"This birefs examines mortality among young children in the period from the seventeenth to the nineteenth century. It does so using several types and sources of information from the census unit England and Wales, and from Ireland. The sources of information used in this study include memoirs, diaries, poems, church records and numerical accounts. They offer descriptions of the quality of life and child mortality over the three centuries under study. Additional sources for the nineteenth century are two census-derived numerical indexes of the quality of life. They are the VICQUAL index for England and Wales, and the QUALEIRE index for Ireland. Statistical procedures have been applied to the numbers provided by the sources with the aim to identify effects of and associations between such variables as gender, age, and social background. The briefs examines the results to consider the impact of children?s deaths upon parents and families, and concludes that there are differences and continuities across the centuries."

"Kehidupan seksual merupakan bagian dari diri setiap individu yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup. Kehidupan seksual dapat dikaji melalui kualitas kehidupan seksual dan kompulsivitas seksual. Penelitian terkait masalah seksual banyak dilakukan pada individu dengan masalah kesehatan, namun individu sehat seperti mahasiswa juga memiliki kehidupan seksual yang layak untuk terpenuhi demi menggapai kualitas hidup yang baik. Penelitian kuantitatif dilakukan pada 301 mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia dari 17 fakultas/ sekolah/program studi dengan pendekatan potong lintang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan median kualitas kehidupan seksual mahasiswa 70,91. Mayoritas mahasiswa 98,3 memiliki kompulsivitas seksual rendah. Kualitas hidup dan kualitas kesehatan mahasiswa secara umum biasa-biasa saja hingga memuaskan/baik. Kehidupan seksual memengaruhi beberapa domain kualitas hidup mahasiswa. Hal ini ditengarai juga karena banyak faktor termasuk kesibukan mahasiswa menjalani sistem pendidikan, dan norma di Indonesia yang masih tabu untuk membahas seksualitas.

Sexual life is a part of every individual that can affect the quality of life. Sexual life can be studied through the sexual quality of life and sexual compulsivity. Research related sexual problem is mostly done on individuals with health problems, but healthy individuals like students also have a decent sexual life to fulfill in order to achieve a good quality of life. A quantitative research was conducted on 301 University of Indonesia students from 17 faculties schools study programs with a cross sectional approach.

The results showed the median quality of student sexual life 70.91. Most of the students 98.3 had lower sexual compulsivity scale. The quality of life and health quality of students, in general, is moderate to satisfied good. Sexual life affects several domains of student quality of life. This is also suspected because many factors including the students rsquo activities undergoing education system, and norms in Indonesia are still taboo to discuss sexuality."
