"Praktik kerja profesi apoteker merupakan suatu praktik profesi dimana seorang calon apoteker berkesempatan untuk berpartisipasi langsung untuk melakukan praktik kefarmasian dalam berbagai sarana kefarmasian seperti industri farmasi dan apotek. Melalui praktik kerja profesi apoteker, apoteker dapat menambah wawasan, pengetahuan serta keterampilan dari berbagai sarana kefarmasian sebelum kemudian memasuki dunia kerja. Praktik kerja profesi apoteker dilaksanakan di PT Finusolprima Farma Internasional pada periode januari – Februari 2022 dan Apotek Roxy Poltangan pada periode Maret 2022.  Melalui berbagai pengalaman yang didapat dari praktik kerja profesi ini, calon apoteker  diharapkan mendapatkan bekal yang cukup baik dari pengetahuan, pengalaman dan keterampilan mengenai  peran apoteker diberbagai sarana kefarmasian.

Melalui pelaksanaan praktik kerja profesi apoteker ini, calonapoteker diharapkan untuk mampu memahami kompetensi yang diperlukan,memperoleh wawasan serta mampu mengimplementasikan praktik kerja di bidangkefarmasian.

"Apoteker adalah profesi yang memiliki peranan penting di institusi kefarmasian. Dalam rangka menciptakan tenaga apoteker yang profesional, salah satu hal yang penting untuk dilakukan adalah berpartisipasi secara langsung dalam dunia pekerjaan nyata di institusi kefarmasian, seperti industri farmasi dan apotek. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) diselenggarakan untuk memberikan bekal dan pengalaman bagi calon apoteker untuk menghadapi dunia kerja, sehingga kelak setelah lulus, apoteker mampu bekerja dan melaksanakan perannya dengan baik di institusi kefarmasian yang menjadi tempatnya berkarya. Laporan PKPA ini berisi gambaran pekerjaan yang dilaksanakan di dua sarana kefarmasian, yaitu : PT. Dankos Farma pada periode 11 Januari-5 Maret 2021; dan Apotek Roxy Poltangan pada periode 8 Maret 2021-3 April 2021.

"Profesi apoteker adalah salah satu tenaga kesehatan yang mempunyai peran penting dalam memanjukan kesehatan. Salah satu hal yang harus dilakukan oleh apoteker adalah praktik kefarmasian. Praktik kefarmasian yang dilakukan di Indonesia dapat dilakukan di tiga tempat, yaitu industri farmasi, distributor atau pedagang besar farmasi, dan apotek atau pelayanan kefarmasian seperti puskesmas atau rumah sakit. Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari untuk proses pembelajaran di pedagang besar farmasi, dan tanggal 09 – 31 Mei 2022 di PT. Kreanova Pharmaret (Apotek Roxy) cabang Sawangan untuk proses pembelajaran di apotek. Diharapkan proses pembelajaran ini dapat menjadikan bekal untuk di dunia kerja nantinya.

Thus, a prospective pharmacist is required to improve competence in practicing pharmacy by following the Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA). PKPA is implemented at PT. Harsen Laboratories, on 03 January 2022 – 25 February 2022 for the pharmaceutical industry, then held on 01 – 14 February 2022 at PT. Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari for the learning process at pharmaceutical wholesalers, and on 09 – 31 May 2022 at PT. Kreanova Pharmaret (Apotek Roxy) Sawangan branch for the learning process in pharmacies. It is hoped that this learning process can make provision for the world of work in the future."

Paragon Technology and Innovation pada periode Januari – Maret 2021 yang memiliki fokus pada studi karakterisasi emulsifier pada sedian emulsi water in silicon, dan di Apotek Atrika pada periode Mei 2021. Pengalaman praktik kerja di tempat tersebut diharapkan dapat membantu calon apoteker untuk mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan, wawasan, dan keterampilan untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di kemudian hari.
