"ABSTRAKJurnal berjudul ldquo;Adegan-Adegan Train to Busan Sebagai Simbol Kolektivisme Korea rdquo; ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif karena di dalamnya dijelaskan mengenai makna-makna kolektivisme yang terkandung dalam adegan-adegan film Train to Busan dilihat dari perspektif semiotik pragmatis. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah film Korea Selatan ldquo;Train to Busan rdquo; besutan sutradara Yeon Sang-ho. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan bagaimana budaya kolektivisme yang telah mengakar pada bangsa Korea direpresentasikan melalui adegan-adegan film Korea modern. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu para pembacanya memahami adegan-adegan dalam film Train to Busan sebagai simbol kolektivisme bangsa Korea.

The data in this study is a South Korean movie Train to Busan made by director Yeon Sang ho. The purpose of this study is to explain how the culture of collectivism that has been rooted in the Korean nation is represented through scenes of modern Korean movie. "Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh kolektivisme pada fenomena demam pendidikan di Korea Selatan. Kolektivisme merujuk pada kecenderungan masyarakat untuk mengutamakan kepentingan kelompok daripada individu. Pada masyarakat yang menganut budaya kolektivisme, individu cenderung memiliki konstruksi diri interdependen yang berfokus pada hubungan sosial terutama ingroup. Dalam konteks pendidikan Korea Selatan yang sangat kompetitif, kolektivisme memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam membentuk pola perilaku siswa, tekanan akademik, dan norma sosial terkait pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana budaya kolektivisme diterapkan dalam masyarakat Korea Selatan dan bagaimana perannya dalam unsur-unsur fenomena pendidikan, seperti respons siswa, orang tua, masyarakat, serta sistem pendidikan yang ada. Penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya kolektivisme memengaruhi sekaligus mendasari sikap dan respons siswa, orang tua, dan masyarakat secara keseluruhan dalam fenomena demam pendidikan.

This study analyzes the influence of collectivism in the education fever phenomenon in South Korea. Collectivism refers to a society's tendency to prioritize the interests of the group over the individual. In societies that embrace a culture of collectivism, individuals tend to have interdependent self-constructions that focus on social relationships, especially the ingroup. In the highly competitive context of South Korean education, collectivism has a significant role in shaping student behavior patterns, academic pressures, and social norms related to education. This research aims to explain how the culture of collectivism in South Korean society and how it plays a role in elements of educational phenomena, such as the response of students, parents, society, and the existing education system. The author uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The results of this study show that collectivist culture influences and underlies the attitudes and responses of students, parents and society as a whole in the phenomenon of education fever."

"Penelitian ini menganalisis representasi budaya kolektivisme masyarakat Korea Selatan dalam tren busana musim dingin di Korea Selatan. Kolektivisme merupakan salah satu nilai yang terdapat di tengah masyarakat Korea Selatan yang didasari oleh paham Konfusianisme. Kolektivisme merupakan nilai yang menekankan pada kepentingan dan identitas kolektif di atas individu. Pada masyarakat dengan nilai kolektivisme, individu cenderung memiliki konstruksi diri interdependen yang terfokus pada hubungan dan keselarasan sosial. Nilai kolektivisme yang terdapat di tengah masyarakat Korea Selatan dapat dilihat melalui perilaku mereka terhadap berbagai fenomena sosial, salah satunya tren busana yang berkembang. Oleh karena itu, pertanyaan penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tren busana musim dingin menunjukkan kolektivisme masyarakat Korea Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan studi pustaka dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguak representasi nilai budaya kolektivisme masyarakat Korea Selatan melalui cara mereka menghadapi tren busana musim dingin. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan respon masyarakat Korea Selatan terhadap tren busana musim dingin yang menunjukkan adanya nilai budaya kolektivisme yang didasari oleh konstruksi diri interdependen di masyarakat.

This study analyses the representation of South Korean collectivism seen in South Korea’s past winter fashion trends. Collectivism is one of Confucianism-based values that currently exist in the South Korean society. Collectivism is a value that puts an emphasis on collective identity and interests over individual. In a society with collectivistic values, individuals tend to have the interdependent self construal that focuses on social relationships and harmony. Collectivistic values that prevail in the middle of the South Korean society can be seen through the attitude of the people towards numerous social phenomenons, one of them being the fast-growing fashion trends. Therefore, the research question proposed for this study is how the winter fashion trends show the collectivistic values of the South Korean society. This literature study uses qualitative-descriptive method of research. The purpose of this study is to reveal the representation of collectivistic values of South Koreans through their ways of facing winter fashion trends. The results show the South Koreans’ ways of responsing to the winter fashion trends that exhibit collectivistic values as a result of the interdependent self-construal of the people."

"Skripsi ini membahas perundungan di kalangan pelajar Korea Selatan dan memudarnya nilai-nilai kolektivisme dalam institusi pendidikan Korea. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana perundungan dapat terjadi di kalangan pelajar Korea dan hubungannya dengan memudarnya nilai-nilai kolektivisme dalam institusi pendidikan Korea. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dan menghasilkan data berupa data deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perundungan di kalangan pelajar Korea terjadi akibat beberapa faktor, seperti faktor individu, keluarga, teman, dan pendidikan, serta berhubungan dengan memudarnya nilai kolektivisme dalam institusi pendidikan Korea, seperti harmoni, jeong, dan woori. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah sistem pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter seorang pelajar dan menjadi salah satu faktor utama penyebab terjadinya perundungan di kalangan pelajar Korea. Perundungan tersebut kemudian menyebabkan memudarnya nilai- nilai kolektivisme dalam institusi pendidikan Korea.

The focus of this study is the bullying culture in South Korean students and the declining collectivism values in the education institution. The purpose of this study is to know how bullying can happen in Korean students and its relation with the declining collectivism values in the education institution. This study is a qualitative research and yield descriptive data. The result of this study shows that bullying in Korean student circle happens because of several factors such as personal, family, peer group, and education factors, and there is a relation with declining collectivism values in education institution, such as harmony, jeong, and woori. The conclusion of this study is the education system has an important role in developing student’s character and become one of the most important factor causing bullying in Korean students. Later, bullying is causing the decline of collectivism values in education institution."
