"This book is both a course book and a monograph. The first chapter briefly introduces the history, background and technology of EPM. In the second chapter, the concept of transport phenomena is concisely introduced and in the third chapter the essential part of magnetohydrodynamics is transcribed and readers are shown that the concept of transport phenomena does not only apply to heat, mass and momentum, but also magnetic field. The fourth chapter describes electromagnetic processing of electrically conductive materials such as electromagnetic levitation, mixing, brake, and etc., which are caused by the Lorentz force. The fifth chapter treats magnetic processing of organic and non-organic materials such as magnetic levitation, crystal orientation, structural alignment and etc., which are induced by the magnetization force. This part is a new academic field named magneto-science, which focuses on the development of super-conducting magnets."

"Pengolahan data transient elektromagnetik bertujuan mendapatkan sifat fisis batuan berdasarkan resistivitas terhadap kedalaman, yang nantinya akan dianalisa untuk mengetahui daerah prospek hidrokarbon. Tahpan dalam pengolahan data untuk mendapatkan nilai resistivitas terlebih dulu mendapatkan nilai resistivitas semu. Nilai resistivitas semu pada metode Transient Electromagnetic (TEM) dapat ditentukan dengan menggunakan beberapa formula yang dikembangkan oleh Kaufman & keller, Zonge, Fitterman & Stewart, dan Cristensen. Dalam proses pemilihan formula TEM yang digunakan analisa dengan mencari perbedaan relative dengan bantuan dari data sintetik, fonnula Fitterman & Stewart memiliki nilai perbedaan relatifitas 0,37%. Korelasi nilai resistivitas dilakukan dengan membandingkan nilai resistivitas yang didapat hasil perhitungan berdasarkan formula TEM dengan nilai resistivitas semu yang diperoleh dari hasil pemodelan l dimensi dengan software LOTEM maupun dengan software IX1D. Proses automatisasi dibuat bertujuan untuk melakukan efisiensi dalam proses perhitungan nilai resistivitas semu dengan software Matlab inenggunakan aplikasi GUIDE Pemodelan 1 dimensi yang di gabungkan dari bebarapa titik sounding bertujuan mendapatkan profil resistivitas yang nantinya akan memberikan informasi bawah permukaan. Dari profil resistivitas semu terhadap kedalaman terlihat adanya struktur yang berupa antiklin pada daerah 500-3000m dengan kedalaman 1000an meter. Pada daerah struktur antiklin terlihat nilai resistivitas yang tinggi mengindikasikan kemungkinan adanya hidrokarbon.

Processing of transient electromagnetic data to obtain physical properties of rocks based on the resistivity with depth, which will be analyzed to determine areas of hydrocarbon prospects. Stages in data processing to obtain resistivity values first obtaining apparent resistivity value. Value of apparent resistivity on the method of Transient Electromagnetic (TEM can be determined by using some formula that was developed by Kaufman & Keller, Zonge, Fitterman & Stewart, and Cristensen. In the process of choice formula used TEM analysis by looking for relative dwerences with the heha of synthetic data, Fitterman & Stewartls formula has the value 0.3 7% dwerence relativity. Correlation of resistivity values is done by comparing the obtained resistivity values calculated based on the formula TEM apparent resistivity value obtained from the one-dimensional modeling software or with software IXID LOTEM. Automatic process is made aimed at improving efficiency in the process of calculating the value of apparent resistivity with Matlab software using GUIDE aplication. Modeling one- dimensional in combination of Many diagnostic point to obtain a profile of resistivity sounding which will provide subsurface information. From the profile of apparent resistivity with depth seen in the form of the anticline structure in the 3,000 m with a depth of 500-meter 1000an. At the regional anticline structure visible high resistivity values indicate the possibility of hydrocarbons."
