"Digitalisasi menawarkan kesempatan yang besar untuk lingkungan bisnis, tak terkecuali untuk perusahaan rintisan (startup). Menanggapi desakan teknologi, banyak perusahaan rintisan yang menggunakan platform digital sebagai strategi bisnis mereka. Namun kenyataannya, banyak perusahaan rintisan yang gugur karena tidak adanya entrepreneurial orientation dan digital platform capability yang sebanding. Selain itu, perusahaan rintisan menghadapi tantangan yang unik karena sumber daya mereka yang terbatas maka perusahaan rintisan harus mampu mengelola hubungan internal dan eksternal mereka sehingga dibutuhkan network capability yang baik. Dalam mengelola hubungan tersebut, perusahaan juga harus mampu mengembangkan pendekatan strategic flexibility mereka. Karena skala perusahaan yang kecil, maka dibutuhkannya kemampuan untuk mengambil tindakan yang fleksibel dan cepat dalam menanggapi perubahan lingkungan. Dengan adanya kapabilitas dan orientasi tersebut diharapkan bahwa perusahaan rintisan dapat meningkatkan startup performance mereka.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh entrepreneurial orientation dan digital platform capability yang dipengaruhi network capability dan strategic flexibility terhadap startup performance. Survey dilakukan terhadap 124 perusahaan rintisan berbasis digital dalam bidang jasa di Indonesia. Selanjutnya hasil survey dianalisis menggunakan structural equation modelling-partial least square (SEM-PLS) untuk menguji hipotesisnya.
Hasilnya, entrepreneurial orientation dan digital platform capability berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap network capability dan tidak langsung terhadap startup performance melalui peran network capability dan strategic performance. Namun berdasarkan penelitian ini bahwa pengaruh network capability terhadap startup performance tidak didukung data

Digitization offers great opportunities for the business environment, and there are no exceptions for startup companies. Responding to the pressure of technology, many startup companies are using digital platforms as their business strategy. However, in reality, many startups fail due to the lack of an entrepreneurial orientation and comparable digital platform capability. In addition, startups face unique challenges because of their limited resources, so startups must be able to manage their internal and external relationships hence good network capability is needed. In managing these relationships, companies must also be able to develop their strategic flexibility approach. Due to the small scale of the company, it requires the ability to take flexible and fast actions in response to environmental changes. With this capability and orientation, it is hoped that startup companies can improve their startup performance.
This study aims to empirically examine the influence of entrepreneurial orientation and digital platform capability that effect network capability and strategic flexibility on startup performance. The survey was conducted on 124 digital-based startups in the service sector in Indonesia. Furthermore, the survey results were analyzed using the structural equation modeling-partial least square (SEM-PLS) to test the hypothesis.
As a result, entrepreneurship orientation and digital platform capabilities have a direct effect on network capabilities and indirectly on startup performance through the role of network capabilities and strategic flexibility. However, based on this research, the effect of network capability on startup performance is not supported by data.

"Pandemi covid-19 membawa dampak negatif bagi populasi startup di Jabodetabek. Pemanfaatan teknologi digital dapat menjadi salah satu peluang bagi startup digital untuk bertahan dan meningkatkan kinerjanya melalui perluasan pasar dan pertumbuhan konsumen. Orientasi kewirausahaan juga terbukti membantu startup mengembangkan model bisnis, menciptakan nilai, dan menigkatkan keunggulan kompetitif, sehingga startup dapat bertahan dalam menghadapi lingkungan bisnis yanng dinamis. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji secara empiris pengaruh kapabilitas platform digital dalam hubungannya dengan kapabilitas jaringan dan orientasi kewirausahaan dalam pencapaian kinerja startup digital. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode purposive sampling dan melakukan survey terhadap 112 startup digital di Jabodetabek menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) untuk menguji hipotesisnya. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa kinerja startup digital dapat dipengaruhi oleh kapabilitas platform digital dan orientasi kewirausahaan. Namun di sisi lain, kapabilitas jaringan tidak mampu mempengaruhi kinerja startup. Hal ini justru bertentangan dengan beberapa penelitian terdahulu tentang hubungan antara kapabilitas jaringan dan Kinerja bisnis. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dengan menguatkan pola hubungan pengaruh langsung kapabilitas platform digital terhadap kinerja startup. Pengaruh langsung tersebut lebih kuat dibandingkan pengaruh tidak langsung melalui orientasi kewirausahaan dalam konteks startup digital. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa digital startup dalam menghadapi ketidakpastian lingkungan akibat covid-19 tetap mampu meningkatkan kinerjanya yang berupa skalabilitas pertumbuhan konsumen dan perluasan pasar dengan memfokuskan strategi pada pengembangan kapabilitas platform digital melalui penguatan infrastruktur TI, kapabilitas TI, serta kapabilitas ekspansi. Kemudian, peran orientasi kewirausahaan dengan proaktif, inovatif, dan berani mengambil risiko terhadap peluang digital juga mampu meningkatkan kinerja digital startup.

The COVID-19 pandemic has harmed the startup population in Greater Jakarta. The use of digital technology can be an opportunity for digital startups to survive and improve their performance through market expansion and consumer growth. Entrepreneurial orientation has also been proven to help startups develop business models, create value, and increase the competitive advantage to survive in the face of a dynamic business environment. The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the influence of digital platform capabilities with network capabilities and entrepreneurial orientation in achieving startup performance. This research is quantitative research with purposive sampling method and surveyed 112 digital startups in Greater Jakarta using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis with Partial Least Square (PLS) method to test the hypothesis. The study results prove that digital platforms and entrepreneurial orientation capabilities can influence startup performance. However, on the other hand, network capabilities are not able to affect startup performance. This case contradicts some previous research on the relationship between network capabilities and business performance. This research provides a theoretical contribution by strengthening the relationship pattern of the direct influence of digital platform capabilities on startup performance. The direct influence is stronger than the indirect influence through entrepreneurial orientation in the context of digital startups. This research proves that in facing environmental uncertainty because of COVID-19, digital startups still can improve their consumer growth scalability and market expansion by focusing their strategy on developing digital platform capabilities by strengthening IT infrastructure and IT capability and expansion capabilities. Then, the role of entrepreneurship orientation by being proactive, innovative, and willing to take risks towards digital opportunities can also improve the digital performance of startups."

"Indonesia adalah pasar terbesar di Asia Pasifik dan mendapat peringkat ketiga di Asia setelah Cina dan India. Lebih dari separuh penduduk Indonesia aktif mengakses jaringan internet setiap hari untuk menikmati layanan beragam, termasuk e-commerce, fintech, dan juga layanan on-demand. Dengan peluang pasar ekonomi digital yang berkembang, Indonesia dalam beberapa tahun terakhir yang terakhir aktif memproduksi startup yang diharapkan akan dibangun ekonomi negara. Namun sebuah startup tidak akan bisa berjalan mulus saat menghadapi suatu masalah, salah satu yang utama adalah keterbatasan pendanaan. Dengan karakteristik startup yang melekat pada sifat kewirausahaan, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui akses pendanaan suatu perusahaan startup dapat dipengaruhi oleh orientasi kewirausahaan dalam perusahaan, Apalagi bagaimana hubungan keduanya jika dimediasi oleh variabel pertumbuhan perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil regresi linier berganda dan regresi logistik biner, dimensi pengambilan risiko dan inovasi dari orientasi kewirausahaan terbukti mempengaruhi akses pendanaan dari modal ventura, dan kepemilikan hubungan menjadi lebih baik jika dimediasi oleh pertumbuhan perusahaan.

Indonesia is the largest market in Asia Pacific and ranked third in Asia after China and India. More than half of Indonesia's population actively accesses the internet network every day to enjoy various services, including e-commerce, fintech, as well as on-demand services. With the opportunity for a growing digital economy market, Indonesia in the last few years has been actively producing startups that the country's economy hopes to build. However, a startup will not run smoothly when faced with a problem, one of the main things is limited funding. With startup characteristics inherent in entrepreneurial traits, this study aims to determine whether access to funding of a startup company can be influenced by entrepreneurial orientation within the company, especially how the relationship between the two is mediated by company growth variables. Based on the results of multiple linear regression and binary logistic regression, the dimensions of risk-taking and innovation from entrepreneurial orientation are proven to affect access to funding from venture capital, and ownership of the relationship is better if it is mediated by company growth."

"Saat ini UKM bersaing dengan percepatan kemajuan teknologi dan pasar, serta inovasi yang semakin menantang. UKM berjuang untuk menerapkan inovasi karena mereka mungkin kurang dalam keterampilan manajerial dan teknis. Namun, mereka dapat menuai hasil yang lebih tinggi jika mereka lebih fleksibel dan cepat menanggapi perubahan lingkungan bisnis yang dinamis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran fleksibilitas strategis dalam hubungan antara orientasi strategis (orientasi kewirausahaan dan orientasi pembelajaran), kapabilitas dinamis, dengan kinerja finansial dan kinerja inovasi UKM pada sektor kreatif Indonesia. Pada penelitian ini, kuesioner disebarkan secara daring kepada 150 UKM sektor kreatif di Pulau Jawa, namun demikian hanya 119 responden yang lolos proses skrining, dan datanya dapat diolah lebih lanjut. Metode pengolahan data yang digunakan untuk mengolah data survei adalah partial-least square structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel fleksibilitas strategis memediasi variabel orientasi kewirausahaan, orientasi pembelajaran, dan kapabilitas dinamis terhadap variabel kinerja finansial dan kinerja inovasi. Serta temuan lain dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel kinerja inovasi dapat memediasi hubungan variabel fleksibilitas strategis dengan kinerja finansial.

Currently, SMEs are competing with accelerated technological and market advances, as well as increasingly challenging innovations. SMEs struggle to implement innovations because they may lack managerial and technical skills. However, they could reap higher returns if they were more flexible and quick to respond to changes in the dynamic business environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role strategic flexibility in the relationship between structured strategy (entrepreneurship orientation and learning orientation), dynamic capabilities, and financial performance and innovation performance of SMEs in Indonesia's creative sector. In this study, questionnaires were distributed online to 150 creative sector SMEs in Java, however, only 119 respondents passed the screening process, and the data can be processed further. The data processing method used to process the survey data is the partial-least square structural equation model (PLS-SEM). The results of the research data analysis show that strategic flexibility mediates the variables of entrepreneurial orientation, learning orientation, and dynamic capabilities on SMEs financial performance and innovation performance. As well as other findings in this study indicate that the innovation performance can mediate the relationship between strategic flexibility and financial performance."

"Indonesia memiliki banyak potensi pasar untuk pengembangan startup. Namun kebanyakan startup umumnya hanya mampu bertahan kurang dari dua tahun. Hal ini karena startup menghadapi banyak ketidakpastian dalam menemukan model bisnisnya. Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi adalah agar model bisnis yang dijalankan selaras dengan capaian product-market fit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis model bisnis startup pelayanan kesehatan hewan agar tercapai model bisnis yang product-market fit. Pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan dalam menganalisis hipotesis model bisnis yang telah dijalankan oleh beberapa startup pada domain bisnis ini. Untuk analisis model bisnis direpresentasikan dalam bentuk hipotesis Business Model Canvas (BMC). Untuk mendapatkan Minimum Viable Product (MVP) yang selaras dengan model bisnis tersebut, digunakan metode Customer Development, sedangkan untuk penentuan prioritas fitur MVP digunakan pendekatan KANO. Responden dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 18 orang pemilik hewan peliharaan dan 3 orang penyedia jasa pelayanan kesehatan hewan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan rekomendasi berupa model bisnis dalam bentuk BMC dan MVP yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar (baseline) dalam membangun sebuah startup pada industri pelayanan kesehatan hewan. Berdasarkan umpan balik dari pengguna, model bisnis ini sejalan dengan tingkat konversi MVP sebesar 95%.

Indonesia has many potential markets for startup development. However, most startups generally only last less than two years. It is because startups face a lot of uncertainty in finding their business model. One of the challenges faced is ensuring that the implemented business model is in line with product-market fit achievements. This study aims to analyze the veterinary service startup business model to achieve a product-market fit business model. The author uses the qualitative approach in analyzing the business model hypotheses run by several startups in this business domain. Business model analysis is represented in the form of a Business Model Canvas (BMC) hypothesis. The author uses the Customer Development method to get the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that is in line with the business model. In contrast, we used the KANO approach to determine the priority of the MVP feature. Respondents in this study consisted of 18 pet owners and three animal health service providers. This research produces recommendations in the form of business models in the form of BMC and MVP that can be used as a baseline in building a startup in the animal health service industry. Based on user feedback, the business model is in line with the MVP conversion rate by 95%.

"Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji peran inovasi model bisnis terhadap kinerja UMKM Apotek di Indonesia, di mana dalamĀ  membentuk inovasi model bisnis yang kuat diperlukan orientasi kewirausahaan, transformasi digital dan fleksibilitas strategis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dari 81 UMKM Apotek di wilayah Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modeling ( SEM ), di mana hasil analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara orientasi kewirausahaan dan transformasi digital terhadap fleksibilitas strategis. Selain itu orientasi kewirausahaan dan fleksibilitas strategis memiliki hubungan positif langsung signifikan terhadap inovasi model bisnis dan inovasi model bisnis memiliki hubungan positif langsung yang signifikan terhadap kinerja. Namun transformasi digital tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan langsung terhadap inovasi model bisnis. Beberapa faktor yang menghambat transformasi digital UMKM Apotek antara lain keterbatasan sumber daya yang di miliki dan ketidak siapan UMKM Apotek dalam merubah inovasi model bisnis ke dalam model digital seutuhnya.

The main objective of this research is to examine the role of business model innovation on the performance of Pharmacy SMEs in Indonesia, where in forming a strong business model innovation requires entrepreneurial orientation, digital transformation and strategic flexibility. This study uses a quantitative and qualitative approach. Data were collected from 81 Pharmacy SMEs in Indonesia. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis, where the results of the analysis show that there is a significant positive relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and digital transformation on strategic flexibility. In addition, entrepreneurial orientation and strategic flexibility have a significant direct positive relationship to business model innovation and business model innovation has a significant direct positive relationship to performance. However, digital transformation does not have a direct significant effect on business model innovation. Several factors that hinder the digital transformation of Pharmacy SMEs include limited resources and the unpreparedness of Pharmacy SMEs in changing business model innovations into a fully digital model."

"Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pengaruh entrepreneurial orientation terhadap kemampuan pembelajaran strategi dan kinerja perusahaan. Penelitian juga menginvestigasi lebih lanjut pengaruh dimensi respon pasar dalam meningkatkan hubungan entrepreneurial orientation terhadap kemampuan pembelajaran strategi dan kinerja perusahaan, termasuk mengkaji dan menguji pengaruh pembelajaran strategi terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Seperti yang telah diungkapkan oleh banyak penelitian, kinerja perusahaan sangat penting untuk bertahan hidup dan pembelajaran strategi sebagai sarana untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan (pesaing, pelanggan, ataupun trend pasar). Menanggapi hal tersebut penelitian ini dilakukan di lingkungan Industri Layanan Komputer dan Peranti Lunak dengan mengambil 126 sampel perusahaan kecil-menengah di Jakarta.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa entrepreneurial orientation secara positif mempengaruhi kemampuan pembelajaran strategi tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Penelitian ini mendukung bahwa entrepreneurial orientation memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kinerja perusahaan, yang dimediasikan oleh dimensi respon pasar tetapi tidak ditemukan bukti empiris bahwa pembelajaran strategi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa perusahaan yang menerapkan enterpreneurial orientation dan responsif terhadap pasar akan dapat terus adaptif dengan lingkungan dan dapat meningkatkan kinerja.

This research mainly investigates the influence of entrepreneurial orientation to firm performance and strategic learning capability. It also further analyzes the impact of market responsiveness to firm's strategic learning capability and performance, and tests whether strategic learning has an impact on performance or not. Previous study argued, that achieving higher performance is needed in order to survive, to generate competitive strategy, and to adapt to surrounding environment (competitors, customers, market trends). This research was carried by using 126 samples of small- to medium-sized firms located in Jakarta, from Computer Services and Software Industry.
The research result shows that entrepreneurial orientation influence significantly to firm's strategic learning capability. It also supports empirically that entrepreneurial orientation is not directly affecting firm performance moreover this research didn't find any empirical evidence that shows whether strategic learning has an impact to firm's performance. This research underlines the importance of market responsiveness in order to enhance entrepreneurial orientation in order to achieve firm performance and strategic learning capability. Furthermore it can be concluded, a firm that implements entrepreneurial orientation and be responsive to market enjoys higher benefit such as be able to survive and to adapt to the fast-changing, unpredictable, and high competitive environment.
