"Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat gambaran orientasi karir dan hubungannya dengan komitmen organisasi, kepuasan kerja, dan intensi untuk keluar. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif cross-sectional study dengan structural equation modelling (SEM), melibatkan 273 pegawai generasi Milenial (Y), dibagi berdasarkan kategori jalur pengangkatan pegawai HCMS dan non HCMS.
Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan 5 variabel, yaitu Orientasi Karir Protean, Orientasi Karir Boundaryless, Komitmen Organisasi, Kepuasan Kerja, dan Intensi untuk Keluar. Wawancara juga dilakukan pada 2 pegawai untuk memperkuat hasil kuesioner.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan Orientasi Protean, Orientasi Karir Boundaryless, Komitmen Organisasi, Kepuasan Kerja, dan Intensi untuk Keluar pada kedua kategori pegawai. Namun, variabel pengaruh berbeda antara pegawai HCMS, non-HCMS, dan total pegawai milenial tersebut. Pada pegawai HCMS, orientasi karir protean hanya mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi dan kepuasan kerja, dan orientasi boudaryless hanya mempengaruhi intensi untuk keluar, sedangkan pada pegawai non-HCMS, baik orientasi karir protean dan boundaryless sama-sama mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi dan kepuasan kerja. Berbeda dengan pegawai HCMS, pada pegawai non-HCMS intensi untuk keluar dipengaruhi oleh komitmen organisasi.
Secara total pegawai millenial, orientasi karir protean juga sama mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi, sedangkan orientasi karir boundaryless hanya mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi, dan komitmen organisasi menjadi pengaruh terhadap intensi untuk keluar. Untuk itu, dalam melakukan evaluasi terhadap sistem manajemen karir, PT XYZ (Persero) harus mempertimbangkan konsep protean dan boundaryless agar pegawai terutama milenial dapat berkembang secara optimal dan dapat meningkatkan value added untuk sustainability perusahaan.

This research was conducted to portray the relationship of protean and boundaryless career orientation and its correlation with organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and intention to quit from the job. The approach was done with quantitative approach with structural equation modelling (SEM), involved 273 millennial employees or Y generation that were divided based on the category of employment’s tracks which were HCMS and non HCMS).
The research technique used was questioner with 5 variables, which were protean career orientation, boundaryless career orientation, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and intention to quit the job. Interview was also performed to two employees to confirm the questioner’s result.
The result of this study showed that there was no difference between protean career orientation, boundaryless career orientation, organizational commitment, job satisfaction and intention to quit the job in the two categories (HCMS and non HCMS). However, influence factor was found to be different between HCMS employee, non-HCMS employee, and total millennial employees. For HCMS employees, protean career orientation only influenced organizational commitment and job satisfaction, and boundaryless career orientation only influenced intention to quit the job, meanwhile for non-HCMS employees, both protean and boundaryless career orientation influenced organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Different from HCMS employees, for non-HCMS employees, intention to quit the job was influenced by organizational commitment.
In the general aspect of total millennial employees, protean career orientation contributed influence toward job satisfaction and organizational commitment, while boundaryless career orientation only influenced organizational commitment, and organizational commitment became an influence for intention to quit the job. For that result, in order to evaluate career management system, PT XYZ (Persero) has to consider the concept of Protean and Boundaryless so that the employees especially millennial could develop optimally and increase the added value for corporate sustainability.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh orientasi karier protean terhadap intensi untuk meninggalkan organisasi yang dimediasi oleh komitmen organisasi dan kepuasan kerja pada pegawai bertalenta di Badan XYZ. Orientasi protean diharapkan dimiliki oleh individu-individu bertalenta yang dapat memberikan keunggulan kompetitif bagi organisasi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Model (SEM) yang diolah menggunakan software SmartPLS 3.2. Sebanyak 134 responden yang lolos screening pada Badan XYZ telah berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orientasi karier protean memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap intensi untuk meninggalkan organisasi. Selain itu, komitmen organisasi dan kepuasan kerja memediasi secara sifnifikan pengaruh antara orientasi karier protean terhadap intensi untuk meninggalkan organisasi.

The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of protean career orientation on intention to quit mediated by organizational commitment and job satisfaction on talented employees at XYZ Agency. Protean orientation is expected to be possessed by talented individuals who can provide a competitive advantage to the organization. This research is a quantitative study using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method which is processed using SmartPLS 3.2 software. A total of 134 respondents who passed the screening at XYZ Agency participated in this research. The results showed that protean career orientation had a significant effect on intention to quit. In addition, organizational commitment and job satisfaction mediate a significant effect between protean career orientation on the intention to quit.

"Hal-hal seperti globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi, telah mengubah bagaimana organisasi dan para pekerja melihat pengelolaan karier. Sebelumnya, tanggung jawab pengelolaan karier pekerja berada pada tangan organisasi, namun telah terjadi pergeseran dimana sekarang para pekerja lebih bertanggung jawab atas kariernya masing-masing. Orientasi karier tersebut bernama orientasi karier protean. Individu dengan orientasi karier protean akan cenderung lebih proaktif dan rela untuk berkontribusi lebih kepada organisasi.
Penelitian ini ingin melihat apakah terdapat hubungan positif antara orientasi karier protean dan organizational citizenship behaviors OCB atau perilaku warga organisasi PWO. Penelitian ini menggunakan Protean Career Attitude Scale PCAS untuk mengukur orientasi karier protean berdasarkan kedua dimensinya, yaitu self-directed dan values-driven, serta menggunakan alat ukur yang dikembangkan oleh Williams dan Anderson 1991 untuk mengukur PWO berdasarkan dimensinya PWO-I PWO-O. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan 101 karyawan yang bekerja di sektor industri/manufaktur.
Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara self-directed dan PWO-I r = .26, p = .004, one tail, serta PWO-O r = .23, p = .011, one tail. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan hubungan negatif antara values-driven dan PWO-O r = -.17, p = .043, one tail, tetapi tidak ditemukan hubungan dengan PWO-I.

Things like globalization and rapid technology development has changed the way organizations and workers see career management. Before, the organization was responsible for its workers career management, however there has been a shift, where now the workers themselves are more responsible for their own careers. This career orientation is called protean career orientation. Individuals with protean career orientation are more proactive and willing to contribute more to the organization.
This research aims to see if there is a positive relationship between protean career orientation and organizational citizenship behaviors OCB. This research uses Protean Career Attitude Scale PCAS to measure the protean career orientation, based on its two dimensions, which is self directed and values driven, and also uses an instrument developed by Williams and Anderson 1991 to measure OCB by its dimension OCB I OCB O. The participants of this research consist of 101 workers who works in the manufacturing industry.
Results from this research shows that there is a positive correlation between self directed and OCB I r .26, p .004, one tail, and also OCB O r .23, p .011, one tail. The results also found a negative relationship between values driven and OCB O r .17, p .043, one tail, but no correlation was found with OCB I.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan karir yang terdiri dari empat dimensi (kemajuan tujuan karir, perkembangan kemampuan profesional, kecepatan promosi, dan pertumbuhan remunerasi) terhadap komitmen organisasional yang terdiri dari tiga dimensi (komitmen afektif, komitmen kontinuan, dan komitmen normatif) dan kepuasan kerja. Bagi variabel kepuasan kerja sendiri pada penelitian ini juga digunakan sebagai variabel mediasi. Data penelitian didapatkan dari 183 karyawan yang bekerja di empat kantor akuntan publik di daerah DKI Jakarta. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan regresi linear berganda pada SPSS 17.0.
Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemajuan tujuan karir berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap ketiga dimensi komitmen organisasional dan kepuasan kerja. Perkembangan kemampuan profesional berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap komitmen afektif dan komitmen normatif. Kecepatan promosi berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap komitmen afektif dan pertumbuhan remunerasi berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kepuasan kerja. Selain itu, kepuasan kerja memediasi secara parsial hubungan pengaruh kemajuan tujuan karir terhadap komitmen afektif dan pertumbuhan karir terhadap komitmen organisasional.
Implikasi penelitian ini adalah bahwa kemajuan tujuan karir sangat diperhitungkan oleh para karyawan kantor akuntan publik hingga mampu mempengaruhi komitmen organisasional dan kepuasan kerja mereka. Peran aktif perlu dilakukan oleh kantor akuntan publik untuk meningkatkan komitmen organisasional dan kepuasan kerja karyawan yang tidak terlalu tinggi.

For job satisfaction itself in this research also be used as the mediate variable. The data were collected from 183 employees who work in four public accountant firms in DKI Jakarta. Linear regression and multiple regression SPSS 17.0 were used for analyzed this research.
The result showed that career goal progress has positive significant effect to the three dimensions of organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Professional ability development has positive significant effect to affective commitment and normative commitment. Promotion speed has positive significant effect to affective commitment and remuneration growth has positive significant effect to job satisfaction. "Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan pengembangan karir terhadap komitmen organisasi dengan mencoba untuk memperjelas peran kepuasan kerja sebagai mediator hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan dan pengembangan karir terhadap komitmen organisasi Pegawai Negeri Sipil Sekretariat Jenderal MPR RI.
Kepuasan kerja pegawai yang menurun diindikasikan dari angka absensi/kemangkiran yang cukup tinggi disinyalir karena gaya kepemimpinan dan pengembangan karir yang cenderung negatif, seperti ketidakadilan pimpinan dalam hal pembagian pekerjaan, sikap serta tidak adanya sistem pola karir bagi pegawai dan kemudian mengarah pada rendahnya komitmen organisasi. Gaya kepemimpinan memiliki efek yang baik dan positif terhadap komitmen organisasi (Susanj) dan pegawai akan lebih memiliki komitmen kepada organisasi jika diperhatikan pengembangan karirnya. Mathieu dan Zajac (1990) mengemukakan bahwa banyak efek dari berbagai anteseden terhadap komitmen organisasi dimediasi melalui kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara primer melalui kuesioner.
Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh langsung gaya kepemimpinan dan pengembangan karir terhadap komitmen organisasi Sekretariat Jenderal MPR RI dan gaya kepemimpinan lebih dominan memberikan pengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji beda atau uji F atau uji anova. Implikasi dari hasil agar organisasi mengelola sumber daya manusianya dengan lebih bersifat terbuka kepada pimpinan dalam pelaksanaan tugasnya serta memberikan kesempatan berkembang bagi pegawainya dalam konteks kerja dan karir.

The research is to explore the influence of the transformational leadership style and career development to organizational commitment to prove the role of job satisfaction as a mediator between leadership style and career development to organizational commitment of the employees in the secretariat of the people?s consultative assembly.
The decrease of employes job satisfaction is indicated by the increase of number of absence, that might be caused by leadership style and career development that are negatives, such as fairness of leader in job distribution, the attitude, and the absence of career system for employees and tends to decrease the organizational commitment. Leadership style has good and positif effect to the organizational commitment (Susanj) and employees will have more commitment to the organizational if career development is available. Mathieu and Zajac (1990) say that there are so many effects from many antecedent to the organizational commitment, mediated by job satisfaction. The research uses a quantitative methode and questionaire for data collecting system.
The result shows that there is no direct influence between variable of leadership style and career development with variable of oganizational commitment of employees in the secretariat of the people?s consultative assembly. Leadership style gives more influence to job satisfaction. It is showed by the result of hypothesis test that uses anova test. The implication of the result is the organisations has to manage its human resources, by being more open to the leader in doing jobs, and giving more opportunity to employees to develop their career.

"Persaingan antar perusahaan yang semakin meningkat mengharuskan setiap organisasi/perusahaan untuk memiliki anggota dengan kinerja yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dari kedua dimensi orientasi karier protean yaitu self-directed dan values-driven terhadap kinerja in-role karyawan di organisasi.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat ukur Protean Career Attitudes Scale untuk mengukur orientasi karier protean dan Job Performance Scale in-role performance untuk mengukur kinerja. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 172 partisipan yang berasal dari berbagai sektor kerja.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi self-directed pada orientasi karier protean berkontribusi sebesar 16 dan dimensi values-driven berkontribusi sebesar 3 dalam menjelaskan kinerja individu.

The increase of competitiveness among companies forces orgnization to have employees with high performance. The aim of this study is to examine the influence of self directed and values driven as dimensions of protean career orientation toward employees rsquo in role performance in organization.
This quantitative study using Protean Career Attitudes Scale to measure self directed and values driven and also Job Performance Scale to measure in role performance. This study was conducted on 172 participants from various organizations and companies.
Results indicate that both dimensions have significant influence. Self directed contributes 16 while values driven only contributes 3 of in role performance.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis turnover intention PNS yang bekerja di instansi sektor publik dengan latar belakang militer. Adanya dua jenis manajemen kepegawaian yang berbeda dalam satu instansi menjadi pembeda karakteristik instansi ini dengan instansi sektor publik lainnya. Penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengembangan karir dan kompensasi terhadap turnover intention dengan kepuasan kerja dan komitmen keorganisasian sebagai variabel mediator. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei, dengan mendistribusikan kuesioner dalam bentuk pertanyaan tertutup dan terbuka terhadap 110 orang PNS di instansi Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia. Pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS dan SmartPLS. Statistik deskriptif dilakukan untuk menggambarkan karakteristik dan persepsi responden, sedangkan analisis hipotesis menggunakan teknik PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel pengembangan karir dan kompensasi masing-masing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan terhadap komitmen keorganisasian. Selain itu, terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari komitmen keorganisasian terhadap turnover intention, sedangkan kepuasan kerja tidak berpengaruh pada turnover intention. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diberikan saran untuk memperbaiki pola karir PNS dan manajemen kepegawaian di instansi Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the turnover intention of civil servants to work in public sector institutions with military backgrounds. The existence of two different types of staff management in one agency is a distinguishing characteristic of this agency with other public sector agencies. The study was conducted to analyze the effect of career development and compensation on turnover intention with job satisfaction and organizational commitment as a mediator variable. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data collection is done through surveys, by distributing questionnaires in the form of closed and open questions to 110 civil servants in the Indonesian National Police. Processing data using SPSS and SmartPLS. Descriptive statistics are performed to describe the characteristics and perceptions of respondents, while hypothesis analysis uses PLS-SEM techniques. The results showed that career development and compensation variables each had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and on organizational commitment. In addition, there is a positive and significant effect of organizational commitment to turnover intention, while job satisfaction has no effect on turnover intention. Based on the results of the study, advice was given to improve the career pattern of civil servants and staff management in the Indonesian National Police."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dari Islamic Work Ethics terhadap Kepuasan Kerja, Komitmen Organisasi, Intensi Keluar dan Kemampuan Inovasi para karyawan dengan melakukan studi kasus pada Bank Syariah Arafah. Data diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner ke 172 karyawan yang bekerja di Bank Syariah Arafah dan melakukan wawancara ke beberapa karyawan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis deskriptif dan Partial Least Square menggunakan Smart PLS 3.0.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Islamic Work Ethics berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi, intensi keluar, dan kemampuan inovasi. Implikasi penelitian ini berguna diterapkan di lingkungan Bank Syariah.

This study aims to determine the effect of islamic work ethics on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, turnover intention and innovation capability of employees at Bank Syariah Arafah. Data obtained from the questionnaires distributed to 172 employees who worked in Bank Syariah Arafah and interviewed several employees to strengthen the analysis. Data was performed by descriptive analysis and partial least squares using Smart PLS 3.0.
The results indicates that islamic work ethics significantly influence job satisfaction, organizational commitment, turnover intention, and innovation capability.This research can be useful for Islamic Bank Work Ethics.

"Tesis ini berfokus pada pemberian konseling karir pada karyawan sales monitoring di perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang preventive health untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja, sehingga dapat menurunkan intention to turnover. Alat ukur diadaptasi alat ukur kepuasan kerja (Spector, 1997) (Alpha Cronbach = 0,974) dan intention to turnover (Mobley, 1978) (Alpha Cronbach = 0,958).
Hasil uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dan intention to turnover (r=-0,868 dan signifikansi 0,001). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa dengan semakin meningkatnya kepuasan kerja pada sales, maka intention to turnover mereka akan semakin rendah. Intervensi konseling karir diberikan kepada karyawan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja dan menurunkan intention to turnover.
Hasil uji Paired Sampled T-Test sebelum dan sesudah intervensi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan skor yang signifikan pada skor kepuasan kerja dengan nilai signifikansi 0,017 (p>0,05) dan skor intention to turnover dengan nilai signifikansi 0,038 (p>0,05). Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa konseling karir dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja dan menurunkan intention to turnover pada karyawan divisi sales monitoring di PT.X. Dengan demikian, perusahaan perlu menerapkan konseling karir secara berkelanjutan.

This thesis focus on providing career counseling to employees in sales monitoring division at company that engaged in the field of preventive health to increase job satisfaction, and decrease the intention to turnover. Tools were adapted from job satisfaction (Spector, 1997) (Cronbach alpha = .974) and intention to turnover (Mobley, 1978) (Cronbach alpha = 0.958).
The results of the Pearson correlation test showed a significant negative relationship between job satisfaction and intention to turnover (r = -0.868 and significance of 0.001). This result indicates that with increasing job satisfaction in sales, then the intention to turnover they will be decreased. Career counseling intervention had given to employees to enhance job satisfaction and to reduce intention to turnover.
The Paired T-Test sampled results before and after the intervention suggests that there are significant differences in scores on job satisfaction scores with a significance value of 0.017 (p> 0.05) and scores intention to turnover with a significance value of 0.038 (p> 0.05). These results indicate that career counseling can improve job satisfaction and lower intention to turnover at employees at X Company Sales Monitoring. Thus, the company need to implement a sustainable career counseling.

"Mahasiswa tingkat akhir sedang menghadapi tantangan dalam transisi dari pendidikan tinggi ke dunia kerja yang dapat memengaruhi optimisme karier mereka. Sebagai bagian dari Gen Z, partisipasi mereka dalam Extracurricular Activities (ECA) dan program magang, merupakan bagian dari pengalaman kerja sekaligus membantu mereka mengembangkan orientasi dan harapan karier yang berfokus pada nilai-nilai pribadi mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran mediasi adaptabilitas karier dalam hubungan antara orientasi karier protean dan optimisme karier. Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari 144 mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang mengikuti ECA dan program magang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adaptabilitas karier memediasi penuh hubungan antara orientasi karier protean dan optimisme karier. Semakin tinggi orientasi karier yang dimiliki mahasiswa, semakin tinggi adaptabilitas dan berimbas pula pada optimisme karier mereka. Penelitian ini memiliki saran agar universitas dan penyelenggara ECA serta magang lebih mendorong partisipasi mahasiswa.

Final-year students are facing challenges in transitioning from higher education to the workforce, which can affect their career optimism. As part of Gen Z, participation in work experiences such as Extracurricular Activities (ECA) and internship programs can help them develop career orientations and expectations focused on personal values. This study aims to examine the mediating role of career adaptability in the relationship between protean career orientation and career optimism. The participants of this study consist of 144 final-year students who are engaged in ECA and internship programs. The analysis shows that career adaptability fully mediates the relationship between protean career orientation and career optimism. The higher the career orientation of the students, the higher their career adaptability and optimism. The study faced challenges in achieving the reliability standards for the career optimism measurement tool. It is recommended that universities and ECA and internship program organizers further encourage student participation."
