"Keberadaan migran Indonesia di Taiwan didominasi oleh pekerja pabrik dan sektor rumah tangga. Mereka adalah kelompok minoritas yang berjuang untuk bertahan hidup. Mereka diberi label sebagai kelompok yang tidak berpendidikan, konsumtif, dan tidak memiliki orientasi masa depan. Terdapat kepedulian terhadap kondisi para migran, salah satunya dari kelompok pengusaha kecil Indonesia yang berjiwa sosial. Mereka melakukan aksi kegiatan sosial-keagamaan yang terkait dengan komunitas pekerja migran. Kerjasama/hubungan antara pengusaha dengan pekerja migran ini menciptakan rasa solidaritas kelompok dan membangun rasa kebersamaan di antara mereka. Ada tiga faktor penting pembentuk kondisi ini: posisi marjinal sebagai migran, nilai agama, dan rasa keprihatinan sosial. Melalui analisis pengalaman religius dari pengusaha dan dalam kegiatan sosial-keagamaan, tulisan ini memperlihatkan efek positif antara aktivitas bisnis dan penerapan nilai agama, yang menjadi alat pembentuk identitas diri imigran, rasa solidaritas, kepemimpinan, dan penerapan kerja kolektif masyarakat migran Indonesia di Taiwan. Tulisan ini berdasarkan pengamatan dari kegiatan sehari-hari masyarakat migran dan wawancara mendalam terhadap pengusaha Indonesia pada bulan Juni hingga Desember 2014. Metode penelitian etnografi digunakan dalam penelitian untuk mengeksplorasi sejauh mana proses hubungan sosial migran-pengusaha terhadap pembentukan solidaritas komunitas migran melalui praktek kewirausahaan sosial-religius yang dijalankan.

Indonesian migrants in Taiwan have been dominated by low skilled workers who are labelled uneducated sojourners, consumptive, the misplacement of future orientation, and a minority group struggling to survive. Several individuals concern about the migrant condition, and they are so-called migrant social entrepreneurs. Through social-religious activities and interrelations with the migrant worker community, the Indonesian entrepreneurs have created solidarity for migrant workers’ to generate living conditions that are more favourable and improve their livelihoods. Three important factors shape this condition: the marginal position of second-class migrant workers-immigrants, the virtuous value of religion, and social apprehension. Thorough analysing the religious experiences of entrepreneurs and social-religious activities, this paper shows the positive effects of the relationship between business activities and religious value application, which establish the immigrant self-identity, solidarity, leadership, and collective work formation of the Indonesian migrant community in Taiwan. The primary data is based on the observation of participants’ daily business activities and in-depth interviews with Indonesian entrepreneurs from June to December 2014. The ethnographic research method is applied as a means to explore the effect that migrant-entrepreneur social relations have on the mode of entrepreneurship practices."

"Tujuan penelitian menggambarkan perubahan status dan peran, serta pola eksklusi pada tenaga pendidik apprentice di FISIP UI. Metode kualitatif dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Temuan menunjukkan transformasi struktural menciptakan biaya sosial diantaranya eksklusi sosial pada tenaga pendidik apprentice di FISIP UI. Pasca pelaksanaan skema tenaga pendidik, tenaga pendidik apprentice mendapatkan peningkatan status kerja, namun disertai penurunan kondisi kerja, akses, dan kesempatan kerja. Bervariasinya eksklusi antar individu berhubungan dengan proses rekrutmen, jenis kelamin, posisi kerja di departemen, melemahnya hubungan sosial, serta sulitnya memasuki pasar kerja formal. Eksklusi ini merupakan proses yang tidak dapat dihindarkan untuk menjadi tenaga pendidik tetap dan ini diterima sebagai suatu nilai yang berlaku di universitas.

The aims of this research are to describe the changing roles, statuses and exclusion pattern of apprentice lecturers in FISIP UI. The study used qualitative methods that carried out through in-depth interview, direct observation, and document study. The research findings show that the structural transformation of the university followed by internal labour market flexibilization has created social costs such as social exclusion on apprentice lecturers at FISIP UI. Post implementation of new labor scheme policy, apprentice lecturers got higher working status but accompanied by worsening working condition, access, and opportunities to work. The variation of social exclusion among individuals is related to recruitmen process, gender, job positions in department, weakening social ties, and the difficulties of entering formal labor market. Exclusion is an unavoidable process for the apprentice lecturers for achieving their full time status and even it has been perceived as a given university value.

"Film yang berjudul Tilik merupakan film karya Ravacana Films bekerjasama dengan Dinas Kebudayaan DIY yang disutradarai oleh Wahyu Agung Prasetyo. Film ini ditulis oleh Bagus Sumartono yang terinspirasi oleh keadaan sosial yang terjadi dalam masyarakat pedesaan kota Bantul provinsi Yogyakarta. Film Tilik menceritakan seorang kembang desa yaitu tokoh Dian yang disukai banyak lelaki, namun terdapat ibu-ibu menggunjing membicarakan Dian dalam perjalanan menjenguk “tilik” menuju rumah sakit kota. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan jenis solidaritas sosial yang digambarkan dalam film Tilik. Tujuan mengidentifikasi jenis solidaritas sosial dalam masyarakat dianggap penting untuk mengetahui karakter kelompok masyarakat jawa dalam film Tilik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis semiotika oleh Roland Barthes dan teori solidaritas Emile Durkheim. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah adanya karakteristik solidaritas sosial yang dominan terhadap karakter yang diperankan oleh ibu-ibu Jawa dalam film Tilik. Dialog dan adegan dalam film Tilik merepresentasikan karakteristik jenis solidaritas sosial mekanik yang memiliki indikator seperti; masyarakat yang bersatu, belum adanya pembagian kerja yang ketat, memiliki kesadaran kolektif terhadap nilai dan norma, kepercayaan serta perasaan kelompok bersifat memaksa, dan kehidupan sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, peneliti menyimpulkan film Tilik menggambarkan karakteristik masyarakat jawa pedesaan yang memiliki keunikan tersendiri berbeda halnya dengan masyarkat perkotaan.

The film entitled Tilik is a film by Ravacana Films in collaboration with the DIY Cultural Service, directed by Wahyu Agung Prasetyo. This film was written by Bagus Sumartono who was inspired by the social conditions that occurred in rural communities in the city of Bantul, Yogyakarta province. The film Tilik tells the story of a beautiful girl he is Dian who is liked by many men, but there are women who gossip about Dian on their way to visit “Tilik” to the city hospital. The purpose of this study is to explain the type of social solidarity depicted in the film Tilik. The purpose of identifying the type of social solidarity in society is considered important to know the character of Javanese community groups in the film of Tilik. This research used a descriptive qualitative method with semiotic analysis by Roland Barthes and Emile Durkheim's solidarity theory. The results obtained from this study are the dominant characteristics of social solidarity to the characters played by Javanese mothers in the film Tilik. Dialogue and scenes infilm Tilik's represent the characteristics of the type of mechanical social solidarity which has indicators such as; a united society, the absence of a strict division of labor, a collective awareness of values and norms, coercive group beliefs and feelings, and a simple life. Based on the results of this study, the researchers concluded that the film Tilik depicts the characteristics of the rural Javanese community which have their own uniqueness, which is different from the urban community."

Demonstrasi, protes, tanda tangan petisi, aksi anarkis, dan aksi terorisme
merupakan contoh aksi kolektif. Terdapat dua bentuk aksi kolektif, yakni aksi
damai (normatif) dan kekerasan (tidak-normatif). Intensi aksi kolektif solidaritas
merupakan fokus kajian pada penelitian terkait dengan solidaritas Muslim
Indonesia pada konflik Palestina-Israel. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk menggali
apa saja faktor yang melandasi sekumpulan orang ingin melakukan aksi kolektif
solidaritas bentuk normatif atau tidak-normatif pada konteks konflik Palestina-
Israel. Melalui studi survei korelasional, penelitian ini menganalisis data yang
berasal dari 460 mahasiswa Muslim Indonesia. Data diperoleh dengan survei
online dan paper-and-pencil menggunakan 8 alat ukur yang valid dan reliabel
terdiri dari skala intensi aksi kolektif solidaritas bentuk normatif, intensi aksi
kolektif solidaritas bentuk tidak-normatif, identitas sosial politik, efikasi
kelompok, emosi berbasis kelompok yang terdiri dari emosi marah, merendahkan, bangga, dan berani. Kami menggunakan uji confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), regresi, dan uji pemodelan atau structural equation modeling (SEM) untuk analisis statistik melalui Lisrel pada pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas alat ukur dan semua hipotesis. Hasil temuan penelitian ini adalah identitas sosial politik merupakan sentral dari prediktor aksi kolektif solidaritas bentuk normatif ataupun tidak-normatif. Pada aksi kolektif normatif dipengaruhi secara positif oleh identitas sosial politik, emosi marah berbasis kelompok dan efikasi. Sementara itu, pada aksi kolektif tidak-normatif diprediksi secara positif oleh identitas sosial politik dan secara negatif oleh efikasi kelompok. Temuan ini erat kaitannya dengan konteks penelitian yang terkait dengan isu keadilan, kekerasan suci, dan keagamaan.

ABSTRACT
Demonstration, protest, signing the petition, anarchist acts, and terrorism are the examples of the collective action. There are two forms of such action, the peaceful acts (normative) or violence acts (non-normative). This study examined the intention to conduct solidarity collective action among Indonesian Moslems in the context of Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The factors underlying this intention of people to take a solidarity collective action with normative or non-normative forms in the context of Palestinian-Israel conflict were being investigated. Through a correlational survey study, this study analyzed the predictors of intention to conduct solidarity collection action in 460 Indonesian Moslems students. The data was gathered by online survey and paper-and-pencil methods by using 8 measurements: intention of conducting solidarity normative collective action, intention of solidarity non-normative collection action, social political identity, group-efficacy, group-based emotion scale which consist of anger, contempt, pride, and brave. We administered the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), regression, and structural equation modelling (SEM) in the series of statistical analysis with Lisrel to test the validity and reliability of measurements and to test all our hypotheses. We found that socio-political identity to be a central predictor of intention for conducting solidarity collective action (normative and non-normative). Specifically, intention of solidarity normative collective action is predicted positively by socio-political identity, group-based anger, and group
efficacy. Meanwhile, the intention of conducting solidarity non-normative
collective action is predicted positively by socio-political identity and negatively by group efficacy. This finding is closely related to the context of studies with justice, sacred violence, and religion as the issues."

"Studi literatur ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peran Indonesia yang menjadi negara transit bagi pengungsi dan pencari suaka meskipun tidak meratifikasi Konvensi Pengungsi 1951 dan Protokol 1967. Dihadapi dengan perpindahan secara paksa, ketidakpastian hukum dari negara penerima, dan keterbatasan pemenuhan haknya, para pengungsi dan pencari suaka yang tinggal di Indonesia pun mengalami kerentanan. Urgensi dilakukannya studi literatur ini ialah untuk menganalisis peran, potensi, dan hambatan kewirausahaan sosial untuk bisa diterapkan dalam rangka meningkatkan kesejahteraan mereka. Studi literatur ini dilaksanakan pada tahun 2022 dengan metode penelitian non reaktif (unobtrusive) dan jenis tinjauan pustaka tinjauan konteks dan tinjauan integratif. Peneliti melaksanakan penelusuran terhadap sejumlah literatur mengenai kewirausahaan sosial di Indonesia, penanganan dan regulasi mengenai pengungsi dan pencari suaka di Indonesia, pelaksanaan kewirausahaan sosial yang melibatkan pengungsi asing di Indonesia dan negara lainnya, serta penelitian mengenai respons masyarakat terhadap keberadaan pengungsi asing dan pencari suaka. Melalui studi literatur ini, peneliti mendapati bahwa kewirausahaan sosial berperan dalam memberikan dampak positif secara material dan non material bagi pengungsi dan pencari suaka. Peneliti juga menemukan beberapa faktor yang mendukung implementasi kewirausahaan bagi pengungsi dan pencari suaka di Indonesia, yakni modal yang dimiliki pengungsi berupa keterampilan yang dapat ditingkatkan melalui pelatihan dan pemberdayaan, respons positif dari masyarakat lokal terhadap gagasan pengungsi untuk berwirausaha, upaya untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan isu pengungsi, keberadaan ruang secara informal bagi pengungsi untuk merintis usaha, model kewirausahaan sosial NPO (Non-Profit Organization) yang bisa diterapkan, serta model pemberian hak bekerja secara terbatas yang bisa dipertimbangkan secara nasional. Namun, peneliti juga mengidentifikasi adanya beberapa faktor yang berpotensi untuk menghambat implimentasi tersebut, yakni hambatan keterbatasan modal finansial yang dimiliki pengungsi, kesulitan berbahasa Indonesia yang dialami pengungsi, miskonsepsi dan kesadaran yang rendah akan isu pengungsi oleh masyarakat lokal, dan larangan bagi pengungsi dan pencari suaka untuk bekerja secara formal. Hasil studi literatur ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam kajian kewirausahaan sosial pada mata kuliah Dimensi Sosial Ekonomi bagi Kesejahteraan Sosial pada program studi Ilmu Kesejahteraan Sosial FISIP UI, dalam konteks fenomena keberadaan pengungsi dan pencari suaka di Indonesia.

This literature study is prompted by the role of Indonesia as a transit country for refugees and asylum seekers despite being a non-signatory country to the 1951 Refugee Convention and the 1967 Protocol. Faced with forced displacement, legal uncertainty from their country of asylum, and limited fulfillment of their rights, refugees and asylum seekers living in Indonesia experience vulnerability. The urgency of this study is to analyze the the role, potential, and barriers of social entrepreneurship to be implemented in order to improve their well-being. This literature is conducted in 2022 with a nonreactive (unobtrusive) research method that combines context review and integrative review. The author reviews a number of literatures regarding social entrepreneurship in Indonesia, refugee management and policies in Indonesia, the implementation of social entrepreneurship involving refugees in Indonesia and other countries, as well as research papers on community responses to the presence of foreigners and asylum seekers. In this literature study, the author finds that social entrepreneurship plays a role in providing material and non-material positive impacts on refugees and asylum seekers. The author also finds that there are several factors that support the implementation of social enterpreneurship for refugees and asylum seekers in Indonesia, namely the capital owned by refugees in the form of skills that can be improved through empowerment programs, positive responses from local communities to the idea of entrepreneurship for refugees, efforts to increase public awareness of refugee issues, the existence of an informal space for refugees to start a business, an NPO (Non-Profit Organization) social entrepreneurship model that can be applied, as well as a models that allow limited work rights for refugees that can be considered to be applied nationally. However, this research also finds several factors that might hinder the implementation, namely the limitations of the financial capital owned by refugees, difficulties in speaking Indonesian experienced by refugees, misconceptions and low awareness of refugee issues by local communities, and prohibitions for refugees and refugees asylum to work formally. The findings of this literature study are expected to contribute to the study of social entrepreneurship in the Socio-Economic Dimensions for Social Welfare course in the Social Welfare study program of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences University of Indonesia, in the context of the phenomenon of the existence of refugees and asylum seekers in Indonesia."

"ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas strategi intervensi sosial dalam pengembangan potensi
pemuda di Purna Caraka Muda (PCMI) DKI Jakarta. Pemuda yang tergabung
dalam organisasi ini telah memiliki potensi dasar, namun jika tidak dikembangkan
dan berhenti setelah program tanpa ada keberlanjutan maka perkembangan potensi
dalam diri pemuda tidak akan maksimal. Dalam upaya pengembangan potensi
tersebut dilakukan berbagai strategi yakni empiris-rasional, normatif-re-edukatif
dan power.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa PCMI DKI Jakarta masih cenderung
mempergunakan strategi empiris-rasional, namun dalam pelaksanaannya juga
telah menerapkan strategi normatif-re-edukatif namun belum terstruktur dan
terlembaga dengan sistematik. Penelitian ini menyarankan bahwa penerapan
strategi yang paling efektif dalam pengembangan potensi yakni strategi normatifre-
edukatif berupa program-program pendidikan dan pelatihan sehingga bisa lebih
mendorong perubahan pada diri individu dalam kelompok secara berkelanjutan.

ABSTRACT
This thesis discusses about the strategies of social intervention in the potential
development of youth in Purna Caraka Muda Indonesia (PCMI) DKI Jakarta. Youth who
are members of this organization has had the basic potential, but if it stop after the
program without sustainability the potential in the young man will not be maximized. In
developing the potential of various strategies that do empirical-rational,
normative-re-educative and power.
This study is a descriptive qualitative research design. Based on the survey results
revealed that the PCMI Jakarta still tended to use empirical-rational strategy, but in
practice also has implemented a strategy of normative-re-educative but has not been
systematically structured and institutionalized. This study suggests that the application of
the most effective strategies in the potential development is a normative-re-educative,
programs such as education and training so they can push changes to the individual in a
group on an ongoing basis."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan mekanisme perlindungan sosial (social
assistance, social insurance, social care, dan informal social protection) yang dapat dilihat dari bentuk-bentuk konversi kapital seperti kapital sosial, kapital politik, kapital ekonomi, kapital personal, kapital budaya, dan kapital digital. Penelitian dilakukan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di tiga Paguyuban Wayang Kulit di Yogyakarta yakni Paguyuban Wayang Kulit WL, Paguyuban Wayang Kulit GP, dan Paguyuban Wayang Kulit SK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi, dan etnografi digital (digital ethnography) media sosial seperti Youtube dan Instagram. Ketiga Paguyuban Wayang Kulit tersebut dipilih karena mereka masih mampu bertahan di masa pandemi Covid-19 dengan tetap menyelenggarakan pementasan wayang kulit secara virtual. Hasil temuan penelitian ini adalah bentuk perlindungan sosial yaitu social assistance, social insurance, social care, dan informal social protection bisa berbentuk formal maupun informal, yang ditemukan pada bentuk-bentuk kapital yang ada di Paguyuban Wayang Kulit. Kapital-kapital tersebut mendukung para paguyuban melakukan pementasan virtual di masa pandemi Covid-19. Terlebih lagi, kapital digital bermanfaat secara langsung sebagai perlindungan sosial di masa pandemi Covid-19,
ketika ada pelarangan pertunjukan seni budaya secara luring yang menimbulkan
kerumunan, maka pementasan wayang kulit virtual menjadi solusinya. Dengan demikian, pemerintah perlu membuat kebijakan yang mengarah kepada dukungan kapital digital untuk para seniman tradisi. Apalagi, di era teknologi saat ini, seniman harus beradaptasi dengan teknologi agar dapat bertahan dari guncangan sosial maupun ekonomi, dan mengikuti perkembangan zaman

This study aims to describe social protection mechanisms (social assistance, social insurance, social care, and informal social protection) which can be seen from forms of capital’s conversion, such as; social capital, political capital, economic capital, personal capital, cultural capital, and digital capital. The study was conducted during the Covid- 19 pandemic in three Wayang Kulit Associations in Yogyakarta, namely the WL Wayang
Kulit Association, the GP Wayang Kulit Association, and the SK Wayang Kulit
Association. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach with data collection techniques with interviews, observations, and digital ethnography social media such as Youtube and Instagram. The three Wayang Kulit Paguyuban were chosen because they were still able to survive the Covid-19 pandemic by continuing to hold virtual shadow puppet shows. The findings of this study are forms of social protection, namely social assistance, social insurance, social care, and informal social protection can be in the form of formal or informal, which are found in the forms of capital that exist in the Paguyuban Wayang Kulit. These capitals support community groups to perform virtual performances during the Covid-19 pandemic. Moreover, digital capital is directly useful as social protection during the Covid-19 pandemic, when there
is a ban on offline cultural arts performances that cause crowds, then virtual shadow puppet performances are the solution. Thus, the government needs to make policies that lead to digital capital support for traditional artists. Moreover, in the current era of technology, artists must adapt to technology in order to survive social and economic shocks, and keep up with the modernization.

"Studi ini mengevaluasi program sosial kewirausahaan terpadu Jakpreneur. Jakpreneur adalah program yang diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah provinsi DKI Jakarta untuk memberdayakan masyarakat melalui kegiatan berwirausaha. Program ini diberlakukan dalam rangka menumbuhkembangkan potensi kewirausahaan yang ada di masyarakat lokal dengan bantuan berbagai modal yang diusahakan oleh pemprov DKI Jakarta. Tujuan studi evaluasi ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana pemberdayaan masyarakat dicapai melalui program ini. Cakupan studi ini adalah peserta program Jakpreneur yang berdomisili di Jakarta Utara dan pengelola program. Penilaian kinerja program dianalisis dari segi pemberdayaan masyarakat, seperti enabling, empowering, dan protecting yang dirasakan oleh penerima manfaat. Selain itu, penilaian kinerja dilihat dari segi kapasitas sumber daya internal program, seperti societal, process, decision, dan system yang diidentifikasi oleh pengelola program. Evaluasi yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya dan pemberitaan di media Indonesia mengenai program ini menyatakan bahwa Jakpreneur dinilai efektif dan membantu pengembangan usaha masyarakat yang tergabung dalam program. Akan tetapi, evaluasi tersebut memiliki kelemahan karena terbatas di wilayah tertentu dengan jumlah responden yang terbatas dan berdasarkan pendapat pengelola program tersebut. Untuk memperoleh penilaian yang objektif, peneliti mengevaluasi dari segi kinerja, implementasi, dan aksesibilitas program kepada penerima manfaat program dan pengelola program. Evaluasi ini meliputi sembilan informan yang terdiri dari lima orang penerima manfaat/anggota program dan empat orang pengelola program. Informan dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling berdasarkan wilayah yang ada di Jakarta Utara. Program jakpreneur telah berjalan dan berhasil membina dan membantu ratusan wirausahawan mengembangkan usaha mereka. Akan tetapi, perlu ada perbaikan pada dimensi enabling dan protecting karena masih ditemukan anggota yang kurang mendapat pendampingan yang cukup guna mengoptimalkan usahanya.

This study evaluates Jakpreneur's integrated social entrepreneurship program. Jakpreneur is a program organized by the provincial government of DKI Jakarta to empower the community through entrepreneurship activities. This program is implemented in order to develop the entrepreneurial potential that exists in local communities with the help of various capitals managed by the DKI Jakarta provincial government. The purpose of this evaluation study is to find out how community empowerment is achieved through this program. The scope of this study is Jakpreneur participants who live in North Jakarta and program managers. The program performance assessment is analyzed in terms of community empowerment, such as enabling, empowering, and protecting that is perceived by the beneficiaries. In addition, performance appraisal is viewed from the perspective of the capacity of the program's internal resources, such as societal, process, decision, and system identified by the program manager. Previous evaluations and reports in the Indonesian media regarding this program state that Jakpreneur is considered effective and helps the development of community businesses that are members of the program. However, this evaluation has a weakness because it is limited to certain areas with a limited number of respondents and is based on the opinion of the program manager. To obtain an objective assessment, researchers evaluate in terms of performance, implementation, and program accessibility to program beneficiaries and program managers. This evaluation includes nine informants consisting of five program beneficiaries/members and four program managers. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling method based on the area in North Jakarta. The Jakpreneur program has been running and has succeeded in fostering and helping hundreds of entrepreneurs develop their businesses. However, there needs to be improvements in the enabling and protecting dimensions because there are still members who do not receive sufficient assistance to optimize their business."
