"ABSTRACTIndonesia adalah salah satu Negara potensial dalam pengembangan institusi takaful mikro. Salah satu ahli dalam pengembangan takaful mikro adalah Takmin Working Group. TWG adalah grup inisiator yang berkomitmen terhadap pengembangan takaful mikro di Indonesia. Anggotanya terdiri dari para ahli dalamasuransi syariah, keuangan mikro dan akuntansi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasimasalah yang dihadapi TWG dalam pengembangan takaful mikro dan menemukan solusinya dengan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Temuan dalam studi ini menunjukkan bahwa solusi yang prioritas dalam menyelesaikan masalah internal dan eksternal adalahpengembangan sistem informasi dan pengembangan produk yang inovatif. Komunikasi dan kunjungan terhadap lembagakeuangan mikro serta sosialisasi terkait produk takaful mikro kepada masyarakat menjadi prioritas selanjutnya."

"Booming and prosperity. Joyful expectation of the future. And, suddenly, a crash, a dramatic crash. All were lost in such a short time. They were so unprepared for this event. Then, those who had used to talk about poverty, but did not really experience the poverty itself, were forced to get the feeling of much relative deprivation. They had not fallen to under poverty line, and, indeed, they might be still in a much higher economic situation than the poverty line; but their prospect had been very bleak. It was like the feeling of riding a roller coaster, but without knowing the end of the fast descending journey. This paper gives us the picture of Indonesia's forestry, the beneficial of forest's project and the finding of global responsibilities to make a better for mankind. Our perspective about the utility of forest is very important to determine the decision we choose."

"This study examines the impacts of fiscal capacity on the acceleration of poverty alleviation through a dynamic simultaneous equations model using empirical data of 23 provinces and conducting historical simulation. The increasing of fiscal capacity from local taxes and tax-revenue sharing have signicant impact on poverty reduction, particularly in agricultural household, which has the largest share in number of poor in Indonesia indicated by larger decline of agricultural headcount index than industrial and trade headcount index. However, the increasing of General Allocator Fund/Dana Alokasi Umum (DAU) has negative impact on agricultural headcount index. The policy implication is to increase revenue from taxation by local governments as the impact is more effective in accelerating poverty reduction.AbstrakStudi ini menganalisis dampak kapasitas fiskal dalam mempercepat pengentasan kemiskinan di Indonesia melalui jalur pertumbuhan pro-poor melalui model persamaan simultan dinamis atas data empiris 23 provinsi dan simulasi historis. Peningkatan kapasitas fiskal dari pajak daerah dan bagi hasil pajak berdampak paling besar dalam menurunkan kemiskinan terutama di rumah tangga pertanian yang mendominasi jumlah penduduk miskin di Indonesia di mana headcount index pertanian turun lebih besar dibandingkan headcount index industri dan perdagangan. Sebaliknya, peningkatan Dana Alokasi Umum (DAU) berdampak negatif pada kemiskinan pertanian. Implikasinya adalah pemerintah daerah perlu meningkatkan penerimaan dari perpajakan karena dampaknya lebih efektif mempercepat pengentasan kemiskinan."

"Indonesia is a diverse country with uneven resource endowment across its provinces. This study examines the effects of human capital investment policies on the promotion of more equitable income growth across provinces. First, the rate of return to education is estimated for each province using the 1976 and 1989 Indonesian National Labor Force Surveys (SAKERNAS). Then, regional economic indicators are used to explain differences in the rates of return to education among provinces and to develop and test hypotheses regarding the contribution of investment in education to personal income growth in different regions in Indonesia.The study finds large differences in the rates of return to education among provinces with the highest rates of return in the poorest provinces. A model of segmented regional labor markets is advanced to explain why wage differences across provinces may exist. The estimates suggest that labor market segmentation was more pronounced for un- or low-educated workers because inter-provincial differences in wages were greater among this group than among more educated workers. Education may reduce regional labor market segmentation. More educated workers may be better able to compete for jobs in other provinces, and therefore more mobile, because they possess the needed language and market skills.Thus, it appears that education not only enhances personal (and national) income, but also promotes greater equity across provinces. Equitable investment in education across provinces is compatible with both equity and efficiency goals in regional economic development."

"The purpose of this study is to get value-BLI Better Life Index as a measure of success of development in Indonesia, and to analyze the relationship between BLI with the human development index HDI, index IPR regional development, and economic growth. BLI formation method through three stages: normalization, weighting, and aggregation. The results show that Indonesia?s BLI is in the lower-middle class. Province of Jakarta, East Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Riau and South Sumatra with the highest value of BLI. BLI size has a positive and significant correlation with IPM and IPR compiled by the BPS-Statistics Indonesia. However, BLI was significantly negatively correlated with economic growth.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan nilai Better Life Index (BLI) sebagai ukuran keberhasilan pembangunan di Indonesia, serta menganalisis hubungan antara BLI dengan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM), Indeks Pembangunan Regional (IPR), dan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Metode pembentukan BLI melalui tiga tahap: normalisasi, pembobotan, dan agregasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai BLI Indonesia termasuk kategori menengah bawah. Provinsi Jakarta, Kalimantan Timur, Sulawesi Utara, Riau, dan Sumatera Selatan dengan nilai BLI tertinggi. Ukuran BLI ini mempunyai korelasi yang positif dan signifikan dengan IPM dan IPR yang disusun oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). Namun demikian, BLI berkorelasi negatif secara signifikan dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi."

"Penguatan daya saing UMKM di Indonesia dinilai penting seiring dengan era keterbukaan persaingan global dengan berlakunya masyarakat ekonomi ASEAN tahun 2015. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa model dan strategi penguatan daya saing internasional UMKM dengan potensi ekonomi local berdasarkan pendekatan LEDI - 9F. Penelitian in menggunakan penedekatan analisis isi dan analytic networking process (ANP). Penelitian ini meneumkan bahwa model penguatan daya saing internasional UMKM dapat dilakukan melalui model kemitraan antara berbagai stakeholders baik ditingkat kabupaten, provisnsi maupun tingkat pusat. Strategi yang dapat digunakan agar UMKM yang memilki potensi ekonomi local mempunyai daya saing internasional adalah optimalisasi penerapan teknologi pertanian, strategi manajerial dan bisnis, strategi integritasi vertical dan horizontal, strategi peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas produk, strategi pendidikan dan pelatiahan tenaga kerja, optimalisasi peran pemerintah dan intansi terkait, pelatihan kewirausahaan bagi UMKM dan calon pengusaha, strategi kemitraan dan pengembangan profesionalitas, dan strategi peningkatan kapasitas."
