"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas ciri dan fungsi sastra anak yang terdapat dalam tiga buah cerpen jenaka yang berjudul ?Si Bodoh Jadi Pencuri?, ?Sura Menggala?, dan ?Mencari Orang Besar? dalam kumpulan cerpen Dua Puluh Dongeng Anak-anak karya Zuber Usman. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa ciri dan fungsi sastra anak untuk cerita jenaka tidak hanya bertumpu pada kemampuan cerita tersebut dalam memberikan pesan moral dan hiburan, tetapi juga harus memberikan rasa terwakilkan pada anak ketika membacanya. Dari tiga buah cerpen yang dianalisis, terdapat dua cerita, yaitu ?Si Bodoh Jadi Pencuri? dan ?Mencari Orang Besar? yang selain dapat memberikan pesan moral dan hiburan, juga dapat membuat anak merasa teridentifikasi dengan tokoh-tokoh yang berperan di dalamnya. Sedangkan, hasil dari penelitian cerpen ?Sura Menggala? kurang dapat memberikan rasa identifikasi bagi anak-anak. Meskipun begitu, cerpen ini tetap memiliki pesan moral dan hiburan yang juga tidak kalah penting bagi bacaan anak-anak.

ABSTRACTThis thesis discusses the characteristics and functions of children?s literature present in three humorous short stories titled ?Si Bodoh Jadi Pencuri?, ?Sura Menggala?, and ?Mencari Orang Besar? in the short stories collection Dua Puluh Dongeng Anak-anak by Zuber Usman. This research found that characteristics and functions of children?s literature for humorous stories not only focus on the ability to entertain and give moral messages, but also gives the feel of representation for the children when read it. From the three short stories that were analized, there are two stories, which is ?Si Bodoh Jadi Pencuri? and ?Mencari Orang Besar?, give the sense of identification with the character inside the stories. Meanwhile ?Sura Menggala? not giving the same as the other two stories. Nevertheless, this short story still have moral messages and entertaining value which is also important for children?s literatur."

"The research was conducted in accordance with the phenomenon occurred in Dokkai learning in which the students show lack understanding on reading. The aims of research are (1) to obtain clear description of the findings comprehensively about the reality in Dokkai learning of the students of JPBJ UPI as the learning goals through the story telling approach ; (2) to figure out the difficulties and factors influencing the low level of understanding Japanese reading (Dokkai). The population of the research is the third semester students of Japanese Education Department FPBS UPI Bandung as 19 students taken randomly from Chuukyuu Dokkay I course. Qualitative method is employed using quasi experimental design. Thus, in the research, there is no control group as comparing class. From the result of data analysis, we find that (1) according the questionnaire result, 90% of the respondents respond that the story telling approach in Dokkai course is interesting; (2) the students must be able to comprehend the reading text and then retell it; (3) the class becomes more active and effective. "

"ABSTRAKThe focus of this research is to analyze the the use of Active and Passive Form in the translation News Text Prabowo : Ein Geist Namens Vergangenheit. The purpose of this study is to find out, how far a transposition of passive form to active form and vice versa during the translation process of the source text to target text could affect the discourse and meaning of a text. The text is analyzed using semantic and syntax approach, as well as critical discourse analysis to reveal the discourse that is contained in both source text and target text.

"Skripsi ini memaparkan persepsi warna masyarakat bahasa Sunda melalui nama_nama warna dalam bahasa Sunda. Nama-nama warna yang berhasil dihimpun melalui wawancara kepada responden penelitian menggunakan 216 kartu warna Color Safe Palette diklasifikasikan ke dalam fokus (istilah warna dasar B. Berlin dan P. Kay). Nama-nama warna dalam tiap fokus diklasifikasikan ke dalam tiga dimensi warna versi Munsell untuk melihat pola penamaan warna. Hasil penelitian ini berupa dokumentasi nama-nama warna dalam bahasa Sunda dan pola penamaannya.

This undergraduate thesis describes the color perception among the Sundanese language communities through the name of colors in Sundanese. The name of colors were collected by interviewing respondents using 216 cards of Color Safe Palette classified into focus (using basic color terms of B. Berlin and P. Kay). The colors in each focus are classified in three color dimensional Munsell version to see the color naming. Results of this study are a documentation of colors in Sundanese and its pattern of naming."

"ABSTRAKThis study aimed to determine the effect of figurative language style of the ability of students to appreciate the short story. This study was classified as experimental research. Research data obtained through test techniques. This study population was all students of class X SMA Hasanuddin of Gowa. Based on the analysis and discussion of the results of this study concluded that the results of the average score of the ability to appreciate the short story class X SMA Hasanuddin of Gowa without fiiguratif stylistic mastery on the posttest 13.2 in the low category with the thoroughness of the number of students 20%. The results of the average score of the ability to appreciate the short story class X SMA Hasanuddin of Gowa with mastery of figurative language style on the posttest 29.6 and higher are categorized by the number of students 85% completeness. Mastery of figurative language style effect in appreciating short stories high school Class X students Hasanuddin of Gowa. The role of mastery of this style of figurative language seems clearly based on the calculation of Paired Samples Test t-test which showed that as many as 9,752 t count > t table value of 2.09. This shows that the proposed research hypothesis is accepted."
