"The Malaysia Ministry of Health reported adolescents’ low utilization of healthcare services, although they need this service as a consequence of their involvement in risky behavior. This cross-sectional study aimed to determine adolescents’ perception on risk-taking behavior and their utilization of health care services. A modified self-administered questionnaire was used to collect data from 250 secondary school students aged 13 and 14 years in one of the selected schools in Malacca, Malaysia. Data were analyzed using SPSS 20. Fast-food consumption, loitering after school, physical fighting, smoking, and non-use of helmets were the most reported risky behaviors among adolescents in Malaysia. More than half of the adolescents who knew about health care services had a positive perception on their utilization of such services. Thus, the promotion of adolescents’ health services helps increase their use of these services and consequently achieve a healthy lifestyle."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pelaksanaan kebijakan Jabatan Fungsional Administrator Kesehatan di lingkungan Kantor Kementerian Kesehatan dengan menggunakan model analisis Edward III. Implementasi kebijakan berjalan baik bila pelaksanaanya telah sesuai dengan peraturannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam pada pelaksana kebijakan Jabatan Fungsional Adminkes di lingkungan Kantor Kemenkes. Informan dipilih berdasarkan purposive sampling.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan belum berjalan dengan baik terkait komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi dan struktur birokrasi. Faktor-faktor yang menghambat implementasinya adalah sosialisasi; penempatan dan kewenangan Adminkes dalam Unit Kerja; dukungan pimpinan; fasilitas; beban kerja Unit Pembina; koordinasi internal di Kemenkes; dan sistem pengarsipan.

This research aimed to analyze the implementation of Health Administrator Functional Position policy at Ministry of Health office using analytical model from Edward III. Implementation of the policy is assumed to be going well when in accordance with the regulations. This research used qualitative method using in-depth interviews to the executive staff implementing the above decrees at the Ministry of Health office.

The results showed that the policy implementation of Health Administrator as Functional Position at the Ministry of Health needs to be improved in terms of communications, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure. Factors that hinder the implementation is socialization; placement and Adminkes authority; leadership support; facilities; workload of Unit Supervisors; internal coordination in the Ministry of Health; and archiving systems."

"Posbindu lansia merupakan pelayanan kesehatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan para lansia. Keterampilan kader merupakan salah satu kunci keberhasilan pelayanan di posbindu lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kader dalam pemanfaatan posbindu lansia. Jenis penelitian yaitu deskriptif analitik dengan metode kualitatif. Informan utama adalah 17 orang kader dan informan kunci yang terdiri dari 1 orang Kepala Puskesmas Bantargebang Bekasi, 1 orang Pemegang Program Lansia, dan 3 orang Lansia yang memanfaatkan posbindu lansia di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bantargebang Bekasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kader belum berperan besar dalam pemanfaatan posbindu lansia di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bantargebang sehingga diperlukan adanya upaya pelatihan dan pembinaan untuk petugas kesehatan dan kader posbindu lansia, serta sosialisasi kepada seluruh sasaran posbindu lansia. Penyediaan fasilitas posbindu lansia yang lengkap diharapkan dapat memaksimalkan peran kader dalam usaha pemanfaatan posbindu lansia. Komunikasi sesama kader juga harus dibangun agar mereka dapat bertukar informasi dan pengalaman mengenai peran mereka dalam pemanfaatan posbindu lansia.

Elderly's integrated health care is health services which aims to improve the health status of the elderly. Skills of cadres is one of the keys to success in elderly's integrated health care. This study aims to analyze the role of cadres in the use elderly's integrated health care. This research is descriptive analytic with qualitative method. The main informants were 17 cadres and key informants consisting of 1 chief of Bantargebang Public Health Care Bekasi, 1 holder of elderly programs, and 3 elderly peoples who utilize elderly's integrated health care in Bantargebang Public Health Care Bekasi working area.

The results showed that the cadres have not played a major role in the utilization of elderly's integrated health care in Bantargebang Public Health Care Bekasi working area thus efforts are required in training and coaching for health workers and cadres elderly's integrated health care, and socialization to all elderly's integrated health care target. Provision of complete elderly's integrated health care facilities is expected to maximize the role of cadres in the utilization of it. Communication fellow cadres should also be constructed so that they can exchange information and experiences regarding their role in the utilization of elderly's integrated health care."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemanfaatan program pelayanan rujuk balik pada peserta di PT Askes (Persero) Kantor Cabang Utama Jakarta Selatan tahun 2012 dengan menggunakan desain studi cross sectional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner via telepon. Tingkat partisipasi responden dalam penelitian ini sebesar 72,4%. Dukungan dokter dan dukungan keluarga mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan pemanfaatan program pelayanan rujuk balik, masing-masing dengan besar p value 0,016 dan 0,011. Variabel karakteristik, jarak tempuh dan waktu tempuh ke PPK tingkat pertama serta dukungan PT Askes (Persero) dan dukungan teman tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan dalam pemanfaatan program pelayanan rujuk balik.

The purpose of this study is to examine factors associated with the utilization of specialist referral to primary health care program to the participants of PT Askes (Persero) Main Branch Office, South Jakarta, 2012 by using cross sectional method. Data was collected by phone interview supported by structured questionnaire. The participants rate of respondents is 72,4%. Physician and family support has significant relationship with the utilization of specialist referral to primary health care program, each with p value 0,016 and 0,011. Characteristics, distance and time to the primary health care, and support of PT Askes (Persero) and peer variables have no significant relationship in the utilization of specialist referral to primary health care program."
