"In the eco-hydraulic concept development, river island is an important component both for flora and fauna habitat and resistance to flow. The present research aims to identify the characteristic of island geometry in terms of island resistance. The research method is conducted through qualitative analysis on island geometry obtained from direct field measurement, historical maps, maps from literature, and satellite image-maps. While the research on flow resistance is conducted by measuring the resistance coefficient (drag coefficient, CD) of an island model. Analysis is performed on the basic of island geometry, namely the relative length (p) and width (l) and the distance of island from river bank (d). The laboratory experiment on open channel is conducted to determine the correlation of island geometry, to island resistance. It is concluded that the island geometry and its asymmetry have specific value (the average value of p/1 = 4.09; L/p = 0.84 and L/l = 3.01), while the resistance coefficient (CD) of the island with such characeristic is minimal.This result is accordance to the minimal principle of resistance concept, where every structure within flowing fluid in its development will be deformed to stream line form according. Similarly, islands on flowing fluid (river) will have stream line form with minimal resistance to flow. The benefit of this research is that it serves as reference for island construction in river restoration project and as academic information on island geometry and the evidence of the general concept of minimal principle of resistance."

"Tugas akhir ini membahas suatu metode untuk mendapatkan bentuk kanonik Jordan, yang bernama metode staircase. Ide dasar metode ini yaiu menggunakan transformasi uniter untuk mentransformasi suatu matriks n x n ke dalam bentuk blok segitiga atas, atau bentuk ?staircase? , kemudian menggunakan karakteristik Weyr untuk mendapatkan bentuk kanonik Jordan. Hasil yang didapat dengan menggunakan metode ini dibandingkan dengan hasil yang didapat dengan menggunakan program untuk mendapatkan kanonik Jordan yang sudah ada di Matlab. Untuk membuktikan kestabilan kedua metode, entri pada matrks input diberi gangguan atau perubahan. Hasil perbandingan kedua metode menunjukkan bahwa bentuk kanonik Jordan yang didapat melalui metode karakteristik Weyr lebih stabil dibadingkan dengan bentuk kanonk Jordan yang didapat melalui program untuk mendapatkan kanonik Jordan di Matlab. "Perkembangan rumah sakit swasta di Kabupaten Purwakarta menimbulkan persaingan yang ketat antar rumah sakit, hal ini terlihat dari jumlah kunjungan pasien ke rumah sakit pemerintah semakin menurun sedangkan ke rumah sakit swasta semakin meningkat, hal ini disebabkan oleh kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesenjangan antara persepsi dan harapan pasien rawat jalan terhadap kualitas pelayanan kesehatan di RSUD Bayu Asih dan RSU Amira Kabupaten Purwakarta. Kualitas pelayanan merupakan hal yang penting untuk meningkatkan jumlah pelanggan dalam perusahaan jasa termasuk rumah sakit, metode SERVQUAL banyak digunakan untuk mengukur kualitas pelayanan. Metode ini menggunakan 5 dimensi yaitu ketampakan fisik, reliabilitas, responsivitas, kepastian, dan perlakukan dengan cara membandingkan antara harapan dan persepsi pasien terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan oleh rumah sakit. Penelitian ini dilakukan di RSUD Bayu Asih dan RSU Amira dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 400 responden.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan kesenjangan di RSUD Bayu Asih lebih besar dari pada di RSU Amira. Kesenjangan yang paling tinggi yaitu pada dimensi respodsiveness, hal ini disebabkan karena adanya waktu tunggu yang lama baik di bagian pendaftaran, pemeriksaan maupun di apotek. Sedangkan dimensi empathy RSU Amira sudah bisa memberikan pelayanan yang melebihi harapan pasien, hal ini ditunjukan dengan hasil pengujian berdasarkan perbedaan rata ? rata antara harapan dan persepsi terhadap kualitas pelayanan yang dirasakan oleh pasien.

The development of private hospitalsin Purwakarta region pose stiff competition between hospitals, it is seen from the number of patients visited to government hospitals is decreasing, while the number of patients visited private hospitals is increasing. This is due to the quality of services provided hospital. This study aims to analyze the gaps between perception and expectation outpatient of the quality services in Bayu Asih Hospital and Amira Hospital Purwakarta. Quality of service is essential to increase the number of customers in service based companies, including hospitals.SERVQUAL method widely used to measure the quality of service. This method usedfive dimensions namely tanggibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy and compare between expectations and patientsperceptions to services provided by hospitals. The research was conducted in RSUD Bayu Asih and RSU Amira the number of samples as much as 400 respondents.
The results showed gaps in RSUD Bayu Asih greater than RSU Amira. The highest gap i.e the dimension of responsiveness, this is because the existence of long waiting times either in the registration, examination or in pharmacies. While RSU Amira dimensions of empathy been able to provide services which can meet the expectations of patients. this is indicated by results based on testing the mean differences between expectations and perception to quality of service patients? perceived.

"[ABSTRAK
Penurunan kualitas lingkungan terjadi karena kelalaian, ketidaktahuan dan tiadanya etika serta moral terhadap lingkungan. PLH penting diajarkan pada murid SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis metode yang digunakan di Sekolah Jepang dan Sekolah Adiwiyata dalam mengajarkan PLH; dan (2) menganalisis metode yang efektif dalam mengajarkan PLH. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di
Sekolah Jepang Jakarta dan Bandung; dan sekolah penerima Adiwiyata di DKI Jakarta yaitu SDN Klender 22, SDN Benhil 12, SDN Menteng 02, dan SDN Sungai Bambu 05 serta SDN Sungailiat 05. Responden berjumlah 72 orang guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode yang digunakan oleh guru Sekolah Jepang dan Sekolah Adiwiyata dalam mengajarkan PLH adalah metode ceramah, metode pengalaman langsung dan metode diskusi. Pemilihan metode mempertimbangkan tujuan pembelajaran, situasi dan kesiapan pengajar sendiri. Metode yang efektif digunakan untuk mengajarkan PLH di sekolah dasar Adiwiyata dan sekolah Jepang adalah metode pengalaman langsung, metode diskusi dan metode ceramah.

significant subject to be taught to elementary students.The aims of this study are

"ABSTRAK
Tindakan pemasangan NGT adalah suatu tindakan memasukan sebuah selang melalui hidung melewati nasofaring dan esofagus menuju ke dalam lambung. Tujuan pemasangan NGT adalah untuk dekompresi , feeding , kompresi , dan lavage. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui ketepatan posisi NGT adalah : metode aspirasi, auskultasi, dan memasukkan ujung NGT ke dalam kom berisi air. Kesalahan posisi NGT dapat menimbulkan komplikasi dan tujuan pemasangan NGT tidak tercapai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan ketepatan posisi NGT menggunakan metode aspirasi, auskultasi, dan merendam ujung NGT dengan konfirmasi rontgen di UGD RS Dr Hasan Sadikin Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan pre-experiment designs dengan pendekatan Postest Only Design. Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 60 orang, yang dibagi menjadi 20 orang diobservasi dengan metode auskultasi, 20 orang dengan auskultasi, dan 20 orang dengan merendam ujung NGT. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan consecutive sampling. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah Fisher’Exact Test dilanjutkan dengan uji Toucher. Hasil analisis menunjukan tidak berbeda bermakna antara metode aspirasi dengan konfirmasi rontgen (p = 0,073 dan p Toucher = 0.664), tidak berbeda bermakna antara metode auskultasi dengan konfirmasi rontgen (p = 0, 681 dan p Toucher = 0,307), dan tidak berbeda bermakna antara metode merendam ujung NGT (p = 404 dan p Toucher = 0,125). Simpulan penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna ketepatan posisi NGT dengan metode aspirasi, auskultasi, dan merendam ujung selang NGT ke dalam air dengan konfirmasi rontgen, hal ini berarti tidak ada metode yang paling tepat dalam menentukan ketepatan posisi NGT. Saran peneliti adalah dalam protap pemasangan NGT untuk mengetahui ketepatan posisi NGT digunakan ketiga metode ini, tes pH dan rontgen dilakukan bila perlu saja, untuk praktisi perlu dilakukan pelatihan dalam tindakan pemasangan NGT, perlu dilakukan penelitian selanjutnya, perlu dilakukan sosialisasi hasil peneitian ini untuk mendapatkan masukan dan perbaikan.

ABSTRACT
NGT insertion is an intervention by inserting a tube via nasal, passing through nasofaring and esophagus into the stomach. The purposes of NGT insertion are to decompress the stomach, feeding, compression, and lavage. Methods which are used to confirming NGT placement are aspiration method, auscultation method, and put distal end of NGT into a glass of water. Another sophisticated method to confirming NGT placement are pH test and radiology method. The aim of this study is to explain confirmation of NGT proper placement using aspiration method, auscultation method, and put distal end of NGT into water and then compared with radiology confirmation at emergency ward Dr Hasan Sadikin Hospital Bandung. Pre-experimental with post test only design or The one shot case study was used in this study. Total samples was 60 patients, selected by consecutive sampling technic. The subjects was divided into three groups : 20 patients were using aspiration method, 20 patients were using auscultation method, and 20 patients were using put distal end of NGT method. Statictic analysis used in this study was Fisher’s Exact Test, continued by Toucher test. The result showed that there were no significantly differences between aspiration method compared with radiology confirmation (p=0,073 and p Toucher=0,664), between auscultation method compared with radiology confirmation (p=0,681 and p Toucher=0,307), and between put distal end of NGT into water method compared with radiology confirmation (p=0,404 and p Toucher=0,125). The conclusion of this research is no significantly differences of NGT placement using aspiration, auscultation, and put distal end of NGT method compared with radiology confirmation. This meant that there was no method which is the best in corfirming NGT placement. Suggestions : proper NGT placement using this three methods are included in standard NGT insertion procedure, pH test and radiology confirmation are used only when needed, for practitioners it is important to make a training about intervention of NGT insertion, need more further research to be done, and make a publication of this research or to be socialized to motivate further research."

"ABSTRAK
Kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya kesehatan beberapa tahun belakangan ini mulai meningkat, hal ditandai dengan banyak sekali pusat kebugaran (fitness center) yang muncul di Indonesia khususnya wilayah ibukota DKI Jakarta. Masing-masing memiliki ciri khas tersendiri dengan menawarkan berbagai macam program olah tubuh yang sedang digemari masyarakat saat ini.
Pilates merupakan salah satu jenis olah tubuh yang ikut meramaikan industri kesehatan saat ini. Jenis olah tubuh yang mulai masuk ke Indonesia sekitar kurang lebih pada tahun 2002 cukup merebut perhatian masyarakat. Tetapi terdapat beberapa kendala yang harus diperhatikan oleh para pelaku bisnis, karena bila tidak berhati-hati Pilates hanya akan menjadi suatu eforia semata saja yang lama kelamaan akan menghilang sehingga tidak akan dapat bertahan lama. Pada saat ini pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai merek Pilates masih sangat kurang sekali dan selain itu masih timbal persepsi bahwa Pilates sama dengan Yoga. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan penelitian yang memiliki tujuan sebagai berikut:
1. Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal apa sajakah yang dapat mempenghruhi proses pembangunan merek Pilates di Indonesia,
2. Tindakan serta strategi apa saja yang perlu dilakukan pelaku bisnis supaya Pilates dapat mempertahankan eksistensinya di Indonesia.
Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua maca populasi sampel yaitu orang yang sama sekali belum pernah ikut pilates tetapi tertarik dan orang yang sudah pemah Pilates. Selain itu survei juga dilakukan terhadap empat pemilik atau manajemen studio Pilates untuk mengetahui pandangan mereka terhadap prospek merek Pilates untuk masa yang
akan datang, sehingga data yang didapatkan hanya berupa data pendukung dalam penelitian
Dalam penelitian ditemukan beberapa faktor - faktor penting yang dapat dijadikan acuan oleh pelaku bisnis dalam industri kesehatan apabila ingin mengembangkan merek Pilates di Indonesia, yaitu:
? Pengetahuan konsumen mengenai manfaat Pilates sangat panting. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa masih banyak orang yang belum mengetahui apa manfaat Pilates bahkan defmisi atau maksud dari Pilates itu sendiri.
? Mengubah persepsi bahwa Pilates memiliki manfaat dan kualitas yang berbeda dengan Yoga merupakan salah satu faktor yang memerlukan perhatian khusus. Masih banyak persepsi masyarakat umum habwa Pilates memiliki kesamaan manfaat dan kualitas dengan Yoga.
? Adanya persepsi bahwa Pilates merupakan jenis olah tubuh yang diperuntukkan untuk kaum wanita juga harus dirubah.
? Usia menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam proses pembangunan merek Pilates. Kelompok usia 20 - 29 tahun dan 30 - 39 tahun merupakan usia yang dapat dijadikan sebagai potential market bagi merek Pilates, karena pada kisaran usia 20 - 29 tahun orang cenderung sedang pada masa produktif dan ingin selalu mengikuti perkembangan lifestyle (ten) yang sedang terjadi dalam masyarakat, sedangkan pada kelompok usia 30 - 39 tahun merupakan masa dimana orang rata-rata mulai menikmati kemapanan dalam hidup sehingga mereka mulai ingin mengubah dan meningkatkan image diri mereka dalam masyarakat sehingga memiliki self confidence level yang baik daripada sebelumnya
? Jenis pekerjaan memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat dengan pendapatan seseorang, karena untuk mengikuti Pilates memerlukan biaya yang cukup mahal.
Terdapat berbagai tindakan dan strategi yang dilakukan para pelaku bisnis dalam proses menbangun merek Pilates sebagai berikut:
a. Memberikan informasi sebanyak mungkin mengertai Pilates beserta manfaat yang dimiliki lebih intensif lagi akan membentuk sebdah identitas tersendiri bagi merek Pilates.
b. Edukasi terhadap konsumen hares dilakukan dengan berbagai macam Cara terutama derigan melibatkan konsumen tersebut untuk dapat merasakan (experience) value yang dimiliki oleh Pilates.

Word of mouth merupakan suatu bentuk komunikasi yang paling efektif dalam membangun merek Pilates, hal ini diakibatkan karena untuk dapat merasakan value yang dimiliki Pilates seorang konsurtien hares mengikuti Pilates terlebih dahulu dan apabila sudah merasakan manfaatnya maka konsumen tersebut akan memberitahukan kepada teman atau anggota keluarga mengenai Pilates.
Masih terdapat beberapa hal lainnya yang dapat disimptilkan secara lebih terperinci
lagi dalam karya akhir ini.
Adapun beberapa saran yang dapat dilakukan berikut ini;
1. Sebaiknya dilakukan penelitian lebih mendalam lagi dengan membandingkan Pilates dengan olah tubuh lainnya yang sejenis seperti Yoga yang selama ini dipersepsikan sama dengan Pilates, untuk mengetahui merek mama yang ada pada posisi top of mind dalam benak konsumen dan bagaimana persepsi mereka terhadap masing-masng mereka, sehingga dapat diketahui faktor-faktor yang menjadi kelebihan atau kekurangan dari masing-masing merek.
2. Selain itu, penelitian mengenai persepsi konsumen terhadap merek Pilates perlu dilakukan kembali dalam jangka waktu paling tidak tiga tahun lagi. Hal ini untuk mengetahui apakah strategi yang dilakukan selama ini suddah cukup efektif sehingga dapat mengubah persepsi konsumen mengenai Pilates seperti saat ini.
