"Since its release in 2018, Black Panther has been receiving a positive audience response, especially in America and Africa, as it is considered to be an important breakthrough in Hollywood films. This is possible as the film does not only serve as an entertaining Black superhero film, but it also shows positive African and African Diasporas’ cultural representations. Through the fictional nation of Wakanda, Black Panther reimagines an African nation that never suffers from colonialism and developed to its fullest potential with the help of the fictional meteorite vibranium and by isolating itself from other nations. The citizens of Wakanda use futuristic technological instruments while still maintaining their traditional cultures and ancestral beliefs. Furthermore, the film also discusses African American political social issues and concepts, such as Revolutionary Black Nationalism, which was popularized by the Black Panther Party, and Marcus Garvey’s vision of Pan-Africanism. Therefore, this research analyses the cinematic elements of Black Panther to explore how the film serves as a criticism of the Black Panther Party’s Revolutionary Black Nationalism and Marcus Garvey’s Pan-Africanism. Moreover, this research also discusses how Black Panther represents an important breakthrough in the representation of Africans and African Americans in Hollywood films. The findings presented in this research suggest that Black Panther portrays and criticises the Black Panther Party’s Revolutionary Black Nationalism by using Killmonger as an allusion, and Wakanda is used as an allusion of Marcus Garvey’s idea of Pan-Africanism.

Sejak dirilis pada tahun 2018, film Black Panther terus mendapatkan respons positif dari audiens, terutama di Amerika Serikat dan Afrika, karena film ini dianggap sebagai sebuah terobosan penting dalam perfilman Hollywood. Hal ini dapat terjadi karena film ini tidak hanya sebuah film superhero berkulit hitam yang menghibur, namun juga menggambarkan representasi budaya Afrika dan Diaspora Afrika yang positif. Melalui negara fiksi bernama Wakanda, Black Panther membayangkan kembali sebuah bangsa Afrika yang tidak pernah menderita karena kolonialisme dan berkembang sampai potensi maksimumnya dengan bantuan meteorit fiksi bernama vibranium, dan mengisolasi bangsanya dari negara-negara lain. Masyarakat Wakanda menggunakan peralatan tekonologi futuristis, namun masih melestarikan budaya tradisional dan kepercayaan leluhur. Selain itu, film ini juga membahas isu politik dan konsep Afrika Amerika, seperti Nasionalisme Kulit Hitam Revolusioner yang dipopulerkan oleh Black Panther Party, dan impian Pan-Afrikanisme Marcus Garvey. Karena itu, penelitian ini menganalisis unsur-unsur film pada film Black Panther untuk melihat bagaimana film ini digunakan untuk mengkritik Nasionalisme Kulit Hitam Revolusioner Black Panther Party dan Pan-Afrikanisme Marcus Garvey. Kemudian, penelitian ini juga membahas bagaimana film Black Panther merepresentasikan terobosan penting dalam representasi orang Afrika dan Afrika Amerika dalam film-film Hollywood. Temuan yang disajikan dalam penelitian ini menemukan bahwa film Black Panther menggambar dan mengkritik Nasionalisme Kulit Hitam Revolusioner dengan menggunakan karakter Killmonger sebagai kiasan, dan Wakanda adalah kiasan untuk impian Pan-Afrikanisme Marcus Garvey."

"Tesis ini mencoba menganalisis penyelenggaraan pengamanan unjuk rasa buruh di wilayah hukum Polresta Bekasi yang menutup jalan tol Cikampek. Penutupan jalan tol yang dilakukan oleh buruh mengakibatkan banyak kerugian yang dialami oleh masyarakat pengguna jalan tol ini serta pihak perusahaan yang menggunakan fasilitas ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi partisipasi aktif, wawancara mendalam, studi dokumen dan trianggulasi. Kasus yang diteliti adalah penyelenggaraan pengamanan unjuk rasa buruh yang gagal dilaksanakan oleh Polresta Bekasi dan mengakibatkan buruh dapat menutup jalan tol Cikampek. Penelitian menunjukan bahwa buruh menutup jalan tol akibat gagal runding dalam penetapan upah minimum kabupaten dan Apindo Kabupaten Bekasi menggugat ke PTUN. Dewan Pimpinan Apindo Kabupaten Bekasi melakukan gugatan terhadap keputusan Gubernur Jawa Barat. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kegagalan ini adalah pertama, personil Polresta Bekasi yang masih kurang paham hukum ketenagakerjaan sehingga takut mengambil risiko dan takut bermasalah. Kedua, serikat pekerja memanfaatkan kelemahan pengawas ketenegakerjaan dan kelemahan Polresta Bekasi. Ketiga, masyarakat dengan adanya aksi perlawanan yang dapat menyebabkan konflik dengan buruh. Keempat, pengusaha dengan kelalaiannya melalukan pembinaan kepada pekerja dan serikat pekerjanya. Kelima, penyelesaian permasalahan industrial di Kabupaten Bekasi yang tidak dapat terselesaikan dengan baik akibat kurangnya pengawas tenaga kerja. Penyelenggaraan pengamanan unjuk rasa yang ideal dengan mengetahui fenomena sebenarnya dibalik unjuk rasa yang terjadi bahwa selama ini seringnya terjadi unjuk rasa dikarenakan adanya oknum serikat pekerja yang mencari keuntungan dengan memperoleh success fee serta pengambil alihan kekuasaan. Upaya yang paling tepat adalah mengaplikasikan tindakan preemtif melalui kegiatan pemolisian masyarakat secara aktif dan berkesinambungan.

This thesis tries to analyze the organization of labor protests in securing jurisdiction Bekasi Police shut Cikampek toll road. Highway closures made by the workers resulted in many losses experienced by the users of this highway as well as the companies that use this facility. This study used a qualitative approach to data collection techniques using observation of active participation, in-depth interviews, document studies and triangulation. Cases studied is organizing labor protests security has not carried out by the Bekasi Police and resulted in labor can occlude Cikampek. Research shows that workers closed the highway for failing negotiator in the minimum wage and Apindo Bekasi district sued to the administrative court. Leadership Council Apindo Bekasi suing West Java Governor's decision. Factors affecting this is the first failure, internal Bekasi Police still do not understand employment law so afraid to take the risk and fear of troubled. Second, take advantage of the weakness of trade unions labor inspectors and Bekasi Police weaknesses. Third, the public with an insurgency that could lead to conflict with workers. Fourth, employers with guidance to workers pass negligence and workers unions. Fifth, the settlement of industrial problems in Bekasi that can not be resolved properly due to lack of labor inspectors. Operation of security ideal demonstration by knowing the actual phenomena that occur behind the protests that during these frequent rallies due rogue unions that seek profits by obtaining the success fee as well as the takeover of power. "ABSTRAKDalam satu dasawarsa ke belakang, masyarakat telah menyaksikan berbagai konflik kekerasan terjadi di sejumlah wilayah di Indonesia. Jenisnya bermacam-macam diantaranya ketidakadilan pembagian hasil sumber daya alam dan tidak adanya sosialisasi kepada masyarakat.Tujuan penelitian dalam tesis ini untuk mengambil nilai-nilai dari peristiwa konflik yang terjadi di Kabupaten Bima untuk dijadikan pembelajaran dalam penanganan konflik di Indonesia khususnya yang diakibatkan oleh kegiatan pertambangan di lahan masyarakat.Penelitian tesis ke Kabupaten Bima, Provinsi NTB ini juga untuk meninjau dan menggali permasalahan secara langsung kondisi masyarakat pasca terjadinya bentrokan berdarah. Dikeluarkannya SK penambangan di Bima melahirkan konflik yang bersifat vertikal dan horizontal yang penyelesaian permasalahannya bisa dilakukan dengan mengacu kepada UU No 7 Tahun 2012 tentang Penanganan Konflik Sosial.

The purpose of this research is to take values from the conflict events that occurred in the Bima district to be learning as a conflict solutions in Indonesia. Especially those caused by mining activities.Research concentration in the thesis is Bima DistrictWest Nusa Tenggara Province and also to review and explore issues directly to the community after bloody clashes. Mining permit in Bima caused vertical and horizontal conflict between community and Government. The resolution of the problem can be made referring to the Law Number 7 / 2012 about social conflict resolution."

"Unjuk rasa dalam menolak rancangan Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana dan revisi Undang-Undang Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi merupakan unjuk rasa yang terjadi pada tahun 2019 yang diikuti oleh ribuan mahasiswa di Indonesia. Dalam unjuk rasa tersebut, banyak mahasiswa yang mengalami luka hingga meninggal dunia akibat bentrok dengan aparat kepolisian. Tulisan ini berfokus pada visualisasi kekerasan yang dilakukan polisi terhadap mahasiswa dalam melakukan pemolisian unjuk rasa. Penulis menggunakan teori kekerasan kolektif yang akan menjadi landasan untuk menganalisis 32 gambar yang ada pada temuan data terkait kekerasan polisi dalam unjuk rasa tahun 2019. Hasilnya didapati bahwa kekerasan dan tindakan represif aparat kepolisian tervisualkan dalam gambar-gambar tersebut. Tindakan tersebut merupakan pelanggaran terhadap hak asasi manusia dan bertentangan dengan prinsip demokrasi yang dianut oleh negara Indonesia.

The protest against the Criminal Code draft and the revision of the Corruption Eradication Commission Law was a protest that took place in 2019, which was attended by thousands of students in Indonesia. During the protest, many students were injured and died due to clashes with the police. This paper focuses on the visualization of violence perpetrated by police against students in policing demonstrations. The author uses collective violence theory, which will be the basis for analyzing 32 images in the data findings related to police violence in the 2019 protest. The results show that violence and repressive actions by the police apparatus are visualized in these pictures. This act constitutes a violation of human rights and is against the principles of democracy adhered to by the Indonesian state."

"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai kegiatan evaluasi terhadap sitem temu kembali pada OPAC di Perpustakaan Kementerian Perdagangan RI. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat keefektifan kinerja GLiS sebagai sarana temu kembali informasi perpustakaan Kementerian Perdagangan RI. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menghitung nilai recall dan precision dan respon waktu. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini yaitu studi pustaka dan wawancara yang hanya sebagai pendukung observasi. Penelitian ini sebelumnya belum pernah dilaksanakan di perpustakaan tersebut. Maka dari itu perlu adanya penilaian terhadap efektivitas sistem temu kembali supaya kita mengetahui seberapa baik sistem temu kembali informasi OPAC di Perpustakaan Kementerian Perdagangan RI dalam memenuhi tujuannya. Adapun hambatan yang ditemukan dalam penilaian recall dan precision dikarenakan oleh beberapa faktor yakni tidak sesuainya subjek yang digunakan oleh penggua dalam pencarian dengan subjek yang diinput dan pengguna belum sepenuhnya memahami aplikasi sistem temu kembali yang digunakan.

This research discusses an activity of evaluation retrieval system of OPAC at Ministry of Trade of RI Library. The purpose of this research is to identify the level of effectiveness of GLIS performance as a means of retrieval of the ministry of trade of RI library information. This research is quantitative research by calculating the value of recall, precision, and response time. The method of this research is the literature study and interviews as a supporting observation. This research has not previously been implemented in the library. Therefore, there is need for an assessment of the effectiveness of the retrieval system so that we know how well the information retrieval OPAC in the Library of the Ministry of Trade of Indonesia in meeting its objectives. The barriers are found in the assessment of recall and precision due to several factors namely the incompatibility of subjects used by the user in the search to the subject that is inputted and users do not fully understand the application retrieval system used."
