ABSTRACT Along with the increased use of air transport services, issues emerge concerningsecurity, safety, and convenience of aviation service consumers as a result of aircarriers’ lack of attention regarding services to the quality of its service, especiallyon international flights. The negligence causes the consumer positioned as theinjured party and thus is in a weak position. Consumers’ unawareness about theregulations concerning the losses they endure, causing air carriers acted arbitrarilyin providing compensation to consumers. Lack of information concerning theresponsibility of air carriers regarding compensation to the consumer caused harmto consumers. Air carriers should be liable under the Consumer Protection Actand the 1929 Warsaw Convention."
