"The Regression Discontinuity (RD) design is one of the most popular and credible research designs for program evaluation and causal inference. "Perbaikan dari sistem management merupakan salah satu usaha yang dilakukan perusahaan, agar dapat merespon perubahan dengan cepat. Standard Operating Procedures atau yang dikenal dengan SOP adalah salah satu perangkat system yang mengatur aktivitas keseharian suatu perusahaan. Dalam pembuatan SOP penting untuk diketahui seberapa efektif dan efisien SOP tersebut. Pengukuran performance adalah salah satu cara untuk mengetahuinya. Dalam penelitian ini pengukuran performance berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria karakteristik SOP yang baik. Penelitian ini juga melakukan perbaikan prosedur berdasarkan data performance yang di dapat dengan metoda menghilangkan, menggabungkan, merubah urutan dan menyederhanakan aktivitas-aktivitas di dalam prosedur. Agar dapat diketahui seberapa jauh pengaruh dari perbaikan terhadap poin-poin performance yang dinilai kurang baik maka penelitian melakukan simulasi menggunakan igrafx untuk mendapatkan data waktu dan biaya aktivitas di dalam pelaksanaan prosedur.
