"Selama menghadapi proses adaptasi, mahasiswa tahun pertama rentan mengalami stres akademik yang tinggi. Berbagai usaha dapat dilakukan untuk menurunkan pengaruh stres akademik terhadap subjective well being (SWB) salah satunya dengan memiliki tingkat optimisme yang tinggi. Dalam penelitian ini akan dilihat bagaimana pengaruh optimisme dalam memoderasi pengaruh stres akademik terhadap SWB. Terdapat 4 alat ukur yang digunakan, meliputi The Positive Affect and Negative Affect Schedule (Watson et al. 1988), The Satisfaction With Life Scale (Diener et al. 1985), Student-life Stress Inventory (Gadzella, 1994), dan Life Orientation Test-Revised (Scheier & Carver, 1994). Dari 215 partisipan ditemukan bahwa stres akademik secara signifikan menurunkan SWB (t(213)=-7,119, p<0,05), dimana 18,8% varians dari skor SWB dapat dijelaskan oleh stres akademik. Optimisme secara signifikan meningkatkan subjective well-being (t(213)=5,271, p<0,05), dimana 11,1% varians dari skor SWB dapat dijelaskan oleh optimisme. Walaupun demikian, peningkatan optimisme tidak memperlemah pengaruh stres akademik terhadap subjective well-being pada mahasiswa tingkat pertama (t(211)=0,491, p>0,05), dimana 24,5% dari skor SWB dapat dijelaskan oleh stres akademik dan optimisme. Penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat untuk memberikan bahan dalam penyusunan intervensi pada mahasiswa yang memiliki masalah dalam prestasi akademis yang disebabkan oleh stres akademis.

The first-year undergraduate students are prone to academic stress. Various ways can be done to reduce the influence of academic stress on subjective well-being, one of which by having a high level of optimism. This study examined the effect of academic stres on subjective well-being with optimism as the moderator among first year undergraduates. This study used 4 measures, which were the Positive Affect and Negative Affect Schedule (Watson et al. 1988), the Satisfaction With Life Scale (Diener et al. 1985), the Student-Life Stress Inventory (Gadzella, 1994), and the Life Orientation Test-Revised (Scheier & Carver, 1994). This study found that academic stress descreased subjective well-being significantly (t(213)=-7,119, p<0,05), where 18,8% of SWB variance was explained by academic stress. On the other hand, optimism increased subjective well-being significantly (t(213)=5,271, p<0,05), where 11,1% of SWB variance was explained by optimism. Nevertheless, the increase in optimism did not lessen the influence of academic stress on subjective well-being among first-year undergraduate students (t(211)=0,491, p>0,05), where 24,5% of SWB variance was explained by academic stress and optimism. This research is useful in providing material for the preparation of interventions on students who have problems in academic performance due to academic stress."

"Dalam kehidupan perkuliahan di universitas, stres akademik senantiasa menjadi faktor penghalang bagi mahasiswa untuk mencapai subjective well being yang tinggi. Self compassion diperkenalkan sebagai salah satu variabel yang berpotensi dapat melindungi mahasiwa dari stres akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana efek self compassion dalam memoderasi hubungan antara stres akademik dan subjective well being. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 251 mahasiswa dengan rentang usia berkisar antara 18-23 tahun (M=21,18, SD=1.33). Hasil analisis korelasi Pearson menunjukan bahwa stres akademik secara signfikan berkorelasi negatif dengan subjective well being. Hasil analisis moderasi menggunakan PROCESS Macro Hayes menunjukan bahwa self compassion tidak berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap hubungan antara stres akademik dan subjective well being. Hasil penelitian, implikasi, limitasi, serta saran untuk penelitian kedepannya didiskusikan.

In university life, academic stress is always become a major obstacle for students to achieve high subjective well-being. Self-compassion is introduced as a variable that has the potential to protect students from academic stress. This study aims to see how the effect of self- compassion in moderating the relationship between academic stress and subjective well-being. The participants of this study were 251 students with an age range ranging from 18-23 years (M=21.18, SD=1.33). The results of Pearson correlation analysis shows that academic stress is significantly negatively correlated with subjective well being. The results of the moderating analysis using PROCESS Macro Hayes show that self-compassion does not contribute significantly to the relationship between academic stress and subjective well-being. The research results, implications, limitations, and suggestions for future research are discussed."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara stres akademis dengan psychological well being pada mahasiswa tahun pertama Universitas Indonesia. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 122 mahasiswa tingkat pertama berusia 17-20 yang sedang menempuh semester dua di Universitas Indonesia. Pengukuran psychological well-being menggunakan alat ukur Ryff?s Psychological Well- Being Scale (1995) yang telah diadaptasi oleh Yorike dan rekan-rekan payung penelitian psychological well-being tahun 2011. Pengukuran stres akademis menggunakan alat ukur Student-Life Stress Inventory yang dikembangkan oleh Gadzella (1994) dan telah diadaptasikan ke dalam konteks bahasa Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil penghitungan korelasi Pearson Product Moment, diperoleh hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan antara stres akademis dan psychological well -being pada mahasiswa tahun pertama Universitas Indonesia. Semakin tinggi skor stres akademis yang dimiliki maka semakin tinggi skor psychological wellbeing, begitu pula sebaliknya.

The objective of this research is to find the corelation between academic stress and psychological well-being among first-year college students in Universitas Indonesia . The participant for this research were 122 students aged 17-20 whose studied at the second term in Universitas Indonesia. Psychological well-being was measured with Ryff?s Psychological well-being Scale (1995) which was constructed by Carol D. Ryff and had been adapted to Indonesian context by Yorike and colleagues in 2011. Academic stress was measured with Student-Life Stress Inventory which constructed by Gadzella and had been adapted to Indonesian context. The coefficient of Pearson Product Moment correlation showed that there is negative and significant correlation between psychological well being and academic stress among first-year college students in Universitas Indonesia. The more academic stress suffered by first-year college students, the lower score of psychological well being they have and vice versa."

"Berdasarkan data dari Rumah Sakit yang beroperasi di Riau, didapatkan bahwa perawat kontrak memiliki Job Performance yang rendah. Selain itu, penelitian memberikan informasi bahwa Subjective Well-being perawat memiliki skor yang rendah. Dalam hal ini, terdapat kemungkinan bahwa Job Insecurity dan Burnout yang dialami oleh Perawat Kontrak merupakan penyebabnya didukung oleh beberapa penelitian terdahulu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membahas pengaruh Job Insecurity dan Burnout terhadap Subjective Well-being dan Job Performance pada Perawat Kontrak di Rumah Sakit dengan menggunakan variabel moderasi berupa Psychological Capital karena mengacu pada penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya yang menyebutkan bahwa Psychological Capital mampu mengurangi Job Insecurity yang diterima dan juga akan berpengaruh pada penurunan Burnout. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel penelitian berupa perawat kontrak yang bekerja di Rumah Sakit yang beroperasi Riau. Analisis data melibatkan uji reliabilitas, uji validitas, uji deskriptif, dan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan menggunakan software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Job Insecurity dan Burnout terbukti berpengaruh secara negatif signifikan terhadap Job Performance dengan cara menurunkan Subjective Well-being dari Perawat kontrak. Selain itu, dimensi-dimensi dari variabel Psychological Capital seperti Hope dan Resilience diketahui mampu menurunkan dampak negatif yang di sebabkan oleh Job Insecurity dan Burnout terhadap Subjective Well-being dan Job Performance perawat kontrak. Dilain sisi dimensi Self-efficacy hanya mampu menurunkan dampak negatif dari Burnout terhadap variabel lainnya sedangkan Optimism hanya mampu menurunkan dampak negatif Job Insecurity terhadap variabel lainnya.

Based on data from hospitals operating in Riau, it was found that contract nurses have low Job Performance. In addition, research provides information that nurses' Subjective Well-being has a low score. In this case, there is a possibility that Job Insecurity and Burnout experienced by Contract Nurses is the cause supported by several previous studies. This research was conducted to discuss the effect of Job Insecurity and Burnout on Subjective Well-being and Job Performance in Contract Nurses at Hospitals by using a moderating variable in the form of Psychological Capital because it refers to previous studies which stated that Psychological Capital is able to reduce Job Insecurity received and will also affect the decrease in Burnout. This research will be conducted using a quantitative approach with research samples in the form of contract nurses who work in hospitals operating in Riau. Data analysis involved reliability tests, validity tests, descriptive tests, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS software. The results showed that Job Insecurity and Burnout proved to have a significant negative effect on Job Performance by reducing the Subjective Well-being of contract nurses. In addition, the dimensions of the Psychological Capital variables such as Hope and Resilience are known to be able to reduce the negative impact caused by Job Insecurity and Burnout on Subjective Well-being and Job Performance of contract nurses. On the other hand, the Self-efficacy dimension is only able to reduce the negative impact of Burnout on other variables, while Optimism is only able to reduce the negative impact of Job Insecurity on other variables.

"Pengangguran merupakan permasalahan yang marak terjadi di Indonesia, dan tidak jarang mahasiswa yang baru lulus menjadi salah satu pengangguran. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan beberapa dampak negatif bagi mahasiswa tingkat akhir, seperti menurunnya subjective well-being mahasiswa. Untuk mencegah hal ini terjadi, mahasiswa harus mampu menyiapkan dirinya untuk masuk dalam dunia kerja. Kemampuan ini disebut sebagai career adaptability. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah career adaptability dapat memprediksi subjective well-being pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Terdapat 149 mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang menjadi partisipan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah The PERMA-Profiler untuk mengukur subjective well-being dan Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS) untuk mengukur career adaptability. Berdasarkan uji analisis regresi yang dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa career adaptability secara signifikan dapat memprediksi subjective well-being mahasiswa dengan β = 0.632, t = 9.899, p < 0,05. Artinya, semakin tinggi career adaptability mahasiswa, maka akan semakin tinggi subjective well-beingnya.

Unemployment is one of the problems that are often faced by fresh graduate and can cause several negative impacts for senior college students, such as a decrease in students' subjective well-being. To prevent this from happening, students must be able to prepare themselves to face challenges in the world of work which can be called as career adaptability. The purpose of this study is to see whether career adaptability can predict subjective well-being in senior college students. There were 149 students who participated in this study. This study is quantitative research with correlational design. The measuring instrument used in this research is The PERMA-Profiler to measure subjective well-being and Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS) to measure career adaptability. Based on regression analysis test, it was found that career adaptability can significantly predict the subjective well-being of students with = 0.632, t = 9.899, p < 0.05. That means the higher level of career adaptability in students, the higher their subjective well-being.

"Kesejahteraan subjektif siswa di sekolah merupakan hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan, karena memiliki banyak manfaat positif untuk perkembangan siswa di sekolah maupun kesejahteraannya secara umum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh dari dimensi keberfungsian keluarga, yakni family cohesion, family flexibility, dan family communication terhadap kesejahteraan subjektif siswa di sekolah. Partisipan pada penelitian ini merupakan 475 siswa SMA yang berasal dari lima sekolah di Jabodetabek. Kesejahteraan di sekolah diukur menggunakan brief adolescent subjective well-being in school scale (BASWBSS), dan family functioning diukur menggunakan family adaptability and cohesion evaluation scale (FACES III) serta family communication scale (FCS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa family flexibility dan family communication memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan siswa di sekolah.

Subjective well-being in school is one of the important thing to noticed because it has plenty positive benefits for students development in school and their overall well-being. The aims of this research is to examine the effect of family functioning dimensions, namely family cohesion, family flexibility, and family communication towards subjective well-being in school. Participants of this research are 475 students from five high schools in Jabodetabek. Subjective well-being in school is measured by Brief Adolescent Subjective Well-Being in School Scale (BASWBSS), while family functioning is measured by Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation Scale (FACES III) and Family Communication Scale (FCS). The Result show that family flexibility and family communication has a positive and significant effect to subjective well-being in school."

"Stres merupakan salah satu reaksi psikologis yang menyertai mahasiswa selama pandemic COVID-19. Tingkat stres dapat mempengaruhi kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa. Terdapat penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya yang menemukan hubungan antara regulasi emosi dengan stres maupun kesejahteraan psikologis, dimana tingkat stress yang tinggi akan menurunkan kesejahteraan psikologis dan regulasi emosi mampu mengurangi stress serta menjaga kesejahteraan psikologis individu. Strategi regulasi emosi expressive suppression dan cognitive reappraisal diartikan sebagai cara individu dalam mempengaruhi, merasakan, serta mengekspresikan emosi yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efek strategi regulasi emosi expressive suppression dan cognitive reappraisal sebagai moderator antara stres dan kesejahteraan psikologis. Sebanyak 119 mahasiswa baru Universitas Indonesia 2020 terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Stres diukur menggunakan Perceived Stres Scale-10 for COVID-19 (PSS-10-C); strategi regulasi emosi diukur menggunakan Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ); dan kesejahteraan psikologis diukur menggunakan Ryff’s Scales of Psychological Well-being (RPWB). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) stres dapat menjadi prediktor kesejahteraan psikologis secara signifikan; (2) strategi regulasi emosi expressive suppression signifikan dalam memperkuat hubungan negatif antara stres dan kesejahteraan psikologis; (3) strategi regulasi emosi cognitive reappraisal signifikan dalam memperlemah hubungan negatif antara stres dan kesejahteraan psikologis.

Stress is one of psychological reactions that has been experienced by college students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The level of stress can be affecting their psychological well-being. Previous studies show there is a significant relationship between emotional regulation and stress, also psychological well-being. A high level of stress will be declining psychological well-being. On the other hand, emotional regulation has proven to be reducing stress level as well as maintaining the condition of psychological well-being. Emotional regulation strategies are defined as the way individuals influence, feel, and express their emotions. The strategies divided into two which are cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression. This study aims to examine the effects of expressive suppression and cognitive reappraisal regulatory strategies as a moderator between stres and psychological well-being. A total of 119 first-year students of Universitas Indonesia in 2020 were involved in this research. Stres was measured using the Perceived Stress Scale-10 for COVID-19 (PSS-10-C); Emotion regulation strategies were measured using the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ); and psychological well-being was measured using Ryff's Scales of Psychological Well-being (RPWB). The results showed that (1) stress can be a significant predictor of psychological well-being; (2) expressive suppression as an emotional regulatory strategy is significant in strengthening the negative relationship between stress and psychological well-being; (3) on the other side, cognitive reappraisal strategy is significant in weakening the negative relationship between stress and psychological well-being."

Kim dkk (2010) membuktikan bahwa self-enhancement pada domain kinerja
berdampak buruk terhadap subjective well-being (SWB). Penelitian ini akan
menguji apakah self-enhancement pada trait juga akan menunjukkan hasil yang
sama. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan menguji apakah emosi terima kasih
memoderasi hubungan antara meninggikan atau merendahkan diri dengan SWB.
137 partisipan diberi umpan balik palsu dan manipulasi terima kasih, kemudian
mengisi kuesioner SWB. Hasilnya, hanya terima kasih yang terbukti signifikan
dalam memprediksi tingkat kepuasan hidup, positif afek dan SWB secara
keseluruhan. Dugaan bahwa terima kasih memoderasi hubungan antara self-
enhancement atau self-effacement tidak terbukti.

ABSTRACT
Kim et al. (2010) proved that the self-enhancement in the performance domain
had negative impact on well-being (SWB). This study will test whether self-
enhancement on the trait will show the same results as Kim et al (2010). The
study also aims to examine whether gratitude emotion moderate the relationship
between self-enhancement or self-effacement with SWB. 137 participants were
given false feedback and gratitude manipulation, then fill out a SWB?s
questionnaire. As a result, only gratitude that proved significant in predicting the
level of life satisfaction, positive affect and overall SWB. Prediction that gratitude
moderate the relationship between self-enhancement or self-effacement to SWB is
not proven.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki peran religiositas sebagai moderator hubungan antara resiliensi dan subjective well-being pada penduduk miskin di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian pada 181 partisipan (114 laki-laki, 67 perempuan) menunjukkan bahwa effect size pada analisis regresi sederhana sebesar 15,3%, dan dilanjutkan dengan melakukan analisis regresi moderasi menjadi sebesar 22,1%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa religiositas dapat memperkuat hubungan resiliensi dan subjective well-being pada penduduk miskin di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian ini menambah pengetahuan mengenai peran religiositas sebagai moderator hubungan resiliensi dan subjective well-being.

This study is aimed to investigate the role of religiosity as a moderator of the relationship between resilience and subjective well-being of the poor in Jakarta. The results of the study on 181 participants (114 males, 67 females) showed that the effect size in the simple regression analysis was 15.3%, and the result followed by moderation regression analysis was 22.1%. This shows that religiosity could strengthen the relationship between resilience and subjective well-being of the poor in Jakarta. The results of this study enhance the knowledge of the role of religiosity as a moderating variable of the relationship between resilience and subjective well-being."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara psychological well-being dan college adjustment pada mahasiswa tahun pertama Universitas Indonesia. Tahun pertama di perguruan tinggi memberikan tantangan bagi mahasiswa terutama dalam proses penyesuaian diri. Pada masa ini psychological well-being bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tantangan tersebut. Psychological well-being penting bagi individu yang sedang mengalami masa transisi dalam kehidupan. Pengukuran psychological well-being menggunakan alat ukur Ryff's Scale of Psychological Well-Being dan pengukuran college adjustment menggunakan alat ukur Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire yang disusun oleh Baker dan Siryk. Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 226 mahasiswa tahun pertama Universitas Indonesia. Data penelitian kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan teknik statistik Pearson Product-Moment Correlation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara psychological well-being dan college adjustment pada mahasiswa tahun pertama Universitas Indonesia (r = 0.595; p = 0.000, signifikan pada L.o.S 0.01).
