"Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh ekuitas merek berbasis pelanggan seperti loyalitas merek, kesadaran merek, persepsi kualitas dan citra merek terhadap sikap merek dan niat beli konsumen terhadap hotel mewah di Jakarta. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan 213 responden yang tinggal di sekitar wilayah JABODETABEK untuk mengisi kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa loyalitas merek, persepsi kualitas tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap sikap merek konsumen. Di sisi lain, kesadaran merek dan citra merek secara positif mempengaruhi sikap merek terhadap hotel mewah. Selain itu, seluruh dimensi model CBBE tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap niat beli konsumen terhadap hotel mewah di Jakarta. Dalam penelitian ini, sikap merek juga tidak memediasi pengaruh antara dimensi-dimensi CBBE dan niat pembelian konsumen sedangkan kinerja merek sebagai moderasi mempengaruhi hubungan antara sikap merek dan niat pembelian konsumen. Penelitian ini menerapkan teori CBBE di hotel-hotel mewah di Jakarta untuk mengetahui perbedaan reaksi konsumen di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia dengan menganalisis pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung dari masing-masing dimensi CBBE terhadap sikap merek dan niat membeli.

This research examines the effect of customer based brand equity such as brand loyalty, brand awareness, perceived quality and brand image toward brand attitude and consumer purchase intention toward luxury hotels in Jakarta. This study collected 213 respondents who live around the JABODETABEK to fill the questionnaire. The research shows that brand loyalty and perceived quality do not have positive effect on consumer brand attitude. On the other hand, brand awareness and brand image positively influence the brand attitude toward luxury hotels. In addition, the whole dimensions of CBBE model do not positively affect the consumer 39 s purchase intention toward luxury hotels in Jakarta. In this research, brand attitude does not mediate the effect of the CBBE dimensions and consumer purchase intention while brand performance as moderation affects the relationship between brand attitude and consumer purchase intention. This research applied the CBBE theory in luxury hotels in Jakarta to know the different reaction of the consumers in the developing country such as Indonesia by analyzing the direct and indirect effect of each CBBE dimension on brand attitude and purchase intention."

"Tesis ini membahas mengenai perbandingan ekuitas merek iPad dan Galaxy Tab berdasarkan sumber-sumer ekuitas merek, yaitu kesadaran merek dan asosiasi merek yang berhubungan dengan produk dan non-produk, serta tingkat loyalitas konsumen terhadap merek yang digunakan. Penelitian eksploratori ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengadopsi langkah-langkah wawancara ZMET (Zaltman Metaphor Elicitation Technique) dianalisa dengan menggunakan metode charting context dan menggunakan program ATLAS.ti.6.2. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyarakankan agar iPad dan Galaxy Tab meningkatkan kegiatan pemasaran masing-masing merek untuk membangun ekuitas merek masing-masing produk tersebut.

The focus of this thesis research is to analyze the comparison of brand equity iPad and Galaxy Tab based on the sources of brand equity, brand awareness and brand associations that consist of product related and non-product related, and level of their brand loyalty. The objectives of this research are to explore the sources of brand equity two different tablet PC brands, iPad and Galaxy Tab, and to compare the strengths of each brand?s sources of brand equity. This exploratory study uses qualitative method that refers to the adoption of ZMET (Zaltman Metaphor Elicitation Technique) interview and analyzed by applying context charting as qualitative data analysis method and using qualitative analysis software (ATLAS.ti.6.2). The result of this study suggests each brand to increase their marketing activities in order to build their brand equity."

The purpose of this study was to find out how marketing activities using social media affect brand equity and male customer responses to watch brands in Indonesia. This
study shows that customization, entertainment and interaction are the strongest factors that influence brand equity and male customer responses to watch brands in Indonesia. The sample used as the research material was as many as 368 respondents spread throughout Indonesia and showed that there was a positive influence between marketing activities using social media on brand equity and male customer responses to watch brands in Indonesia.

"Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui apakah antecedents dari internal brand equity yang dikembangkan oleh Baumgarth dan Schmidt (2010) memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap internal brand equity dari suatu perusahaan dan apakah internal brand equity memiliki pengaruh terhadap customer-based brand equity. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 280 responden karyawan dan 280 responden konsumen Bank Syariah Mandiri. Pengolahan analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan software Lisrel.
Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh brand orientation secara langsung terhadap internal brand equity, terdapat pengaruh brand orientation terhadap internal brand commitment, internal brand knowledge, internal brand involvement, serta terdapat pengaruh juga dari internal brand commitment dan internal brand knowledge terhadap internal brand equity. Akan tetapi internal brand involvement tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap internal brand knowledge dan internal brand equity. Temuan hipotesis sembilan menggunakan analisis independent sample t-test menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nilai mean antara internal brand equity dan customer-based brand equity.

This study aims to determine whether antecedents of internal brand equity developed by Baumgarth and Schmidt (2010) have significant effect on the internal brand equity and its relationship to customer-based brand equity. This study use sample from 280 respondents of employees and 280 respondents of consumers in Bank Syariah Mandiri. This study using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with software Lisrel to analyze the data.
The result show that brand orientation have a direct impact to internal brand equity, and then brand orientation have a significant impact to internal brand commitment, internal brand knowledge, internal brand involvement, and also internal brand commitment and internal brand knowledge has a significant impact on internal brand equity. Where as internal brand involvement proved to have no impact to internal brand equity and internal brand knowledge. For hypothesis nine, this study use independent sample t-test, proved to internal brand equity have different mean with customer-based brand equity.

"Perkembangan dunia ekonomi dan bisnis sekarang mengalami pergeseran paradigma, mulai dari ekonomi berbasis sumber daya hingga ekonomi berbasis pengetahuan. Akibatnya, salah satu dari sekian banyak industri yang berpotensi untuk dapat dikembangkan dan dapat berkontribusi terhadap perekonomian Indonesia adalah sektor industri kreatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kerangka konseptual ekuitas merek berbasis pengunjung dalam konteks festival.
Secara khusus, penelitian ini menguji praktik perilaku pengunjung festival berdasarkan hubungan antara dimensi ekuitas merek brand awareness, brand image, brand quality, perceived value dan brand loyalty dengan objek penelitian festival musik jazz tertua di Indonesia Jazz Goes to Campus dan Festival musik jazz terbesar di Indonesia Java Jazz Festival.
Hasilnya diuji dengan menggunakan structural equation model SEM dengan bantuan software LISREL 8.51. Temuan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat interaksi antara dimensi ekuitas merek kecuali interaksi antara brand awareness terhadap perceived value, brand image terhadap brand quality dan brand quality terhadap perceived value.

The world's development of economic and business is now experiencing a paradigm shift, from resource based economy into a knowledge based economy. As a result, one of numerous industries that have the potential to be able to develop and can contribute to the Indonesia's economy is the creative industry sector. This research aims to develop a conceptual framework of visitor based brand equity in the festival context.
Specifically, this study examines festival visitors behavioral practices based on the relationships among the brand equity dimensions brand awareness, brand image, brand quality, perceived value and brand loyalty with the research object of Indonesia's oldest jazz music festival Jazz Goes to Campus and Indonesia's biggest jazz music festival Java Jazz Festival.
The results are tested using structural equation modelling with the help of LISREL 8.51 software. Findings from the result showed that there is interactions among brand equity dimensions except for interaction between brand awareness to perceived value, brand image to brand quality and brand quality to perceived value.

"Untuk bersaing dengan para kompetitor sebuah bisnis harus dapat membuat ikatan dengan para pelanggannya, ikatan antara merek dengan pelanggannya ini dinamakan brand attachment. Brand attachment dapat terbentuk melalui beberapa faktor seperti brand experience dan brand trust. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana brand attachment terhubung dengan brand experience. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran mediasi brand trust, penghasilan dan umur. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap masyarakat DKI Jakarta yang merupakan pelanggan Restoran Sederhana. Dengan menganalisis 113 responden melalui kuesioner online. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif antara brand experience dengan brand attachment pada pelanggan Restoran Sederhana di DKI Jakarta, dan tidak ada efek mediasi dari penghasilan terhadap hubungan brand trust dengan brand attachment, dan tidak ada juga efek mediasi umur terhadap hubungan brand experience dengan brand attachment pada pelanggan Restoran Sederhana di DKI Jakarta. Brand trust terbukti memediasi hubungan brand experience dengan brand attachment, dan penghasilan yang lebih rendah terbukti memediasi hubungan brand experience terhadap brand trust pada pelanggan Restoran Sederhana di DKI Jakarta.

To compete with its competitors, a business must be able to make bonds with its customers, this bond between brands and customers is called brand attachment. Brand attachment can be formed through several factors such as brand experience and brand trust. This study aims to explain how brand attachment relates to brand experience. In addition, to find out how the mediating role of brand trust, income, and age. This research was conducted on the people of DKI Jakarta who are customers of Restoran Sederhana. By analyzing 113 respondents through an online questionnaire. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression thrpugh SPSS 25. The results showed that there was a positive influence between brand experience and brand attachment on Restoran Sederhana customers in DKI Jakarta, and there was no mediating effect of income on the relationship between brand trust and brand attachment, and there was also no mediating effect of age on the relationship between brand experience and brand attachment. Simple Restaurant customers in DKI Jakarta. Brand trust has been proven to mediate the relationship between brand experience and brand attachment, and lower income has been proven to mediate the relationship between brand experience and brand trust for Restoran Sederhana customers in DKI Jakarta."

"Dalam tesis ini, dilakukan pengujian terhadap elemen bauran pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh Dian Pelangi sebagai merek pakaian muslim (hijab fesyen) terhadap ekuitas merek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis elemen bauran pemasaran yang mempengaruhi pembentukan ekuitas merek melalui dimensi-dimensi pembentuk ekuitas merek. Metode penentuan sampel yang digunakan non-probability sampling dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik convenience sampling pada wanita muda baik mahasiswi maupun yang sudah bekerja dan menggunakan hijab. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan aplikasi program LISREL 8.7. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari 330 responden ditemukan bahwa produk, distribusi, dan promosi berpengaruh positif terhadap pembentukan ekuitas merek, sedangkan harga tidak akan mempengaruhi persepsi kualitas target pasar Dian Pelangi.

This thesis examined elements of the marketing mix which is done by Dian Pelangi as a brand of Muslim clothing (hijab fashion) on brand equity. This study aims to analyze the elements of the marketing mix affects as the formation of brand equity through dimensions of brand equity. Sampling methods is non-probability sampling with techniques of data collection using convenience sampling technique on both university students and young women who are already working and using hijab. Data analysis techniques is using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with LISREL 8.7 as an application program. The results showed that out of 330 respondents found the product, distribution, and promotion have positive influence on the formation of brand equity, while price will not affect the perceived quality of the target market Dian Pelangi."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi store brand equity pada industri ritel fashion di Indonesia khususnya yang menerapkan strategi fast fashion. Data pada penelitian ini didapat dari penyebaran kuisioner kepada konsumen ZARA, H&M dan UNIQLO yang pernah melakukan pembelanjaan selama 6 (enam) bulan terakhir. Data ini diolah dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ekuitas merek toko (store brand equity) dipengaruhi langsung secara positif oleh kesadaran merek toko (store brand awareness) dan loyalitas merek toko (store brand loyalty). Loyalitas merek toko (store brand loyalty) dipengaruhi secara langsung dan positif oleh persepsi kualitas merek toko (store brand perceived quality) dan kesadaran merek toko (store brand awareness). Kemudian, persepsi kualitas merek toko (store brand perceived quality) dipengaruhi langsung oleh citra komersial toko (store commercial image). Sementara kesadaran merek toko (store brand awareness) dipengaruhi oleh reputasi toko (store reputation), citra komersial toko (store commercial image), dan citra harga toko (store price image).

This study aims to analyze the antecedents of store brand equity in Indonesia Fashion Retail Industry, particularly those that implement fast fashion strategy. Data for this research were collected from ZARA, H&M, and UNIQLO consumers, specifically those who made purchasing in the last 6 (six) months. They were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results of this show that store brand awareness and store brand loyalty have positive effect on store brand equity. Then, store brand loyalty affected positively by store brand perceived quality and store brand awareness. Furthermore, store brand perceived quality affected by store commercial image, while store brand awareness affected positively by store reputation, store commercial image, and store price image."

"ABSTRAK
Pemahaman awal tentang merek adalah sebuah tanda agar konsumen bisa
membedakan satu produk dengan lainnya, tetapi dalam perkembangannya merek
menjadi hal yang sangat penting karena semakin banyaknya merek dengan
kategori jenis produk yang sama bersaing memperebutkan konsumen yang ada.
Kekuatan sebuah merek memberikan banyak keuntungan bagi perusahaan,
sehingga setiap perusahaan harus membangun dan memelihara merek, karena
dengan merek yang kuat maka konsumen akan semakin susah untuk
meninggalkan merek tersebut.
Selain itu, perkembangan kehidupan konsumen yang semakin maju, membuat
konsumen merasa waktu yang dimiliki semakin sempit, sehingga mereka
memerlukan segala sesuatu yang praktis dengan tetap memperhatikan
kehigienisan suatu produk.
Produk yang dikemas secara modern dan higienis yang memperhatikan kebutuhan
dan keinginan konsumen akan kepraktisan dan kehigienisan semakin banyak
bermunculan, salah satunya adalah pada kategori seasoning seperti produk terasi.
Terasi MamaSuka adalah produk kategori seasoning yang merupakan produk me
too dari terasi ABC. Terasi MamaSuka adalah salah satu produk dari PT. Jico
Agung yang memiliki market share yang cukup besar setelah terasi ABC. Dalam
kompetisinya dengan terasi ABC, maka PT. Jico Agung sebagai pemegang merek
MamaSuka harus mengelola merek MamaSuka dengan baik, agar semakin kuat
dan bisa mengalahkan terasi ABC.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis brand equity terasi MamaSuka pada
elemen brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality ,dan brand loyalty.
Penelitian ini diadakan di daerah Jakarta, dengan metode pengambilan sampel
Purposive sampling. Sedangkan untuk alat analisis, Skala likert, Skala semantic
differential dan analisis deskriptif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada elemen brand awareness merek
MamaSuka adalah merek kedua yang selalu diingat oleh konsumen setelah ABC.
Pada elemen brand association menunjukkan asosiasi dibuat dari udang asli dan
harganya terjangkau merupakan asosiasi yang paling kuat. Penilaian konsumen
pada perceived quality menunjukkan bahwa terasi MamaSuka dinilai tinggi pada
atribut mudah didapatkan, rasanya enak, dan kualitas terjamin. Analisa brand
loyalty menunjukkan bahwa terasi MamaSuka belum memiliki brand loyalty yang
belum kuat, hal ini tercermin dari bentuk piramida brand loyalty yang mengecil
pada tingkatan liking the brand dan committed buyer.

ABSTRACT
An initial understanding of the brand is a sign that consumers can distinguish one
product to another product. In its development, the brand becomes very important
because brands from the same category of products will compete each other for
getting existing customers.
The power of a brand provides many benefits for the company, so that each
company must build its brand and maintain it. With a strong brand, consumers
will be more difficult to leave the brand.
In addition, the development of more advanced consumer life, consumers don’t
have enough time so they require practically everything and maintaining about
hygienic product.
Products are packaged in a modern and hygienic packaging to the needs and
desires of consumers to be practical and hygienic more and more popping up, one
of which is the seasoning kategori such as fish paste products. In shrimp paste
condiment products, MamaSuka is me too products which is from ABC shrimp
paste. Terasi MamaSuka is one product of the PT. Jico Agung which has huge
market share after ABC shrimp paste. By the competition with ABC shrimp paste,
then PT. Jico Agung as the MamaSuka brand holder must manage MamaSuka
brand so well, to be more powerful and can beat ABC shrimp paste.
The purpose of this study was to analyze brand equity elements condiment of
MamaSuka on brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, and brand
loyalty. The research was conducted in Jakarta with Purposive sampling method.
As for the analytical tools, researcher Likert scale, semantic differential scale and
descriptive analysis.
The results showed that MamaSuka brand awareness is the second model which is
remembered by the consumer after the ABC’s brand awareness. Brand association
shows made from native shrimp and affordable price which are the most powerful
associations. Consumer ratings on perceived quality showed that MamaSuka
shrimp paste has high rating on easily obtainable attributes, it feels good, and
quality assured. Analysis shows that MamaSuka’s brand loyalty do not have a
strong brand loyalty yet, which is reflected from a pyramid shape of brand loyalty
decreases on the level of liking the brand and committed buyer."

"Tesis ini meneliti tentang pengaruh dari brand innovativeness dan brand leadership terhadap keberhasilan luxury brands di Indonesia, dan bagaimana brand luxury, brand user-imagery fit dan brand value mempengaruhi willingness to pay a premium pada luxury fashion brands. Setelah dilakukan tinjauan pustaka dan penyusunan hipotesis, diperoleh data dari penyebaran kuesioner terhadap 157 responden yang pernah membeli dan menggunakan tas bermerek (Hermes, Chanel, dan Louis Vouitton) di wilayah Jakarta, dengan melakukan pendekatan snowball sampling dan convenience sampling, dan kemudian dilakukan analisis terhadap data dengan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand innovativeness tidak memiliki pengaruh secara langsung terhadap brand luxury, sedangkan brand leadership mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap brand luxury. Lebih lanjut variabel Brand luxury, brand value, dan brand user-imagery fit memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap willingness to pay a premium dan yang pengaruhnya paling besar terhadap willingness to pay a premium adalah brand value. Oleh karena itu, untuk menciptakan brand luxury harus diawali dengan upaya membangun brand leadership, apakah sudah menjadi merek yang terdepan, beradaptasi dengan perkembangan jaman dan memiliki visi jangka panjang. Kemudian dengan menjadi brand luxury tidak serta merta konsumen akan bersedia membayar premium, harus ada brand value yang kuat yang didasari bahwa dirinya adalah bagian dari orang-orang pengguna luxury fashion brand tersebut. Dalam membentuk brand luxury dan willingness to pay a premium, perusahaan sebaiknya memperhatikan "the Brand Luxury Model" pada penelitan ini.

This thesis examines the effect of brand innovativeness and brand leadership with respect to the success of luxury brands in Indonesia; as well as how brand luxury, brand user-imagery fit and brand value have an effect on the willingness to pay a premium on the luxury-fashion brands. After conducting a comprehensive literature study and crafting hypothesis, some useful data were obtained from the questioners distributed to 157 respondents who had purchased or are using a number of branded or designer bags (including Hermes, Chanel, and Louis Vouitton) in Jakarta, with a snowball sampling and convenience sampling approaches. This followed by an analysis of the data with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).
The research has provided us with an interesting observation whereby brand innovativeness does not have a direct influence on the brand luxury, and on the other hand brand leadership offers positive influence on the brand luxury. Furthermore, brand luxury, brand value, and brand user-imagery fit, all have positive influence on the willingness to pay a premium. And brand value is perceived as the one that has the biggest influence on the willingness to pay a premium. Therefore, to create a brand luxury, one must start by putting a lot of efforts in developing a brand leadership, whether one particular brand has already become a leading brand; an adaptive brand with the ever-changing era; or having a forward long-term vision. By being a brand luxury does not necessary mean that consumers will be willing to pay for a premium. There must be a strong brand value on the basis that they are part of those users of the luxury fashion brand. In shaping the luxury brand and the willingness to pay a premium, companies should pay attention to "the Brand Luxury Model" in this research.
