"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai strategi militer Korea Selatan di masa pemerintahan Presiden Kim Dae Jung yang diljelaskan melalui analisis geopolitik dan geostrategi dengan studi kasus insiden Laut Barat pada tahun 1999. Penelitian ini memakai metode penelitian Kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi militer Korea Selatan dalam studi kasus yang diambil. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi militer Korea Selatan dipengaruhi oleh geopolitik dan geostragi yang memperhitungkan pentingnya wilayah perbatasan (Laut Barat) dan penentuan garis batas (Northern Limit Line/NLL). Dalam hal ini meskipun Korea Selatan di masa pemerintahan Kim Dae Jung sedang dalam usaha berdamai dengan Korea Utara, namun pelanggaran perbatasan oleh Korea Utara akan tetap mendapatkan perlawanan dari militer Korea Selatan.

This study discusses the strategy of the South Korean military in the government of President Kim Dae Jung described through geopolitical and geostrategic analysis with case studies of the West Sea incident in 1999. This study used qualitative research methods in order to describe South Korea's military strategy in the case studies which taken. Results of this study showed that the South Korean military strategy was influenced by geopolitical and geostrategic which takes into account the importance of the border region (West Sea) and the determination of the boundary line (Northern Limit Line/NLL). In this case even though South Korea in the Kim Dae Jung government was attempting peace with North Korea, but the border violations by North Korea would still get resistance from the South Korean military."

"Since the formal opening of the Border Crossing Inspection Posts (Pos Pemeriksaan Lintas Batas-PPLB) in Entikong West Kalimantan and Tebedu Sarawak, mobility of people and goods between West Kalimantan and Sarawak has increased significantly. This paper discusses the nature of mobility of goods and people between the two neighboring regions. Mobility of cars and labour is also discussed since mobility of cars affects mobility of people and goods while mobility of labour is an important part of mobility of people. The data show that the number of goods and people, which are out from the Entikong Post, is always greater than the number of goods and people, which enters to the Entikong Post. It is finally predicted, that economic benefits gained by West Kalimantan due to the Entikong Post, will be difficult to sustain in the future era of free trade. Especially if the government at the border districts does not enhance the capability of people to compete with foreign labour as well as foreign products"

"Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif dan eksplanatori berfokus pada kemiskinan di perbatasan Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Dengan mcnggunakan data primer dan data sekunder di tiga lokasi penelitian (Sajingan Besar, Kartiasa dan Biawak-Malaysia) maka pennasalahan untuk mengetahui bagaimana karakteristik kemiskinan rumah tangga dan komtmitas di Kabupaten Sambas dapat diketahui, dimana pada kemiskinan rumah tangga daerah non perbatasan (Kartiasa) lebih miskin sedangkan dari sisi kerniskinan kommmitas daerah perbatasan (Sajingan Besar) iebih miskin. Dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemiskinan di provinsi Kalimantan Barat digunakanlah data seku.nder dari berbagai terbitan BPS dan Pernerintah Daerah Provinsi Kalimantan Barat sehingga menjadi sebuah model regresi data panel yang diolah menggunakan software eviews 4.1. PDRB perkapita, angka harapan hidup, inflasi, listrik mempakan faktor yang mempengamhi kcmiskinan di provinsi Kalimantan Barat dimana kabupaten perbatasan lebih miskin dari pada kabupaten / kota non perbatasan. This research utilized descriptive and explanatory analysis focusing at poverty in border area of West Kalimantan Province. In order to have a comprehensive perspective on poverty at community and household level, the study examined primary and secondary data in three fields of study (Sajingan Besar, Kartiasa and Biawak-Malaysia), where household poverty in non border area (Kartiasa) is poorer rather than other. While in temms of community poverty, Sajingan Besar experienced the worst condition. To know the factors influencing poverty in West Kalimantan province used by secondary data from BPS and Local Govcmmcnt of West Kalimantan Province published become a model of panel data regression processed use the software eviews 4.1. PDRB per capita, a spark of life number, inflation, electricity represent the factor influencing poverty in West Kalimantan province where the border area is poorer than non border area. As recommendation li'om this research result is govemment and stakeholder should apply the different pattern between border area and non border area in order to reduce comprehensive poverty."

"Sun Wukong-孙悟空 adalah tokoh utama dalam novel klasik Cina abad ke-16 berjudul Kisah Perjalanan ke Barat- Xīyóu jì 西游记. Sun Wukong semakin populer sejak kemunculannya pada tahun 1926 dalam film-film adaptasi perjalanan ke barat. Disertasi ini menganalisis sosok Sun Wukong sebagai representasi ideologi Impian Cina. Korpus yang digunakan adalah penokohan Sun Wukong dalam tujuh film adaptasi perjalanan ke barat yang dirilis pada periode 2013 hingga 2018, dengan box office rate di atas US$ 100 juta. Analisis dibagi kedalam tiga bagian, konteks, korpus, dan ideologi. Konsep dan teori adaptasi digunakan untuk melihat mitologisasi monyet Sun Wukong sejak era klasik hingga diadaptasi dalam film masa kini sebagai konteks. Analisis korpus secara naratif dan sinematik dilakukan menggunakan skema monomyth hero’s journey dari Joseph Campbell (2010), dan visual penokohan berdasarkan Fictional and dramatic elements dari Dennis W. Petrie dan Joseph M. Boggs (2012). Rekontekstualisasi Sun Wukong sebagai ekspresi diskursif dan reproduksi ideologi, dilakukan dengan cara mengkritisi penempatannya dalam film sebagai bentuk ideologi Impian Cina yang relevan dengan konteks zaman. Disertasi ini membaca Impian Cina sebagai ideologi berdasarkan definisi yang dijelaskan oleh Terry Eagleton (1991) dan Teun A. van Dijk (1998), ideologi sebagai seperangkat gagasan dan keyakinan yang menentukan praktik sosial masyarakat. Konsep Impian Cina memperlihatkan impian bangsa Cina tentang kondisi kehidupan material dan spiritual yang lebih baik. Konsepsi Impian Cina pada era Xi Jinping melebur bersama ideologi negara dalam wacana Chinese Dream-Zhōngguó mèng中国梦, membentuk wacana besar yang berkarakteristik Cina. Secara epistemologi dan ontologi, kerangka teori dan metodologi yang digunakan disertasi ini, menghadirkan kebaruan dalam pembacaan sistematis dan kritis tentang sosok Sun Wukong terkait dengan ideologi Impian Cina. Disertasi ini memperlihatkan transformasi ketiga sosok monyet SWK, yaitu ‘from hero to superhero,’ dan relevansinya dengan konteks Cina kontemporer, khususnya era Xi Jinping. Sun Wukong-孙悟空 is the main character in Wu Cheng'en's 16th-century Chinese classic novel, Journey to the West- Xīyóu jì 西游记. Sun Wukong has been popular since in 1926 in the film adaptation of journey to the west. This dissertation analyzes the figure of Sun Wukong as a representation of the Chinese Dream ideology. The corpus is the characterization of Sun Wukong in seven film adaptations of the journey to the west which were released in the period 2013 to 2018 and hit a box office rate of over US$ 100 million. The analysis is divided into three parts, context, corpus, and ideology. The concept and theory of adaptation are used to look at the mythologization of the monkey Sun Wukong from the classical era to being adapted in nowadays films as a context. Narrative and cinematic aspects are analyzed using the monomyth hero's journey scheme by Joseph Campbell (2010), and visual characterizations based on Fictional and dramatic elements by Dennis W. Petrie and Joseph M. Boggs (2012). The recontextualization of Sun Wukong as a discursive expression and reproduction of ideology is analyzed by criticizing his placement in the film as a form of Chinese Dream ideology that is relevant to the current context. This dissertation reads the Chinese Dream as an ideology based on the definition explained by Terry Eagleton (1991) and Teun A. van Dijk (1998), ideology is a set of ideas and beliefs that determine people's social practices. The concept of the Chinese Dream shows the Chinese people's dream of better material and spiritual living conditions. The conception of the Chinese Dream in the Xi Jinping era merged with the state ideology in the discourse of the Chinese Dream-Zhōngguó mèng中国梦, forming an extensive discourse with Chinese characteristics. Epistemologically and ontologically, the theoretical framework and methodology present a novelty in a systematic and critical reading of the figure of Sun Wukong in relation to the ideology of the Chinese Dream. This dissertation shows the third transformation of Sun Wukong monkey figures, 'from hero to superhero,' and his relevance to the contemporary Chinese context, particularly the Xi Jinping era."

"Indonesia dan Malaysia melakukan kesepakatan yang dinamakan kesepakatan Sosial Ekonomi Malaysia-Indonesia (Sosek Malindo) yang dibuat secara tertulis dan diatur oleh hukum yang diakui oleh kedua negara tersebut. Kementerian Keuangan mengeluarkan Peraturan Menteri Keuangan Nomor 188/PMK.04/2010 Tentang Impor Barang yang Dibawa Oleh Penumpang, Awak Sarana, Pengangkut, Pelintas Batas, dan Barang Kiriman. Pada Pasal 19 Ayat 1 disebutkan bahwa Setiap Pelintas Batas yang membawa barang impor, wajib memiliki KILB. KILB adalah Kartu Identitas Lintas Batas yang dikeluarkan oleh Kantor Pabean yang membawahi Pos Pemeriksaan Lintas Batas yang diberikan kepada Pelintas Batas setelah dipenuhi persyaratan tertentu. Berdasarkan peraturan mengenai pembebasan membayar bea dan cukai berdasarkan Border Trade Agreement yang dibatasi hingga 600 RM yang diberlakukan bagi masyarakat perbatasan, menimbulkan berbagai dampak yang secara tidak langsung dirasakan, yaitu hilangnya rasa nasionalisme sebagai warga negara karena kurangnya perhatian dari pemerintah dan KILB juga dimanfaatkan oleh pihak tertentu yang disebut “tengkulak” untuk memasukkan barang dari Malaysia dalam jumlah besar dan kemudian dijual kembali di wilayah perbatasan tanpa dikenai pajak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum, yakni suatu kegiatan ilmiah yang didasarkan pada metode, sistematika, dan kegiatan pemikiran tertentu yang bertujuan untuk mempelajari satu atau beberapa gejala hukum tertentu kemudian melakukan analisa maupun pemeriksaan yang mendalam terhadap fakta hukum. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terlihat bahwa pelanggaran KILB masih kerap terjadi pada wilayah perbatasan dan rasa cinta terhadap produk negara tetangga masih sangat tinggi. Pemerintah diharapkan hadir secara optimal dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan masyarakat perbatasan, agar penyalahgunaan menggunakan KILB secara ilegal, dapat teratasi dan membantu perekonomian negara dengan lebih banyak ekspor daripada impor.

Both Indonesia and Malaysia had agreed to the Malaysia-Indonesia Socio-Economic Agreement (Sosek Malindo). The agreement is applied by The Ministry of Finance of Indonesia in Peraturan Menteri Keuangan Nomor 188/PMK.04/2010, concerning the Imported Goods Carried by Passengers, Crews of Facilities, Carriers, Border Crossers, and Shipments. Article 19 Section 1 states that every Border Crosser who carries imported goods is required to have a Cross-Border Identity Card (Kartu Identitas Lintas Batas, KILB) issued by the Customs Office in charge of the Cross-Border Checkpoint which is given to the Border Crosser after meeting certain requirements. The regulation regarding the exemption from paying customs and excise based on the Border Trade Agreement which is limited to 600 RM which is applied to border communities, causes various indirect impacts, namely reduced nationalism due to lack of government attention. KILB is also exploited by other parties, so-called “middlemen” (tengkulak) to import goods from Malaysia in large quantities and resell them in border areas without being taxed. This is a legal research, which is a scientific activity based on certain methods, systematics, and thought activities aimed at studying certain legal phenomena and then conducting in-depth analysis as well as examination of legal facts. It is found that KILB violations still occur in border areas. Therefore, the preference for the products of neighboring countries is still high. The government is expected to fulfill the needs of border citizen, so that the abuse of KILB can be stopped and help the country's economy by exporting more than importing."
