"This research aims to study the intentions of students in entrepreneurship by using the theory of
planned behavior of Fishbein and Ajzein. This study was conducted in six state universities in Indonesia,
namely University A in Northern Sumatra, University B in Western Sumatra, University C
in Jakarta, University D in Yogyakarta, University E in Eastern Java and University F in Southern
Sulawesi with total sample of 600 final year students. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential
statistics using SPSS 11.5 and structural equation models using LISREL software to test the
models. The result shows that the theory of planned behavior is proven significant to predict students’
entrepreneurial intention simultaneously in those six universities, whereas subjective norm
was the strongest variable in the modeling. However, significant differences were found between
results from each university, when analyzed separately. The model has different partial impact in
each university, whereas the model only worked significantly in University D and F. Meanwhile, in
University A, B and E some variables do not significantly influenced entrepreneurial intention and
for University C, we believe that there are other variables that may explain the students’ entrepreneurial
intention in University C since the model proved insignificantly to predict their entrepreneurial
intention."

"Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh keterampilan kewiraswastaan dan persepsi nilai terhadap intensi berwiraswasta. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan sampel 130 responden mahasiswa Program Ekstensi Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Indonesia. Penyebaran kuesioner dilakukan secara langsung dan melalui e-mail selama bulan Oktober-Desember 2013. Analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan bantuan aplikasi SmartPLS 2.0 yang telah banyak digunakan dalam penelitian terkait kewiraswastaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan kewiraswastaan dan persepsi nilai berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap intensi berwiraswasta.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the influence of Entrepreneurial Skills and Value Perception toward Entrepreneurial Intentions. The study was conducted with a sample of 130 respondents of Economic Faculty Extension Program of University of Indonesia students. The survey was conducted during the month of October-December 2013. Data analysis and hyphotesis testing using the Partial Least Square technique with SmartPLS 2.0 that has been satisfactorily applied on entrepreneurship studies. Analytical results obtained results that Entrepreneurial Skills and Value Perception has a positive significant effect on Entrepreneurial Intentions.

"Entrepreneurship has been the fundamental topics of discussion among the politicians, economists,
and academics. Business creation is especially critical in developing countries to stimulate
economic growth. The present study attempts to examine entrepreneurial inclination among students
who are a potential source of entrepreneurs. The findings of the present research study indicate
that majority of our business students are not entrepreneurial-inclined. They do not seem to
possess strong entrepreneurial characteristics and entrepreneurial skills, and they are not keen in
starting a new business. The roles of higher institutes of education and the government in promoting
entrepreneurship are discussed."

"Fokus dari laporan ini adalah untuk membahas faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi intensi pembelian produk kosmetik Korea dengan menganalisis faktor- faktor seperti kegunaan yang dirasakan dari kosmetik Korea, nilai persepsi , perilaku terhadap daya beli kosmetik Korea , norma subjektif , perilaku terhadap daya beli kosmetik Korea yang dikelola oleh pengaruh paparan dari drama korea , dan norma subjektif yang dikelola oleh pengaruh paparan Korean drama dari riset ini. Kuantitatif analisis ini deskriptif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa perilaku terhadap subjektif kosmetik Korea dan norma telah berpengaruh positif terhadap niat untuk membeli kosmetik Korea, selain itu, nilai persepsi dan kesadaran kosmetik Korea juga secara tidak langsung berpengaruh terhadap niat beli. Namun , hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh paparan dari drama korea juga tidak mempunyai pengaruh pada niat untuk membeli kosmetik Korea.

The focus of this study is to examine the factors that influence purchase intention of Korean cosmetics by analyzing several factors namely awareness Korean cosmetics, perceived value, attitude towards purchasing Korean cosmetics, subjective norm, attitude towards purchasing Korean cosmetics that moderated by exposure of Korean drama, and subjective norm that moderated by exposure of Korean drama.This research is using quantitative descriptive analysis. This research finds that attitude towards Korean cosmetics and subjective norm has positive influence on purchase intention, moreover, perceived value and awareness of Korean cosmetics also indirectly influence on purchase intention. However, this study finds that exposure of Korean drama does not have any influences on purchase intention to Korean cosmetics."

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang perbedaan rata-rata experience (direct, indirect) calon konsumen terhadap keinginan untuk melakukan pendaftaran (register intention) pada website edukasi online www.tryoutui.com, kemudian melihat hubungan register intention terhadap actual register dan terakhir melihat pengaruh register intention terhadap willingness to pay calon konsumen. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain kausal dan deskriptif. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 134 orang.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata experience (direct, indirect) calon konsumen terhadap keinginan untuk melakukan pendaftaran (register intention), terdapat hubungan antara register intention dengan actual register dan register intention memiliki pengaruh terhadap willingness to pay calon konsumen pada website edukasi online www.tryoutui.com.

This research examines the average difference of the candidate customer (direct, indirect) toward their intention to register to an online education website www.tryoutui.com. Other purposes of this research are to examine the correlation between customers intention to register and the actual register, and to find how the register intention influences customers willingness to pay. This research is a quantitative research using causal design and descriptive approach. The sample for this research is 134 persons in total. The result of this research shows that there is no average difference for customer experiences (direct, indirect) toward their intention to register. It finds that there is a correlation between register intention and actual register and register intention influences customers‟ willingness to pay for an online education website www.tryoutui.com."

"Tesis ini membahas kemampuan penggunaan candlestick chart untuk memprediksi trend harga saham dan memperoleh return positif. Candlestick chart adalah salah satu metode analisis teknikal yang telah lama digunakan dalam kontrak futures beras di Jepang sejak tahun 1700-an. Sampel data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data harian empat komponen harga saham (open, high, low, close) emiten LQ45 yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode Januari 1995 sampai Desember 2013. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari website thompsonreuters. Metode statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis, meliputi one mean t-test dan binomial test dengan SPSS 16.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata return dari tiap pola candlestick tidak sama dengan nol, dan nilainya akan semakin baik jika memperhatikan trend dan volume saham diperdagangkan. Probabilitas perolehan return positif tertinggi mencapai 76% untuk volume transaksi harian diatas 4.000.000 lembar. Untuk memperkuat hasil penelitian, dilakukan pengujian atas data sub periode krisis dan non krisis serta sub sampel kelompok harga saham dan ukuran perusahaan.

This thesis explored predictive power of candlestick chart in the Indonesian Stock Market. Candlestick chart is one of technical analysis that has been used in Japanese rice market in the 1700s. The data used in this thesis is four daily price (open, high, low, close) of 45 stock which listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange within January 1995 untill December 2013. The data used is acquired from thompsonreuters website. The statistical method used to test the hypothesis are one mean t-test dan binomial test which is run by SPSS 16.
The result indicate that average return from each candlestick pattern is not zero, and the result is more significant when considering trend and minimal daily volume of stock traded. Probabillity to acquired highest positive return is 76% for data with minimal daily volume 4.000.000 shares. As an attempt to further analysis, we also test data for sub period which is crisis and non crisis and also sub sample test based on range of stock price and company size.

"The ASEAN Open Skies agreement is included in the ASEAN Economic Community?s blueprint and will be implemented in 2015. This study is intended to assist Citilink - an Indonesian low-cost carrier airline - in measuring its level of awareness and analyzing its SWOT towards the ASEAN Open Skies Policy 2015. This descriptive study utilizes quantitative and qualitative approaches and collected data from both primary and secondary sources. Questionnaires were distributed to Citilink Staff and analyzed using IBM SPSS and SPSS Amos. The awareness level of Citilink staff towards the ASEAN Open Skies Policy turned out to be high and the knowledge factor significantly influenced the awareness level. The study identified both benefits and drawbacks to the implementation of the ASEAN Open Skies Policy; however, Citilink already holds a good position as an Indonesian low-cost carrier and must pursue an aggressive strategy to maximize opportunities so that it can compete successfully at the regional level."

"ABSTRAK
Usaha Kecil dan Menengah merupakan tulang punggung perekonomian nasional.
Untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan UKM, sangat penting bagi para pelaku UKM
untuk menarik bakat muda dengan kemampuan manajerial untuk bekerja di UKM.
Akan tetapi UKM masih dianggap sebagai “pilihan kedua” setelah Perusahaan Besar.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan melihat pengaruh dari
sembilan job attributes terhadap pilihan untuk bekerja di UKM, melalui survei
terhadap 250 Mahasiswa dengan bidang studi Ekonomi (Bisnis). Analisis yang
digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) menggunakan Lisrel 8.54.
Hasilnya terdapat empat attributes yang terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap
pilihan mahasiswa untuk bekerja di UKM yaitu gaji, hubungan manajerial,
keterlibatan dalam pengambilan keputusan, dan tanggung jawab yang diberikan.

ABSTRACT
Small and Medium Enterprise known as the backbone of national economics. To
promote SME growth, it’s important for SME to attract young peoples with
managerial skills to work in SME. But SME often viewed as “second choice” after
Multinational Corporations. This study used quantitative method to examines the
influences of the nine job attributes to business job selection towards working in
SME, with a survey amongs 250 University Students with major Economic
(Business). As a result, four attributes : pay, managerial relationships, involvement in
decision-making, and responsibilities given are significantly affect to student’s job
choice towards working in SME."
