drag reducing additives (Watanabe, K., l978) or a disk with hydrophobic wall (Watanabe, K., and Ogata, S., 1997). However, the drag reducing method reported in the past remains a problem- that the degradation or the durability becomes the iitilure forthe practical application.
In this study, the experiments were carried out the measurement on the frictional moment, velocity fluctuation and protlle and flow visualization of an enclosed rotating disk in order to obtain a new passive drag reduction wall that is excellent in the durability and is practically applicable. An approximation theoretical analysis base on the momentum integral equation -also has been accounted for axial clearance ratio effects for the case of separate boundary layers onthe disk. This theory has been checked against experimental results.
lt is well known that fluid in the boundary layer ata rotating disk surface flow with keeping a flow angle (Gregory, N. et al., 1955); By considering this flow pattern, was made a disk with a new passive drag reduction wall by an etching method. The disk with many fine spiral grooves is made of aluminum. The number of the spiral grooves varying at 120, 144, 150, 155 and 160 with 0.l and 0.2 mm depth each. The clearance between the disk and the housing wall was varied at l, 3, IO, 20 and 30 mm thick.
Experimental result showed that for the close clearance l mm the moment coefficient in the turbulent region in the Reynolds number range of 4x 10" S Re S 6x 10? for the disks of l50 and |55 grooves with 0.1 and 0.2 mm depth, the drag reduction ratio was obtained about 15 %. While for the large clearance 20 mm for the disk of 144,150 and 155 grooves with 0.1mm depth in the Reynolds number range of 3.3 x to? < Re <4.0x105 the drag reduction ratio was obtained about 11 % .
The experimental results of the velocity fluctuation, velocity profile and the flow visualization also add other evidences: the fine spiral grooves control the secondary flow of the boundary layer and have the effect which delays the generation oft he local turbulence in the transition range, and reduce wall skin friction in the turbulent region."

"Supervisor dapat dikatakan sebagai the man in the middle. Supervisor diharapkan mampu menjembatani pihak manajemen dengan tenaga kerja produtif. Pekerjaan supervisor berkaitan erat dengan masalah produktifitas tenaga kerja dan memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kesuksesan suatu proyek. Kompetensi yang dibutuhkan tidak hanya soft skill saja tetapi juga hard skill. Pada penelitian ini, hard skill dikelompokkan menjadi 3 kelompok yaitu kompetensi umum, kompetensi inti dan kompetensi khusus.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi dan regresi diperoleh critical hard skill competence supervisor yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja waktu yaitu kompetensi yang termasuk kelompok kompetensi inti yaitu: (1) Menguasai spesifikasi teknis dan spesifikasi khusus (X8) dan (2) melaksanakan pengukuran berdasarkan prosedur pengukuran volume dan perhitungan pembayaran hasil pekerjaan (X40).

Supervisor called as the man in the middle. Supervisors are expected to bridge the management and the productive labor. Supervisor's jobs are strongly associated with labor productivity and have a significant influence for successful project. Competence is not only soft skill competencies, but also hard skills competence.
This research classifies hard skill competence into three groups: general competencies, core competencies and specialized competencies. Correlation and regression analysis result showed critical hard skills competence of supervisors that have a significant effect on the time performance are core competencies: (1) Have a good knowledge to the technical and special specifications (X8) and (2) carry out measurements based on volume measurement and calculation procedure of payment of work (X40).

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi keberadaan batuan keras serta mengestimasi volumenya untuk menjadi material timbunan dalam perencanaan pembangunan Bendungan Way Sekampung, Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode resistivitas. Pengukuran dilakukan pada 6 lintasan dengan panjang lintasan 235 m dan spasi 5 m menggunakan Konfigurasi Wenner. Metode resistivitas digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis litologi di bawah permukaan. Hasil pengolahan data resistivitas dikorelasikan dengan peta geologi regional, klasifikasi nilai resistivitas batuan, dan data bor. Terdapat beberapa jenis litologi dengan distribusi resistivitas yaitu pada nilai resistivitas 0-80 Ωm diduga sebagai lapisan lempung bercampur tuf dengan nilai Standard Penetration Test (SPT) 0-11, 80-120 Ωm diduga sebagai lapisan batu pasir dengan nilai SPT 12-41, dan pada nilai resistivitas lebih dari 120 Ωm diduga sebagai batuan keras yaitu lapisan sekis. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan metode inversi dua dimensi dan pemodelan tiga dimensi. Berdasarkan hasil interpolasi pemodelan 3-D ditemukan kemenerusan batuan sekis ke arah utara dan selatan daerah penelitian. Potensi cadangan batuan sekis ditemukan menerus pada lintasan 1, 2, 3 dan lintasan 4, 5, 6. Kemenerusan batuan sekis cukup tebal terjadi pada lintasan 4, 5 dan 6. Estimasi volume cadangan batuan sekis pada daerah penelitian yaitu 2.528.111 m3 dengan nilai resistivitas lebih dari 120 Ωm.

This research was conducted to identify the presence of hard rock and estimate its volume to become embankment material in the planning for the construction of the Way Sekampung Dam, Lampung. This study uses the resistivity method. Measurements were made on 6 tracks with a track length of 235 m and a spacing of 5 m using the Wenner Configuration. The resistivity method is used to identify the type of subsurface lithology. The results of resistivity data processing are correlated with regional geological maps, rock resistivity value classification, and drill data. There are several types of lithology with resistivity distribution, namely at a resistivity value of 0 – 80 Ωm it is suspected to be a layer of clay mixed with tuff with a Standard Penetration Test (SPT) value of 0-11, 80-120 Ωm is suspected to be a layer of sandstone with an SPT value of 12-41, and at a resistivity value of more than 120 Ωm it is suspected as a hard rock, namely a layer of schist. Data processing is done by two-dimensional inversion method and three-dimensional modeling. Based on the results of the 3-D modeling interpolation, it was found that there was continuity of schist rocks to the north and south of the study area. The potential for schist rock reserves is continuously found in tracks 1, 2, 3 and 4, 5, 6. Thick schist continuity occurs in lanes 4, 5 and 6. The estimated volume of schist reserves in the study area is 2,528,111 m3 with a value of resistivity of more than 120 Ωm."
