Apoteker harus memenuhi standar kompetensi sebagai persyaratan untuk memasuki dunia kerja dan menjalani praktik profesi. Standar kompetensi apoteker Indonesia terdiri dari sepuluh (10) standar kompetensi sebagai kemampuan yang diharapkan oleh apoteker setelah lulus dan masuk ke tempat praktik kerja profesi. Sebagai bekal dan pengalaman calon apoteker untuk dapat memahami peran apoteker dan meningkatkan kompetensi, maka dilaksanakan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker di Balai Besar Pengawas Obat dan Makanan, Apotek Kimia Farma dan PT. SOHO Industri Pharmasi selama periode bulan Februari-Agustus 2020. Selama PKPA, diharapkan calon apoteker dapat memperluas wawasan, pemahaman dan pengalaman untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di tempat praktik kerja profesi.

As a provision and experience of prospective pharmacists to be able to understand the role of pharmacists and improve competence, a Professional Work Practice of Pharmacists was carried out at Balai Besar Pengawas Obat dan Makanan, Kimia Farma Pharmacy and PT. SOHO Industri Pharmasi during the period February-August 2020. During PKPA, it is hoped that prospective pharmacists can broaden their horizons, understanding and experience to do pharmaceutical work in professional work practices."

"Apoteker memiliki peran penting di apotek, rumah sakit, distributor farmasi, industri farmasi, dan pemerintahan. Sebelum memasuki dunia kerja dan menjalani praktik profesi, apoteker diharuskan untuk dapat memenuhi standar kompetensi apoteker Indonesia yang terdiri dari sepuluh standar kompetensi. Standar kompetensi tersebut merupakan kemampuan yang diharapkan dimiliki oleh seorang apoteker saat lulus dan masuk ke tempat praktik kerja profesi. Selain ilmu yang cukup, seorang calon apoteker juga diharapkan memiliki bekal berupa pengalaman dalam menjalankan praktik profesi apoteker, oleh karena itu dilaksanakanlah Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi, PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari, dan Apotek Kimia Farma No. 510 Lenteng Agung selama periode Bulan Februari – Agustus 2020. Setelah PKPA dilaksanakan, diharapkan calon apoteker dapat memperluas wawasan dan pemahaman terkait praktik profesi apoteker di berbagai instansi seperti industri farmasi, distributor farmasi, dan apotek.

Pharmacist have an important role in pharmacy, hospital, pharmaceutical distributors, pharmaceutical industry, and government. Before entering the work life and undergoing professional practice, pharmacist is required to have the competency standards of Indonesian pharmacist which consist of ten competency standards. This competency standard is the ability that is expected to have by a pharmacist when graduates and enters a professional work practice. Besides sufficient knowledge, a pharmacist candidate is also expected to have experience in practicing the pharmacist profession, therefore the Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) is carried out at PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi, PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari, and Apotek Kimia Farma No. 510 Lenteng Agung during the period of February – August 2020. After PKPA, it is hoped that pharmacist candidates will get a knowledge of the pharmacist’s professional practice in various institution such as pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical distributor, and pharmacy."

As a provision and experience of prospective pharmacists to understand their role and improve their competence, on this occasion, the authors had the opportunity to participate in the Pharmacist Professional Work Practices (PKPA) at PT. Enseval Putera Megatrading, Tbk., Apotek Hidup Baru and PT. Soho Industri Pharmasi during the period  of February to August 2020. During this PKPA, it is hoped that prospective pharmacists can broaden their horizons, understanding, and experience to do pharmaceutical work in the professional practice later."

"Setiap PBF yang ada di Indonesia wajib menerapkan CDOB untuk menjamin mutu dan stabilitas sediaan farmasi yang didistribusikannya. Salah satu aspek CDOB yang wajib diterapkan adalah inspeksi diri. Inspeksi diri bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kelebihan dan kekurangan di dalam pelaksanaan CDOB dalam rangka perbaikan berkesinambungan. Inspeksi diri harus dilaksanakan dalam rangka memantau kepatuhan fasilitas distribusi terhadap pemenuhan CDOB serta untuk mengetahui langkah perbaikan apa yang harus diambil apabila ditemukan penyimpangan. Inspeksi diri dilaksanakan di semua bagian fasilitas distribusi, baik secara independen maupun dengan audit eksternal yang dilakukan oleh ahli independen. Dari pengamatan yang dilakukan, hasil inspeksi diri terhadap penerapan CDOB di PT. KFTD Cabang Bogor sudah cukup baik walaupun terdapat beberapa aspek CDOB yang tidak sesuai dan segera membutuhkan tindakan perbaikan untuk memaksimalkan pelayanan distribusi

Every PBF in Indonesia is required to apply CDOB to ensure the quality and stability of the pharmaceutical preparations it distributes. One aspect of the CDOB that must be implemented is self-inspection. Self-inspection aims to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the CDOB implementation in the context of continuous improvement. Self-inspection must be carried out in order to monitor the compliance of distribution facilities with CDOB compliance and to find out what corrective steps should be taken if deviations are found. Self-inspections are carried out in all parts of the distribution facility, either independently or by external audits conducted by independent experts. From the observations made, the results of selfinspection of the implementation of CDOB at PT. KFTD Bogor Branch is good enough, although there are several aspects of CDOB that are not suitable and require immediate corrective action to maximize distribution services."

Seorang profesi apoteker perlu menguasai standar kompetensi apoteker dalam melakukan praktik kefarmasian sesuai dengan kompetensi profesi. Standar kompetensi apoteker Indonesia terdiri dari sepuluh (10) standar kompetensi yang merupakan persyaratan untuk memasuki dunia kerja dan menjalani praktik profesi. Sebagai calon apoteker, pentingnya membekali mahasiswa dengan pengetahuan dan kemampuan tentang peran, fungsi dan tanggung jawab apoteker melalui Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA). PKPA dilaksananan di Apotek Kimia Farma Condet, Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan, dan Rumah Sakit Pusat Otak Nasional selama periode bulan Februari-Agustus 2020. Dengan dilaksanakannya PKPA, seorang calon apoteker diharapkan memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan dan pengalaman untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian sehingga menjadi siap untuk memasuki dunia kerja sebagai tenaga farmasi yang professional.

Pharmacists work in diverse roles and practice settings. Pharmacy practice includes pharmaceutical work in the procurement, production, distribution of pharmaceutical preparations and and pharmaceutical care. A pharmacist is expected to master pharmacy standard competency to maintain and practice within the limits of professional competence. There are 10 elements of pharmacy competency standards which need to be attained by an individual to practise effectively as a pharmacist. It is important to equip students with knowledge and abilities about the roles and responsibilities of pharmacists in the real field through an internship program. Intership program was implemented in Apotek Kimia Farma Condet, Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan, and Rumah Sakit Pusat Otak Nasional during February-August 2020. A future pharmacist is expected to have the insight, knowledge, skills and experience through the internship program in order to be become a professional in the pharmacy practice"

Pharmacist bears important roles in Pharmaceutical Industries and Pharmacy. A pharmacist needs to fulfil the competency standards as a requirement to work and do the pharmacy practice. As a preparation and to gainsome experiences, a soon-to-be pharmacist needs to understand the role of pharmacists and improve the competency, therefore, an internship at Balai Besar Pengawas Obat dan Makanan di Jakarta, Apotek Atrika and PT Harsen Laboratories was carried out from February until August 2020. In this internship period, it is hoped that pharmacist could obtain appropriate insights, knowledge and experience to do pharmacy practice in professional workplace."

"Apoteker merupakan profesi yang memegang peran penting di institusi kefarmasian. Demi terwujudnya seorang apoteker yang profesional dalam melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian, salah satu hal yang penting untuk dilakukan adalah berpartisipasi secara langsung dalam melakukan peran kefarmasian di institusi kefarmasian, seperti apotek dan industri farmasi sehingga calon apoteker dituntut untuk menjalani praktik profesi. Praktik profesi dilakukan sebagai bekal dan pengalaman calon apoteker untuk memahami dan mendapat gambaran mengenai peran apoteker di dunia kerja.. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di Apotek Kimia Farma selama periode Februari 2020 dan PT Bayer – Cimanggis Plant selama periode Juli – Agustus 2020. Industri farmasi dan apotek tersebut dapat menjadi wadah bagi seorang calon apoteker untuk mengasah keterampilan kefarmasian. Calon apoteker diharapkan selama menjalani praktik kerja menambah pengetahuan, wawasan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman.
