Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran yang mendalam dan menyeluruh tentang dinamika manajemen sistem penyiaran Indonesia pada saat ini. Bagaimana Teori Ekonomi Media dikaitkan dengan Teori Tanggung Jawab Sosial yang dipadukan dalam penelitian ini menjadi teori utama penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian Studi Kasus digunakan untuk dapat memberikan deskripsi yang komprehensif akan dinamika tersebut. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan manajemen yang dilakukan oleh sebuah stasiun televisi lokal memang tidak mudah. Banyak hambatan dan kerja keras yang harus dilakukan. Berjaringan dengan Stasiun TV Nasional dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif dalam memaksimalkan proses itu. Bagaimanapun sebuah TV Lokal mempunyai tanggung jawab untuk kepada masyarakat daerahnya, tetapi tentu saja RBTV Yogyakarta adalah Industri TV dimana bisnis mempunyai tuntutan secara ekonomi.
