"[Manga sebagai salah satu produk kebudayaan populer Jepang tidak hanya bertujuan sebagai media hiburan tetapi juga dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai gambaran watak tokoh utama yang dianalisis melalui penokohannya. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengungkapkan perubahan-perubahan watak yang dialami oleh tokoh utamanya, Shouya. Melalui hubungan Shouya dengan tokoh-tokoh yang memiliki pengaruh penting tersebut,penulis juga akan mengungkapkan pesan-pesan moral yang ingin disampaikan oleh pengarangnya secara tersirat. Dalam meneliti Koe no Katachi, penulis menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa studi dokumen. Hasil analisismenunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan-perubahan watak tokoh Shouya dan pesan-pesan moral yang berfungsi sebagai media pembelajaran.

This thesis discusses about the image ofcharacterization of main character which analyzed through characterization. The purpose is to reveal transformation of characterization of main character, Shouya. "ABSTRAKManga merupakan salah satu komoditi penting bagi Jepang. Manga memiliki banyak kategori, salah satunya adalah Sh?jo Manga. Manga ini diciptakan oleh perempuan dan diperuntukkan perempuan. Hanazakari no Kimitachi he adalah salah satu Sh?jo Manga ga yang terkenal karya dari Nakajo Hisaya. Skripsi ini membahas tentang penokohan Ashiya Mizuki dalam Hanazakari no Kimitachi he. Analisis dilakukan dengan menganalisis hubungan antartokoh. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tokoh Ashiya Mizuki memiliki gejala feminisme yang dapat mempengaruhi pembaca perampuan, yaitu perempuan Jepang.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku bunuh diri yang terdapat dalam film Koe no Katachi (2016) karya Yamada Naoko. Penulis menggunakan teori interpersonal bunuh diri Joiner dalam Van Orden (2010) dan Three-Step Theory of Suicide Klonsky dan May (2015) untuk menganalisis perilaku bunuh diri dalam film Koe no Katachi dengan metode mise en scene Monaco (2000). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku bunuh diri yang digambarkan oleh film Koe no Katachi berupa pemikiran bunuh diri sebanyak empat kali (aktif dan pasif) dan percobaan bunuh diri yang digagalkan sebanyak satu kali. Selain itu, film ini tidak menampilkan pengetahuan bunuh diri yang dapat memicu fenomena suicide copycat. Film Koe no Katachi dapat dilihat sebagai refleksi situasi masyarakat Jepang dengan terus meningkatnya kasus bunuh diri remaja akibat perundungan. Peran orang-orang terdekat dari individu yang memiliki perilaku bunuh diri digambarkan menjadi solusi paling efektif dalam pencegahan bunuh diri. Sementara itu, partisipasi pihak-pihak seperti, pemerintah, sekolah, dan komunitas masyarakat yang seharusnya aktif dalam penanganan masalah ini terlihat minim. Oleh karena itu, film ini dapat dilihat sebagai kritik sosial kurangnya kepedulian institusi formal seperti sekolah dan negara terhadap perilaku bunuh diri dan perundungan remaja.

This study aims to analyze the suicidal behavior contained in the film Koe no Katachi (2016) by Yamada Naoko. The author uses Joiner's interpersonal theory of suicide in Van Orden (2010) and Klonsky and May's Three-Step Theory of Suicide (2015) to analyze suicidal behavior in Koe no Katachi film with Monaco’s (2000) mise en scene method. The results showed that the suicidal behavior described in Koe no Katachi consists of four suicidal thoughts (active and passive) and one failed suicide attempt. In addition, this film does not feature any suicide knowledge which can trigger the phenomenon of copycat suicide. Koe no Katachi can be seen as a reflection of current Japanese society, in which the number of adolescent suicides is increasing due to act of bullying. People who are closest to the suicidal individuals are described to be having a major role and are most effective in preventing the act of suicide. Meanwhile, participation of parties such as the government, schools, and communities in dealing with this matter are considered to be minimal. Therefore, this film can be seen as a social critique of formal institutions such as schools and the state due to their ignorance towards adolescent suicidal behavior and bullying."

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang tokoh dan penokohan yang terdapat dalam novel Ikhtilas karya Hani Naqshabandi. Novel Arab ini diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia dengan judul Wanita Terpasung yang cerita di dalam novel diangkat dari kisah nyata. Penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif-analisis untuk mendeskripsikan lalu menganalisis data secara mendalam. Selain itu, menggunakan pendekatan struktural untuk membangun hubungan antar unsur untrinsik di dalam novel. Hasil penelitian tokoh dan penokohan yang terdapat di dalam novel Ikhtilas, penulis menemukan karakteristik-karakteristik tokoh yang dipengaruhi lingkungan masyarakat dan tempat tinggalnya. Selain itu, terdapat pula karakteristik tokoh-tokoh yang sangat beragam.

This Thesis discussed about character and characterization in Ikhtilas novel by Hani Naqshabandi. This Arabic novel was translated to Indonesian with "Wanita Terpasung" as title which is a true story. The writer used descriptive-analytic method to describe then analyze the data profoundly. Furthermore, structural approach was used to build connection between intrinsic elements in the novel. As the result, the writer found characters in the novel were affected by communities and their habitats. However, there were also diversity in characters."

Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan analisa yang mengkaji berbagai macam teks dalam cerita pendek Gongitsune kemudian menganalisisnya untuk mengetahui seperti apakah tokoh dan penokohan rubah yang ditulis oleh Niimi Nankichi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggambaran tokoh rubah dibuat serupa dengan kebudayaan dan kepercayaan orang Jepang yaitu, banyak akal dan suka menjahili manusia, kemudian diselipkan juga amanat-amanat agar dapat membantu menanam moral yang baik bagi anak-anak berupa pentingnya melakukan kebaikan dan tidak berbuat kenakalan.

Children's literature can help moral education through various messages it conveyed. Various children’s stories surface but research about children’s literature is very few so the writer chose to research about character and characterization of the fox character in a short story titled Gongitsune by Niimi Nankichi whom considered can represents children’s literature. The research method used in this research is analysis approach that examines a wide range of texts in Gongitsune then analyzed it to know what is the character and characterization of the fox that's been written by Niimi Nankichi. This research showed that the characterization of the fox character is made similar with culture and faith of the Japanese that is a lot of wile and likes to pull some tricks on human, afterward various messages was slipped so it can helped to plant a good moral for children in the form of the importance of doing good and not doing mischief."

Pada novel tersebut terlihat jelas bahwa semua tokoh memiliki ciri khas karakter masing-masing dan beberapa tokoh juga mengalami perubahan karakter. Tokoh utama adalah pusat cerita yang dalam perkembangan cerita mempengaruhi beberapa tokoh dalam novel ini. Dari karakter tokoh dalam novel ini, ada beberapa hal yang bisa dipelajari, di antaranya kebebasan untuk berpendapat, kebebasan dalam memaknai hidup, bahkan untuk memilih keyakinan.

This term-paper tries to comprehend the structure of the novel Ar-Rajul Alladzi Aman and will expose its characters and characterization. Structural and analytical approaches which primarily pay attention to the intrinsic aspects of the novel are applied in the research of this term-paper.To analyze the literary work using this approach, it needs to know more and better understanding of the aspects which construct the novel. In this term paper, the research start with a discussion of the intrinsic aspects of this novel, such as: plot, background, character, characterization, and message. The sequence of the novel is presented in order to make the research easier. It is clearly seen that each character is unique, and some characters have round character. Tujuannya adalah untuk memaparkan dan menjelaskan berbagai perubahan karakter Theeb beserta penyebabnya. Metodologi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa metodologi kepustakaan, metode strukturalis digunakan untuk menganalisis unsur intrinsik, metode deskriptif analitis digunakan untuk menganalisis perubahan karakter tokoh Theeb. ABSTRACTThis thesis analyzes the changing character of the main character, Theeb Al Howeitat, in Theeb movie. The purpose of this thesis is to explain and describe any changes of Theeb rsquo s character and also the factors. Structuralist method is used to analyzing the intrinsic elements in this movie, descriptive analytic method is used to analyzing the changes of Theeb rsquo s character. This paper discusses about character and characterization in the Novel Naib Izrail by Yusuf al-Siba’i which has been translated into Bahasa Indonesia as Izrail. The purpose of this research is to describe the intrinsic elements and to explain about its character and characterization. ABSTRACTThis research is aimed to analyze characters and characterizations in Hanan al-Shaykh?s work of Hikayat Zahra. The novel tells a story about Zahra, whose lifeis endeavored to cover up her past mistakes from her family until the occurrenceof civil war in Lebanon in 1975-1990. This study uses a structural psychologicalapproach in analyzing the characterization of the main character (Zahra). Thepsychological approach to literature like psychoanalysis proposed by SigmundFreud, which is applied in this research, also functions to explain how extensivethe personality structure like id, ego, and superego of Zahra dominates hercharacterization. This research concludes that there is a correlation betweenintrinsic elements of the story and the characterization of Zahra. Furthermore,according to the psychological analysis, the most dominating characterization inZahra?s character is her free sexual behavior, as well as Zahra?s death instinct"
