"This research was conducted to trace the long effects of psychological interventions, which were provided in the previous research in 2014. The psychological interventions were given to the distance learners of Universitas Terbuka (UT) in the previous research experiments in 2004. The psychological treatments had been aimed to enchanced self-directed learning abilities to the first year students of Public Administration Study Program of UT, who registered in 2004. The respondents had randomly assigned into three experimental groups and one control group. The learner's achievement had been followed to the first semester of 2007 and 2008. Learners' achievement was measured through regular course examinations. The three experimental groups were tested against the control group. The hypothesis was tested using analysis of variances (ANOVA). The result show that after a 3to 4 years there was a significant difference in students' achievement between the experimental group and the control group (p=0.027). In summary, this research proves that psychological interventions significantly increase students' awareness of the need to learn that leads to the increase in their self-directed learning abilities and their achievement."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah intervensi psikologis, yang pada umumnya dilakukan secara tatap muka dalam laboratorium, kelas atau Iingkungan lain, dapat dilakukan melalui jarak jauh. Intervensi psikologis pada penelitian ini diberikan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan belajar mandiri dan prestasi belajar dari mahasiswa tahun pertama pada pendidikan jarak jauh. Dalam konteks sistem pendidikan jarak jauh formal, mahasiswa tahun pertama harus menyesuaikan diri dan menghadapi lingkungan belajar yang berbeda dengan sistem pendidikan tatap muka yang selama ini mereka kenal. Mahasiswa pendidikan jarak jauh diharapkan untuk mampu belajar mandiri jika mereka ingin sukses dalam belajarnya.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen lapangan dan dilakukan untuk menjawab dua hipotesis utama, yaitu: (1) intervensi akan meningkatkan secara signifikan kemampuan belajar mandiri dari mahasiswa tahun pertama pendidikan jarak jauh, (2) intervensi akan meningkatkan secara signifikan prestasi belajar dari mahasiswa tahun pertama pendidikan jarak jauh. Intervensi yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa dan khusus dikembangkan pada penelitian ini adalah keterampilan Self Regulated Learning (SRL) (dengan judul ?Strategi Belajar CERDAS pada Pendidikan Jarak Jauh?) dan keteladanan dari mahasiswa pendidikan jarak jauh yang berhasil (dengan judul ?Di Balik Toga Universitas Terbuka?).
Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Universitas Terbuka dari Program Administrasi Publik yang mclakukan registrasi pertama pada semester awal tahun 2004. Sampel penelitian di bagi dengan cara random assignment dalam tiga kelompok eksperimen dan satu kelompok kontrol. Analisis hipotesis dilakukan dengan Mulfivariate Analysis of Variances (MANOVA).
Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan belajar mandiri yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol (p = 0,028). Namun, tidak ada perbedaan prestasi belajar yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Analisis lebih detail menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan yang signifikan dari salah satu komponen kemampuan belajar mandiri, yaitu komponen kebutuhan belajar, antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol (p = 0,005).
Sebagai kesimpulan, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa intervensi psikologis yang biasanya diberikan pada pendidikan tatap muka ternyata dapat efektif digunakan pada pendidikan jarak jauh. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi secara signifikan meningkatkan kebutuhan belajar yang kemudian meningkatkan kemampuan belajar mandiri mahasiswa.

This research was conducted to investigate whether psychological interventions, which usually are provided in face-to-face manners within laboratories, classrooms or other environments could also be given at a distance. The given psychological interventions were aimed at enhancing first year distance education students? self-directed learning abilities and achievement Within the context of formal distance education system, the first year students have to adapt to and to cope with the learning environment that is diiferent from that in the face-to-face educations system they are familiar with. The distance education students were expected to be self-directed learners to succeed in their studies.
This research was a field experimental research and was conducted to answer two main hypotheses as follows: (1) the interventions would significantly increase the first year distance education students?self-directed learning abilities, and (2) the interventions would significantly increase the first year distance education students? achievement. The interventions provided to the students were Self-Regulated Learning Skills (the title was ?Strategi Belajar CERDAS pada Pendidikan Jarak Jauh?) and Modeling of successful distance education learners (the title was ?Di Balik Toga Universitas Terbuka?).
The research subjects were students of Universitas Terbuka?s Public Administration Program, who were first registered in the first semester of 2004. The sample, were randomly assigned into three experimental groups and one control group. The hypotheses were tested using Multivariate Analysis of Variances (MANOVA).
The analysis results show that there was a significant diiference in self-directed learning abilities between the experimental groups and the control group (p = 0.028). However there were no significant diference between the experimental groups and the control group?s achievement. Further analysis also show that there was a significant gained scores of one of the self-directed learning skill components, namely the awareness of the need for learning between the experimental groups and the control group (p = 0.005).
In summary, this research proves that psychological interventions that are usually used in face-to-face education could effectively be used in distance education context as well. As the findings show that the interventions signiticantly increase students? awareness of the need to team that leads to the increase in their self-directed learning abilities.

"Penelitian ini melibatkan hubungan antara school well-being dan keterlibatan dalam kegiatan belajar pada siswa SMA. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 579 siswa SMA kelas 11 yang berda di 5 wilayah DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini diukur dengan menggunakan alat ukur modifikasi yang telh dibuat oleh Konu (2002) dan Simatupang (2008). Keterlibatan dalam kegiatan belajar diukur berdasarkan instrumen RAPS-S (Research Assessment Package for Schools-Student Report) yang dikembangkan oleh institut for Research and Reform in Education (1998). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara school well-being dengan keterlibatan dalam kegiatan belajar. Selain itu, ditemukan pula bahwa seluruh aspek dalam school wee-being yang meliputi having, loving, dan well being juga berhubungan dengan keterlibatan dalam kegiatan belajar."

"Several researchers on learning styles and learning strategies had been conducted at Universitas Terbuka (UT). It had found out that students tend to have visual learning style. Different learning styles and learning strategies might be happened in students at each regional office due to the influence of local ethnicity. This article written based on research conducted to determine the tendency of students' learning styles and strategies at the Regional Center (UPBJJ-UT) Medan compared to UT's students learning styles and strategies in general. Comparition was also done between exacta students and non exacta students in the UPBJJ-UT Medan. Data were collected through questionnaire and analyzed with descriptive method. The finding showed that: (1)the students learning styles at the UPBJJ-UT Medan tend to be similar with the students of UT in general, which was visual learning styles (2) there were different learning styles between exacta students and non-exacta students (3) Students' learning strategies at the UPBJJ-UT Medan have not been effective. It was suggested that UPBJJ-UT Medan should help students by developing a handbook or manual of self-learning strategies which could be socialized continously at the New Student Orientation Study (OSMB) and through the web site."

"Agentic engagement atau keterlibatan agentik berperan penting dalam proses belajar dan pencapaian prestasi pemelajar. Untuk terlibat dalam proses belajar secara aktif, salah satu faktor yang dapat menjadi kendala pemelajar adalah merasa malu atau tidak percaya diri untuk berbicara di depan orang banyak. Dalam hal ini kepribadian diasumsikan berhubungan dengan keterlibatan pemelajar di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kepribadian dan agentic engagement. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif dari universitas yang berlokasi di Jabodetabek. Agentic Engagement Scale (AES) digunakan untuk mengukur variabel agentic engagement. Kepribadian akan diukur menggunakan instrumen Mini IPIP-BFM-25. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi Pearson pada 294 partisipan, ditemukan korelasi yang positif dan signifikan antara dimensi extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, dan openness to experience terhadap agentic engagement. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini dapat memperkaya khazanah dalam ilmu Psikologi Pendidikan dan menambah wawasan bagi pemelajar maupun pengajar tentang agentic engagement dalam mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran.

Agentic engagement plays an important role in the learning process and achievement of learners' achievements. To be actively involved in the learning process, one of the factors that can be an obstacle for learners is to feel embarrassed or not confident to speak in front of a crowd. In this case the personality is assumed to be related to the involvement of the learner in the classroom. This study aims to see the relationship between personality and agentic engagement. The participants of this study are active students from universities located in Jabodetabek. The Agentic Engagement Scale (AES) is used to measure agentic engagement variables. Personality will be measured using the Mini IPIP-BFM-25 instrument. Based on the results of the Pearson correlation test in 294 participants, a positive and significant correlation was found between the dimensions of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and openness to experience to agentic engagement. The implications of the results of this study can enrich the treasures in educational psychology and add insight for learners and teachers about agentic engagement in optimizing the learning process."

"Indonesia sebagai negara berkembang, dalam era globalisasi pada abad 21 ini, mengalami berbagai persaingan baik dalam bidang ekonomi, hukum, ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, maupun dalam dunia pendidikan. Untuk memenuhi tuntutan persaingan tersebut sangat dibutuhkan Sumber daya manusia yang betu|~betul berpotensi dan ahli di bidangnya, agar dapat bersaing dengan bangsa lain dalam membangun bangsa Sumber daya manusia yang berpotensi akan melanjutkan estafet kepemimpinan bangsa, calon para ahli tersebut antara lain diperoleh dari anak berbakat, yang sekarang sedang da1am proses belajar di sekolah dan dikelompokkan di kelasl sekolah unggul. Khusus di Sumatera Barat proses tersebut dilaksanakan di kelas unggu1. Pelaksanaan pendidikan di kelas unggul tingkat SLTP ini sebagian besar baru dalam rangka pengelompokan, dan belum melakukan perlakuan sesuai kebutuhan anak berbakat, sehingga prosesnya sama dengan kelas reguler.
Anak berbakat itu adalah anak yang mempunyai kemampuan luar biasa, merupakan aset nasional yang harus dipersiapkan sedini mungkin untuk meningkatkan sumber daya manusia yang akan berkiprah melaksanakan pembangunan bangsa. Berhubung Pedoman Khusus untuk pelaksanaan pendidikan di kelasl sekolah unggul tingkat SLTP ini belum ada secara tertulis,maka penulis ingin melihat bagaimana hubungan antara latar belakang orangtua dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat di kelas unggul di SLTP N Padang, Padang Panjang dan Bukittinggi, Sumatera Barat.Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk melihat sejauh mana hubungan antara latar belakang keluarga dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat di kelas unggul SLTPN. Padang, Padang Panjang dan Bukittinggi Sumatera Barat. Alasan pemilihan di kota ini adalah karena sistim kekeluargaan yang berlaku didasari oleh garis keturunan ibu (matrilineal), berbeda dengan sistem patrilinear di daerah lain di Indonesia dan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari masih banyak dipengaruhi oleh adat istiadat.
Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 50 orang siswa dan orangtua anak berbakat pada tujuh SLTP N di kota Madya Padang, Bukittinggi dan Padang Panjang Sumatera Barat. Alat untuk mengidentiflkasikan siswa berbakat dengan memberikan tes TIKI-M Bentuk Pendek untuk mengukur intelegensi,TKV P 1 untuk mengukur kreativitas dan Task Commitment untuk mengukur keterlibatan diri terhadap tugas Kepada 338 orang siswa kelas 2 di delapan SLTP N.Penentuan siswa berbakat berpedoman pada konsep Renzulli, yaitu intelegensi di atas rata-rata, kreativitas dan task commitment tinggi. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan kuesioner tentang status sosial ekonomi , peranan dan sikap orangtua siswa berbakat dan daftar isian. Kesemua kuesioner ini diuji cobakan pada orangtua siswa berbakat di SLTP Lab School IKIP Jakarta dan orangtua siswa berbakat di SLTP Al-lzhar Pondok Labu Jakarta Selatan, serta telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Kuesioner dan daftar isian ini diberikan pada orangtua siswa berbakat melalui anak-anak mereka. Data tentang NEM ketika tamat SD dan prestasi siswa berbakat ketika kelas 1 SLTP diminta kepada Kepala Sekolah.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat; 1) gambaran siswa berbakat sesuai dengan karakteristik keluarga anak berbakat; 2) gambaran orangtua siswa berbakat sesuai dengan karakteristik keluarga anak berbakat; 3) hubungan antara pendidikan ayah dengan prestasi anak berbakat; 4) hubungan antara pendidikan ibu dengan prestasi anak berbakat; 5) hubungan antara tingkat status ekonomi orangtua dengan prestasi siswa berbakat; 6) hubungan antara peranan orangtua dengan prestasi siswa berbakat; 7) hubungan antara sikap orangtua dengan prestasi siswa berbakat; 8) Hubungan antara pendidikan ayah,pendidikan ibu, tingkat status ekonomi, peranan dan sikap orangtua dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat; 9) sumbangan dari pendidikan ayah, pendidikan ibu, status ekonomi, peranan dan sikap orangtua pada prestasi anak berbakat Ada tujuh hipotesis yang dikemukakan pada pe-nelitian ini yaitu: 1) Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pendidikan ayah dengan prestasi belajar AB; 2) Terdapat hubungan yang bemuakna antara pendidikan ibu dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat; 3) Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat status ekonomi orangtua dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat, 4) Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara peranan orangtua dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat; 5) Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara sikap orangtua dengan prestasi belajar anak, berbakat; 6) Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna secara bersama antara pendidikan ayah, pendidikan ibu, status ekonomi, peranan dan sikap orangtua dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat; 7) Terdapat sumbangan yang bermakna secara bersama-sama maupun secara masing-masing dari pendidikan ayah, pendidikan ibu, status ekonomi, peranan dan sikap orangtua dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat. Untuk membuktikan hipotesis ini, data diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 7.5. Pembuktian hipotesis satu sampai lima digunakan korelasi Multiple Regression, menguji hipotesis keenam, digunakan korelasi Partial dan pengujian hipotesis ketujuh digunakan Multiple Regression.
Secara keseluruhan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pendidikan ayah dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat dengan dengan r = .350, 2) Terdapat hubungan antara tingkat status ekonomi orangtua dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat dengan r = .329; 3) Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara peranan orangtua dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat dengan r = .309; 4) Tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pendidikan ibu dan sikap orangtua dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat. Bila dilihat hubungan secara Parsial: 1) Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pendidikan ayah dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat, r = .353 dengan p = .013; 2) Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pendidikan ibu dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat, r = .300 dengan p = .036; 3) Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara peranan orangtua dengan prestasi belajar anak berbakat r = .308 dengan p = .031. Tetapi status ekonomi dan sikap orangtua tidak berhubungan secara bermakna.
Dari lima variabel yang dikemukan, ditemukan sumbangan yang bermakna dari pendidikan ayah dan peranan orangtua pada prestasi betajar anak berbakat, sebesar 22,5%. Tetapi pendidikan ibu, tingkat status ekonomi, sikap orangtua tidak memberikan sumbangan yang bermakna pada prestasi belajar anak berbakat. Bita dilihat hasil analisis regresi setiap variabet, ditemukan bahwa pendidikan ayah memberikan sumbangan yang bermakna 12,2%, tingkat status ekonomi orangtua1O,8% dan peranan orangtua 9,5% pada prestasi belajar anak berbakat. Tetapi pendidikan ibu dan sikap orangtua tidak memberikan sumbangan yang bermakna pada prestasi belajar anak berbakat.
Saran yang diajukan adalah 1) Penempatan anak-anak di kelas unggul, perlu dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes TIKI M Bentuk Pendek, TKV Paralel 1, Task Commitment, dan NEM, agar diperoleh siswa yang betul-betul unggul dan berbakat sehingga kemampuannya dapat dikembangkan secara khusus dan optimal; 2) Pemerintah sudah saatnya membuat sekolah unggul tingkat SLTP di tiga kota madya ini, karena diperkirakan minimal ada 20 orang anak berbakat di kelas unggul SLTP N pada setiap kota madya karena NEM siswa tidak menjamin bahwa mereka berbakat dan unggul; 3) Perlu dibuat Kurikulum SLTP beserta petunjuk Teknis Pengelolaan Kelas/Sekotah Unggul, dimana dalam kurikulum ini,ditambahkan kerjasama antara sekolah dengan orangtua anak berbakat dan masyarakat; 4) Perlu pembinaan orangtua anak berbakat melalui pelatihan untuk orangtua anak berbakat agar dapat membantu anak dalam mengembangkan bakatnya di rumah. Hal ini karena peranan orangtua cukup banyak memberikan sumbangan pada prestasi belajar anak berbakat; 5) Perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjutan dilihat dari aspek pengasuhan orangtua pada anak berbakat, konsep diri, motivasi dan emosi anak berbakat dihubungkan dengan prestasi belajarnya di kelas/sekolah unggul untuk semua tingkat sekolah.

Indonesia as a developing country, at the dawn of globalization in the 21st century finds various competitions in economy, law, science and technology as well as in education. lt also needs potential and competency human resources to develop its nation. They will be the future leaders. They are gifted students who are now in the process of leaming and are grouped in 'smart classes" which is particularly found in West Sumatera. These classes are still at a grouping stage, and are not yet given special treatment.
Gifted children are the ones who have extraordinary abilities and who are considered as a national asset. They should be prepared as early as possible to improve human resources in the developing of the country. Due to the lack of written guidelines to can'y out the education of these smart children, the author tries to see the correlation between the family background and the leaming achievement of gifted students in smart classes in Padang, Padang Panjang and Bukittinggi. The reasons in choosing these cities are based on the matrilineal system, which is different from patrilineal systems and traditions in other places in Indonesian.
The study was conducted at seven SLTPS N in Padang, Padang Panjang and Bukittinggi with a sample of 50 gifted children besides their parents. The instruments used in this study to identify gifted children, were TIKI-M Short Form to measure intelligence, TKV P 1 to measure creativity, and Task Commitment to measure self involvement to task. The tests were given to 338 students of grade two in eight SLTPNs.
RenzulIi's concepts were used to determine the above average intelligence, creativity and high task commitment. Questionnaires were also used for social economic status, roles and attitude of gifted' children's parents. These questionnaires had been tried out to the gifted children parents at SLTP Lab School of UNJ and Al-Azhar Pondok Labu to test the validity and reliability of instruments. These questionnaires were given to 50 parents of gifted children. NEM and Report were given and were asked when they were in grade 1 by principal of the school. The objectives of the research were to see: 1) the description of the gifted children in accordance with their family characteristics; 2) the description of the gifted children's parents in accordance with the gifted children?s family characteristics; 3) the correlation between father's education and gifted children leaming achievement; 4) the correlation between mothers education and gifted children leaming achievement; 5) the relationship between economic status of parents and leaming achievement; 6) the relationship between the roles of the parents and leaming achievement; 7) parents' attitude and leaming achievement; 8) the correlation between father's education, mothers education, economic status, parents' roles and attitude simultaneously and gifted children leaming achievement; 9) father's and mothers education contribution, economic status, parents roles and attitude toward the leaming achievement.
The hypotheses in this study are: 1) there is a significant correlation between father's education and leaming achievement: 2) there is a meaningful relationship between mothers education and leaming achievement; 3) there is a meaningful correlation between the parents economic status and leaming achievement; 4) there is a meaningful correlation between the roles of the parents and leaming achievement; 5) there is a meaningful correlation between the parents' attitude and leaming achievement; 6) there is a meaningful relationship between fathers? and mothers? education, economic status, the rules and attitude of parents simultaneously and leaming achievement; 7) there is a meaningful contribution of fathers' education, mothers' education, economic status. the rules and attitude of parents to learning achievement To prove this hypothesis the computer SPSS version 7.5 was used. Multiple Regression was used to prove hypothesis 1-5, Partial Correlation was used to test hypothesis 6 and Multiple Regression was used to test hypothesis 7.
The results of the research reveal that: 1) there is a meaningful correlation between the education of the father and leaming achievement with r = .350; 2) there is a meaningful relationship between the parents' economic status and learning achievement with r = .329; 3). There is a meaningful relationship between the parents roles and learning achievement with r = .309; 4). But there is no meaningful correlation between mothers? education, attitude of parents and leaming acchlevement. Viewed from Partial simultan Correlation; 1) there is a significant correlation between the fathers' education and leaming achievement of gifted children with r = .353 an p = .013; 2) there is a meaningful relationship between mothers education and leaming achievement with r = .300 and p = .036; 3) there is a meaningful relationship between the role of the parents and leaming achievement with r = . 308 and p = .O3?l. But there is no significant relationship between the economic status and attitude of parents and leaming achievement.
It is found that, there is a meaningful contribution of the parents? role and contribution of the fathers' education 22,5%, yet mothers' education, economic status, and attitude of parents do not give meaningful contributions to the leaming achievement of gifted children in smart class. lf each variable is analised it is found there is a meaningful contribution of father education 12,2%, the economic status 10,8 % and role of parent 9.5 %. But mothers? education, attitude of parents do not give meaningful contribution to leaming achievement of gifted children in smart classes. Some suggestions are as follows: 1) It is necessary to use TlKl-M Short Form Test, TKV-P1, Task Commitment and NEM to place the children in a "smart class", so that we will get the real smart and gifted children whose abilities can be particularly and optimally developed; 2) lt is time for the govemment to establish -?i smart- classes 'finthe cities mentioned above; 3) lt is necessary to create a curriculum and guidance for this kind of class to manage technically and cooperatively with the school principals,parents and society; 4) It is also necessary to guide the parents to help their children at home in developing their talents; 5) lt would be better to have a further study on this matter viewed from other aspects to improve the potential human resources.

"Students' knowledge on system for open and distance learning (ODL) is important since the information will be usefull in improving students' services. This article discusses students' understanding on ODL system and factors that affect it. The sample were 380 students from UPBJJ-UT Banda Aceh. Data collection was carried out from May to October 2011. Correlation test of Rank Spearman was used to analyze the data. The result showed that (1) students' knowledge on distance learning system was low (2) factors which influences students knowledge on ODL system were ability in using internet, study group and information access."

"Pembelajaran yang efektif perlu dibentuk selama perubahan sistem menjadi jarak jauh karena hal tersebut dapat memengaruhi tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan profesi ners. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi hubungan efektivitas pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa keperawatan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan profesi ners. Desain yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif korelasional, dengan sampel 100 Mahasiswa Keperawatan Universitas Indonesia. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu efektivitas pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi COVID-19 dan Zung Self-rating Anxiety Scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara efektivitas pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa keperawatan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan profesi ners (p = 0,002; α = 0,05). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar mahasiswa dapat meningkatkan kesiapan dan kepercayaan diri dalam menghadapi lingkungan baru di jenjang pendidikan profesi dengan mengembangkan program yang dapat menurunkan angka kecemasan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan profesi. Penelitian lebih lanjut yang menghubungkan minat dan motivasi untuk melanjutkan pendidikan profesi disarankan.

Effective learning needs to be established during the system change to distance because it can affect the anxiety level of students to continue their professional nursing education. This study aims to identify the relationship between the effectiveness of distance learning and the level of anxiety of nursing students to continue nursing professional education. The design used is descriptive correlational, with a sample of 100 Nursing Students, University of Indonesia. The instruments used are the effectiveness of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Zung Self-rating Anxiety Scale. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the effectiveness of distance learning and the anxiety level of nursing students to continue nursing professional education (p = 0.002; = 0.05). This study recommends that students can increase readiness and confidence in facing a new environment at the level of professional education by developing programs that can reduce anxiety levels to continue professional education. Further research linking interest and motivation to continue professional education is suggested."

"Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) membuat mahasiswa yang berada di tahun pertama mengalami banyak tantangan tambahan selama masa transisi ke dunia perkuliahan. Dalam keadaan ini, kemampuan mahasiswa baru untuk dapat berpikir rasional, meregulasi emosinya, dan juga menjaga hubungan yang sehat dengan orang lain sangatlah penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran diferensiasi diri dalam memprediksi penyesuaian diri di perguruan tinggi pada mahasiswa baru selama PJJ. Dalam penelitian yang merupakan penelitian kuantitatif ini, pengambilan data dilakukan secara daring dengan menggunakan dua alat ukur, yaitu Differentiation of Self Inventory-Short Form (DSI-SF) untuk mengukur diferensiasi diri dan College Adjustment Questionnaire (CAQ) untuk mengukur penyesuaian diri di perguruan tinggi. Melalui teknik convenience sampling, didapatkan 132 partisipan. Mereka merupakan mahasiswa baru yang masuk kuliah di tahun 2021 dan melaksanakan PJJ. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi, ditemukan bahwa diferensiasi diri secara signifikan dapat memprediksi penyesuaian diri mahasiswa baru di perguruan tinggi selama PJJ (R2= 0,225, adjusted  R2= 0,219, p < 0,05). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa individu dengan diferensiasi diri yang baik akan memiliki kemampuan untuk menyesuaikan diri lebih baik di perguruan tinggi. Selain itu, analisis tambahan yang dilakukan peneliti juga menemukan bahwa dimensi I-position merupakan dimensi dari diferensiasi diri yang memberikan kontribusi paling besar dalam memprediksi penyesuaian diri di perguruan tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penting bagi mahasiswa baru untuk mengembangkan diferensiasi diri mereka agar dapat menyesuaikan diri lebih baik di perguruan tinggi.

Distance Learning exposes first year students to many additional challenges during their transition to college life. In this situation, their ability to be able to think rationally, regulate their emotions, and also maintain healthy relationships with other people is very important. This study aims to examine the role of differentiation of self in predicting college adjustment in first year students during distance learning. In this quantitative research, the data collection is done online using two measuring tools, namely the Differentiation of Self Inventory – Short Form (DSI-SF) to measure differentiation of self and the College Adjustment Questionnaire (CAQ) to measure college adjustment. Through convenience sampling technique, obtained 132 participants. They are new students who enter college in 2021 and carry out distance learning. Based on the results of the regression analysis, it was found that differentiation of self could significantly predict college adjustment during distance learning (R2 = 0.225, adjusted R2 = 0.219, p < 0.05). These results indicate that individuals with good differentiation of self will have a better ability to adapt better in college. In addition, additional analysis conducted by researchers also found that the I-position dimension from differentiation of self contributes the most in predicting college adjustment. These findings indicate that it is important for freshmen to develop their differentiation of self in order to better adjust to college."
