"SURVEI KELAUTAN DI PERAIRAN SAMUDERA HINDIA SELATAN JAWA BARAT (PERAIRAN SELAT PANAITAN SELATAN). Telah dilakukan survei kelautan yang berhubungan dengan dispersi radionuklida di perairan laut Samudera Hindia. Penilitian dilakukan dengan cara mengambil sampel air laut untuk mengetahui konsentrasi 137Cs dan melakukan pengukuran CTD. Untuk mengetahui kondisi fisis oseanografi daerah penelitian, maka dilakukan pengambilan data temperatur, salinitas, dan densitas secara vertikal dengan menggunakan CTD di tiga titik pemantauan. Data hasil rekaman CTD dapat digunakan sebagai bahan untuk menganalisis pola arus yang terjadi di lokasi penelitian. Menggunakan software Ocean Data View (ODV), data CTD diolah dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik terhadap kedalaman. Konsentrasi 137Cs di perairan Selat Panaitan – Selatan Garut dengan kisaran 0,14 – 0,30 mBq/L. Konsentrasi tersebut belum mengindikasikan dampak kecelakaan Fukushima walaupun pola arus global mampu mentranspor 137Cs dari sumber (Fukushima) ke perarain Indonesia. Arus yang berada di Samudera Pasifik masuk ke perairan Indonesia melalui sistem ARLINDO. Nilai konsentrasi terendah dan tertinggi terjadi karena perbedaan jarak stasiun penelitian dengan ARLINDO. Kata kunci: survei, samudra hindia, 137Cs ABSTRACT SURVEY OF MARINE IN SOUTH INDIAN OCEAN – EAST JAVA (STRAIT OF SOUTH PANAITAN). Marine surveys have been conducted relating to the dispersion of radionuclides in the marine waters of the Indian Ocean. The studies conducted by taking a sample of sea water to determine the concentration of 137Cs and CTD measurements. To determine the physical oceanographic conditions of the study area, then the data collection of temperature, salinity and density vertically using the CTD in three monitoring points have been performanced. CTD data recording can be used as material for analyzing the flow patterns that occur in the study site . Using the software Ocean Data View ( ODV ), CTD Data processed and displayed in graphical form on the depth . The concentration of 137Cs in Panaitan Strait - South Garut with a range of 0.14 to 0.30 mBq/L. This concentration of 137Cs has not indicated the impact the Fukushima accident although the global flow pattern although capable of transporting 137Cs source (Fukushima ) to Indonesia marine waters. The current of the Pacific Ocean waters can enter Indonesia through Arlindo system. Value of the lowest and highest concentrations occur due to differences in the distance with Arlindo research station . Keywords: Survey, Indian Ocean, 137Cs"

"ABSTRAK
Karakteristik massa air di perairan sekitar Maluku dipengaruhi oleh massa air dari Samudera Pasifik. Parameter yang digunakan untuk melihat perubahan ketika kejadian El Nino maupun La Nina adalah suhu permukaan laut, salinitas dan pola T-S Diagram. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji hubungan karakter massa air di Samudera Pasifik dan laut Banda pada tahun 1993 hingga 2000 dengan kondisi Iklim di daerah Maluku. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan data CTD dari World Ocean Database dan data iklim dari The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts di perairan sekitar MalukuTerdapat dua jenis massa air yang mempengaruhi laut Banda, dapat dilihat dari dua tipe densitas, ?t = 26.0 kg/m3 dengan salinitas maksimal 34.9 psu pada kedalaman 230 m merupakan massa air dari Pasifik Selatan. Kemudian, nilai densitas sebesar ?t = 23.7 kg/m3 dengan salinitas maksimal 34.83 psu pada kedalaman 127 m, massa air dari Pasifik Utara. Hubungan antara massa air dengan iklim yaitu ketika terjadi El Nino tahun 1998 nilai salinitas permukaan 33.8 PSU, lebih tinggi dari pada salinitas pada saat kondisi normal yang berkisar antara 33.65 psu. Sedangkan pada saat La Nina tahun 2000 nilai salinitas permukaan rata ndash; rata 34.3 psu, lebih tinggi daripada kondisi normal yang berkisar antara 34.56 PSU.

ABSTRACT
Water mass characteristics in the waters around Maluku influenced by the water mass from the Pacific Ocean. The parameters used to see the changes when the El Nino and La Nina are the sea surface temperature, salinity and T S diagram patterns. Generally, this research aims to examine the relationship of water mass character in the Pacific Ocean and the Banda Sea in 1993 to 2000 normal condition, El Nino and La Nina events to the climate conditions in the Maluku. The study was conducted using data CTD World Ocean Database and climate data from the The European Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasts in the waters around MalukuThere are two types of water masses affect the Banda Sea, which can be seen from the two types of density, each of t 26.0 kg m3 with a salinity maximum 34.9 PSU at a depth of 230 m, shows the influence of the water mass of the South Pacific. The density of t 23.7 kg m3 with a maximum salinity 34.83 psu at a depth of 127 m, shows the influence of the water mass of the North Pacific. The relationship between the water mass and the climate are clearly shown during the 1998 El Ni o, surface salinity value 33.8 psu higher than normal conditions 33.65 psu . Meanwhile, during the La Nina at 1999 2000 average value of surface salinity 34.3 psu , are higher than normal conditions 34.56 psu ."

"Estuari merupakan wilayah terjadinya pencampuran antara masa air laut dengan air tawar dari daratan sehingga memiliki keunikan tersendiri karena pada estuari terbentuk air payau dengan salinitas yang berfluktuasi. Wilayah estuari sangat dinamis karena selalu terjadi perubahan lingkungan fisik maupun biologis. Penentuan zonasi perairan estuari di lapangan sulit untuk dilakukan sehingga penggunaan data penginderaan jauh lebih efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menganalisis nilai sebaran salinitas hasil algoritma penduga sebaran salinitas yang paling sesuai di estuari Teluk Ciletuh, menganalisis hubungan antara parameter fisik oseanografi dan salinitas, dan menganalisis batas zonasi estuari Teluk Ciletuh dengan sebaran salinitas permukaan perairan berdasarkan bulan basah dan bulan kering. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui nilai salinitas diperoleh dari pengolahan citra Sentinel-2 di tahun 2019 dan 2020 dengan membandingkan algoritma penduga sebaran salinitas yaitu algoritma Cilamaya dan algoritma Cimandiri. Analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis statistik dengan melakukan uji korelasi untuk mendapatkan sebaran salinitas berdasarkan perhitungan algoritma yang cocok, analisis spasial untuk mendapatkan batas zonasi estuari berdasarkan bulan basah dan bulan kering, serta analisis statistik deskriptif untuk menganalisis sebaran salinitas berdasarkan faktor fisik oseanografi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, didapatkan bahwa Algoritma Cilamaya lebih cocok digunakan di perairan Teluk Ciletuh. Pemetaan sebaran salinitas permukaan laut tersebut membentuk batas estuari. Curah hujan yang diklasifikasikan dalam bulan basah dan bulan kering mempengaruhi sebaran salinitas yang juga berpengaruh terhadap zonasi perairan dan batas wilayah estuari.

Estuary is an area where sea water is mixed with fresh water from the mainland so that it is unique because it forms brackish water with fluctuating salinity. The estuary area is very dynamic because there are always changes in the physical and biological environment. It is difficult to determine the zoning of estuary waters in the field so that the use of sensing data is much more effective. The aims of this study was to analyze the salinity distribution of the most suitable salinity distribution estimation algorithm in the estuary of Ciletuh Bay, to analyze the relationship between the physical parameters of oceanography and salinity, and to analyze the boundaries of the Ciletuh Bay area with the distribution of surface salinity based on wet months and dry months. The method used to measure the salinity value obtained from Sentinel-2 image processing in 2019 and 2020 is by comparing the spread of salinity estimation methods, namely the Cilamaya algorithm and the Cimandiri algorithm. The data analysis used is statistical analysis by conducting trials to obtain the distribution of salinity based on the calculation of a suitable algorithm, spatial analysis to obtain estuary zoning boundaries based on wet and dry months, and descriptive statistical analysis to analyze the distribution of salinity based on physical oceanographic factors. Based on valid results, it was found that the Cilamaya Algorithm is more suitable for use in the waters of Ciletuh Bay. Mapping the distribution of sea surface salinity forms the estuary boundary. Rainfall classified into wet months and dry months affects the distribution of salinity which also affects the zoning of waters and the boundaries of the estuary area."

"[Pesatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi dan penduduk di daerah pesisir menjadikan kebutuhan akan ruang yang lebih luas sehingga reklamasi kawasan pesisir menjadi pilihan utama yang banyak ditempuh Pemanfaatan pasir laut yang berlebihan dan tidak terkendali dapat mengganggu ekosisitem bahkan merusak daya dukungnya Penelitian ini mengkaji gangguan pada produktivitas perairan Teluk Banten Kabupaten Serang yang disebabkan kegiatan penambangan pasir laut di tahun 2004 2015 Masalah penelitian adalah belum adanya kajian ilmiah lingkungan mengenai pengaruh penambangan pasir laut di Teluk Banten Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif Data fisik dianalisis menggunakan korelasi dan regresi polinomial orde 2 dan data wawancara dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan hubungan yang kuat r 0 9835 antara penambangan pasir laut dengan peningkatan kekeruhan perairan Teluk Banten dengan persamaan regresi y x 90 8494 9 2392 10 3 x 1 3059 10 7 x2 Penambangan pasir laut juga signifikan mengurangi produktivitas perairan Teluk Banten r 0 9726 dengan persamaan regresi y x 2 948 3 21 10 7 x ndash 8 26 10 14 x2 Hasil penelitian juga memperlihatkan persepsi negatif masyarakat nelayan terhadap aktivitas penambangan pasir laut Menurut mereka penambangan pasir laut berdampak pada aktivitas penangkapan ikan karena tidak dapat menangkap ikan di perairan dekat desa mereka lagi.

Serang District which is caused by marine sand mining activity in 2004 2015 According to preliminary finding there is no scientific studies about the impact of marine sand mining activity in Banten Coastal Bay yet This research is using quantitative approach with quantitative and qualitative method The physical aspect has been analyzed using statistically correlation and 2nd order of polynomial regression Interview data which is analyzed by a descriptive method somehow providing some clues The result shows the strong correlation r 0 9835 between marine sand mining production and the increasing of water turbidity in Banten Coastal Bay which represent by a regression equation y x 90 8494 9 2392 10 3x 1 3059 10 7x2 Marine sand mining production is also significant reduce r 0 9726 "Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai perilaku lumba-lumba hidung botol (Tursiops aduncus) di Ocean Dream Samudra (ODS) Jakarta Utara pada tanggal 18 Juni 2015–8 Juli 2015. Tursiops aduncus dikenal sebagai hewan yang memiliki kemampuan beradaptasi yang tinggi terhadap kondisi lingkungan sekitarnya. Hal tersebut memungkinkan Tursiops aduncus dapat bertahan hidup pada habitat buatan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghitung proporsi waktu aktivitas harian dan menganalisis bentuk-bentuk perilaku adaptasi Tursiops aduncus di kolam Underwater Theater ODS, serta merujuk perilaku di habitat alaminya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode focal animal sampling dengan interval waktu 10 menit tanpa jeda. Individu yang diamati adalah empat ekor Tursiops aduncus jantan bernama Kuning, Ungu, Biru dan Specta yang terdapat pada kolam Underwater Theater ODS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase perilaku travelling dan perilaku feeding tertinggi ditunjukkan oleh Kuning (65,71%) dan (0,2%), persentase perilaku resting dan perilaku playing paling tinggi ditunjukan oleh Specta (25,68%) dan (2,67%), serta persentase social interaction dan sexual aggression tertinggi ditunjukan oleh Ungu (15,35%) dan (4,94%). Meskipun kondisi pada habitat buatan berbeda dengan habitat aslinya, Tursiops aduncus mampu menyesuikan diri melalui perubahan perilaku yang terlihat pada masing-masing perilaku yang terjadi dan masih mempertahanklan perilaku alaminya.

The behavioural study of Indo Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins Tursiops aduncus at the Ocean Dream Samudra Ancol North Jakarta had been done Tursiops aduncus known as animals that have high adaptability to the environmental conditions This adaptability allows Tursiops aduncus to survive on an artificial habitat The purpose of this research were to calculate the proportion of time budget in a daily activity and analyze forms of behavioural adaptation of Tursiops aduncus in the Underwater Theater ODS and also refers to their natural behaviour Method used in this study is focal animal sampling with interval of time 10 minutes continuously Objects on this study are four male Tursiops aduncus named Kuning Ungu Biru and Specta in the Underwater Theater pool ODS The result on this study is showed that the highest presentation of travelling and feeding behaviour are showed by Kuning 65 71 and 0 2 highest presentation of resting and playing behaviour are showed by Specta 25 68 and 2 67 also highest presentation of social interaction dan sexual aggression behaviour is showed by Ungu 15 35 and 4 94 Although the conditions in the artificial habitat different with the naturally habitat Tursiops aduncus is able to adapt through changes in behavior that observed at each behavior happened and still preserving it rsquo s natural behaviour."
