"Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui adanya pengaruh jangkauan sosial yang ditunjukkan oleh variabel persentase peminjam perempuan dan saldo pinjaman rata-rata terhadap kinerja keuangan LKM. Dengan sampel 105 LKM yang tersebar di 12 negara, pada wilayah Asia Tenggara dan Asia Selatan yang diperoleh dari MIX Market, peneliti menggunakan metode balanced data panel robust fixed effects (FE), dengan periode 2011 hingga 2018. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jangkauan sosial yang lebih luas berpengaruh positif terhadap meningkatnya biaya operasional LKM. Kemudian, peneliti juga menemukan bahwa jangkauan sosial berpengaruh positif dalam meningkatnya imbal hasil portofolio pinjaman LKM. Terakhir, peneliti juga tidak menemukan adanya keterkaitan antara jangkauan sosial yang lebih luas terhadap performa kinerja keuangan LKM (ROA, ROE, dan OSS), yang disebabkan faktor biaya operasional dan faktor pendorong lainnya.

This study aims to determine the effect of social outreach shown by percentage of female borrower and average loan balance, towards financial performance of microfinance institutions. Used sample of 105 MFIs, spread across 12 countries, in the Southeast Asia and South Asia region which obtained from MIX Market, this study uses the robust fixed effect (FE) balanced panel data with a period from 2011 to 2018. The result shows that larger social outreach positively associated with higher operational costs of MFIs. We also found positive effect of social outreach towards higher portfolio yield of MFIs. However, this study shows that larger social outreach is not related to the financial performance of MFIs, which was caused by operational expense and other driving factors."

"The Port of Bitung area has a number of potentials that can impact the structure of national security and national defense, because it has a strategic concept for the Indo-Pacific Region. The Bitung Port area as an international hub port, stated in the Minister of Transportation Decree Number 54 of 2002 concerning the Implementation of Sea Ports. The method in this study used a qualitative descriptive approach and data analysis techniques used an interactive of model analysis. This study analyzes the Geostrategy concept for the Port of Bitung Region as part of a national security strategy to strengthen national defense based on the maritime security side and the economic implications of the Indo-Pacific Region. The results show that in general the analysis of the strategy of the Bitung port area in maritime security studies for national national security and national defense shows several things: 1) the strategic conditions of the Bitung Port area need to be supported by strategic and integrated policies between the Central government and the North Sulawesi Province Bitung City; 2) the development of special economic zones (KEK) requires accelerated implementation of policies in a sustainable manner with full support from the budget side, this is to strengthen the territorial basis in the geostrategic concept; and 3) there needs to be an approach towards the community in supporting the realization of the strategic area of Bitung City, North Sulawesi. The fulfillment of these requirements has made the Bitung Port area capable of supporting geostrategy through strategic maritime security studies and economic implications, because it is located in the Indo-Pacific Region as a center for political and economic defense so as to strengthen national security and national defense."

"Indonesia is not one of the claimant states, but Chinese provocation through its fishing vessels which escorted by Chinese Coast Guard has been violating Indonesia Exclusive Economic Zone on South China Sea which is intersected with Nine Dashed Line (NDL). Until now, the synergy among Indonesian power instruments to defend Indonesia’s sovereign rights is still weak, thus the problem identification in this research is how the synergy of the instrument of competent forces in the Indonesian maritime domain to face Chinese Claims on South China Sea. Synergy analysis is seen from three aspects: perspective, policy, and Rules Of Engangement (ROE) applied to operational. This research uses qualitative method to explore research questions deeper, with Soft System Methodology analysis method to approach problems with the comparison between system thinking and real world in a structured way, and supported NVivo to execute the process of data triangulation. Research results show that maritime power instruments of Indonesia do not have a harmonious perspective on NDL yet. This study also shows that policy from policy makers and strategic derivatives from strategy makers of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia's have not been orchestrated, thus appropriate ROE at operational level to confront China's provocation of the South China Sea has not been formulated by adjusting authority with instrument capability. Overall, the study found that the synergy of Indonesian maritime power instruments need to be optimized to deal with Chinese Claims over the territory of Indonesian jurisdiction in the South China Sea."

Skripsi ini juga menguraikan lebih lanjut mengenai posisi Indonesia di dalam sengketa tersebut. Tujuan dari skripsi ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman lebih lanjut mengenai Sengketa Laut Cina Selatan dan mendiskusikan lebih lanjut mengenai negara penutut yang mana yang memiliki klaim paling sah di Laut Cina Selatan.

The focus of this thesis is to discuss the maritime boundaries principle and applying the principle in the South China Sea Dispute regarding the maritime boundaries of the Claimant States. The thesis also elaborates more about Indonesia's position in the dispute. The purpose of this thesis is to give a more thorough understanding about the South China Sea Dispute, and discuss further regarding which claimant state has the most legitimate claim in the South China Sea."
