"Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang implementasi kebijakan bagi penyandang disabilitas yang diterapkan pada fasilitas dalam sebuah institusi pendidikan yaitu peprustakaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan bagaimana perpustakaan pusat UI dalam mengimplementasikan kebijakan aksesibilitas terkait dengan fasilitas yang aksesibel terkait dengan institusi pendidikan yang inklusif. Peneliti memilih perpustakaan pusat sebagai objek penelitian, karena perpustakaan pusat UI merupakan tempat bagi seluruh mahasiswa dan mahasiswi UI. Dalam skripsi ini, peneliti melihat bagaimana perpustakaan pusat UI dalam mengimplementasikan kebijakan pemerintah terkait dengan aksesibilitas berdasarkan jenis ketunaan yang dimiliki oleh penyandang disabilitas. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dnegan teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara mendalam, dan observasi atau pengamatan. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan dengan pihak-pihak terkait. Kemudian observasi yang dilakukan dalma penelitian ini dilakukan melalu pengamatan terhadap sarana dan prasarana yang terdapat di perpustakaan pusat UI. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa peprustakaan pusat UI belum menyediakan sarana dan prasarana yang aksesibel bagi penyandang disabilitas berdasarkan kebutuhan khususnya.

This study examines the implementation of accessibility policies for people with disabilities applied in an educational institution facility; the central library. The objective of this study is to describe how the UI library implements accessibility policies related with the facility in an accessible education institutions associated with inclusive education. Central library of UI was chosen because, central library of UI is a gathering place for the entire students in UI.

This reasearch examines how government policies regarding accessibility for people with disabilities based on the types of disabilities are implemented in the central library of UI. The methodology for examining this is using a qualitative approach; through data collection along with in-depth interviews with related parties and site observation. The observation was done by observing the existing facilities and infrastructures in the Central Library of UI.

This study resulted a conclusion that the central library of UI has not provided adequate facilities and infrastructure for people with disabilities."
