"Pembangunan berkelanjutan di industri minyak dan gas bumi dianggap sebagai salah satu masalah yang mendesak dalam mencapai kinerja bisnis yang berkelanjutan. Studi empiris telah dilakukan untuk menentukan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perusahaan untuk merespons hal ini secara strategis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) untuk menganalisis data 82 responden dari industri hulu migas di Indonesia. Ditemukan bahwa modal berbasis pengetahuan (knowledge-based capital) adalah faktor penentu perusahaan untuk mencapai kinerja bisnis yang berkelanjutan. Modal berbasis pengetahuan terdiri dari modal manusia, modal sosial, dan sistem organisasi.
Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa modal berbasis pengetahuan menengahi tekanan pembangunan berkelanjutan dan pola pikir kewirausahaan, untuk membuat perusahaan melakukan aksi stratejik dalam mencapai kinerja bisnis yang berkelanjutan. Temuan ini sebagian memberikan konfirmasi dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya, dengan beberapa perbedaan mendasar. Pendekatan terpadu antara resource-based view dan institutional perspective dapat secara lebih komprehensif menjelaskan keberlanjutan indsutri hulu minyak dan gas bumi.

Sustainable development in the oil and gas industry is arguably one of the most pressing concerns in achieving sustainable business performance. An empirical study has been undertaken to determine what factors affect firms in order to respond to this strategically. This study used the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) methodology to analyze 82 respondents from Indonesia's upstream oil and gas industry. It found that knowledge-based capital is the firm's determining factor to achieve sustainable business performance. Knowledge-based capital consists of human capital, social capital, and organizational systems.
It is proven that knowledge-based capital mediates sustainable development pressures and entrepreneurial mindsets, to develop sustainable strategic action in achieving sustainable business performance. This finding is partially confirmed by prior studies, with some notable contradictions. An integrated approach that utilizes a resource-based view and an institutional perspective can more comprehensively explain upstream oil and gas sustainability.

"ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas tentang pengaruh dari gaya kepemimpinan terhadap perubahan organisasi. Dengan analisis secara micro-foundation yang dapat memilah dan menampilkan heterogenitas dari teori dynamic capability. Pada penelitian ini juga menganalisis efek moderasi dari knowledge-based capital pada hubungan gaya kepemimpinan dengan kapabilitas dinamik individu untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang perilaku pemimpin ketika membuat perubahan.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara gaya kepemimpinan yang dimediasi oleh kapabilitas dinamik individu terhadap perubahan organisasi. Hasil penelitian ini juga menegaskan penelitian sebelumnya tentang kapabilitas dinamis individu yang mampu memainkan peran penting dalam menanggapi perubahan dalam lingkungan ketidakpastian.

ABSTRACT
This thesis discusses the influence of leadership style on organizational change. With micro foundation analysis that can parse the heterogeneity of dynamic capability theory. This study also analyzes the moderation effects of knowledge based capital on leadership style relationships with individual dynamic capabilities to gain a better understanding of leader behavior when making changes.The results of this study indicate that there is a positive relationship between leadership styles mediated by the dynamic capabilities of individuals towards organizational change. The results of this study also confirm previous research on the dynamic capabilities of individuals who are able to play an important role in responding to changes in the environment of uncertainty"

"Tulisan ini akan membahas mengenai hibridasi nilai liberal dan nilai komunitarian
dalam penerapan konsep Knowledge Economy Bank Dunia melalui proyek
reformasi pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia. Globalisasi mendukung terciptanya
pemahaman akan kian pentingnya pengetahuan untuk mendukung perekonomian
suatu negara. Melalui konsep Knowledge-Based Economy (KBE), institusi
internasional seperti Bank Dunia menangkap peluang berinvestasi dalam sektor
yang penting dalam produksi ilmu pengetahuan, yakni pendidikan tinggi. Bank
Dunia merancang strategi reformasi pendidikan tinggi untuk kemudian diterapkan
di sejumlah negara berkembang seperti Argentina, Guinea, Romania, Chile,
Tunisia, Vietnam, Yordania, Mozambique, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, dan Indonesia.
Meski dikatakan sebagai bentuk new economy yang menjanjikan terbukanya
peluang bagi negara-negara miskin dan berkembang untuk mencapai kemajuan
melalui produksi pengetahuan, KBE tak ubahnya sebagai bentuk baru kapitalisme
ekonomi di abad 21. Strategi reformasi pendidikan tinggi merupakan bentuk
neoliberalisme ekonomi yang mendorong pemerintah untuk melakukan
desentralisasi, privatisasi, dan komersialisasi sektor pendidikan tinggi di negaranya.
Melalui liberalisasi pendidikan tinggi, status pendidikan tinggi sebagai barang
publik berubah menjadi barang ekonomi. Meski di negara yang landasannya
bertentangan dengan nilai liberal, seperti Indonesia, penerapan konsep Knowledge
Economy Bank Dunia tetap menyebabkan terjadinya liberalisasi pendidikan tinggi
dalam batas toleransi tertentu melalui kebijakan yang merupakan hasil kompromi
atas tarikan kepentingan global yang membawa nilai liberal dan kepentingan lokal
yang menganut nilai komunitarian

This paper will discuss about the hybridization of liberal and communitarian value
in the implementation of World Banks Knowledge-Economy concept through
higher education reform projects in Indonesia. Globalization supports the
understanding of the importance of knowledge for the economic growth. By
Knowledge-Based Economy (KBE) concept, the international institutions like the
World Bank catches investment chances in an important sector to produce
knowledge, known as higher education. The World Bank in advance composes
higher education reforms project in several developing countries like Argentina,
Guinea, Romania, Chile, Tunisia, Vietnam, Jordan, Mozambique, Sri Lanka,
Ethiopia, and Indonesia. Although it is said as a New Economy which is promised
to open more chances for poor and developing countries to achieve development by
producing knowledge, KBE even appears as a new face of capitalism in 21st
century. Higher Education Reform Strategy is a form of neoliberalism economics
which makes the government pursue decentralization, privatization and higher
education commercialization in its country. Higher education liberalization makes
the change of the status of higher education from public to economic goods.
Although there are countries that principally not a liberal country, like Indonesia,
World Bank Knowledge Economy concept implementation still succeed to
liberalize higher education sector in that country within certain tolerance limits
through policies that are the result of compromises on the push-pull of the global
interest (that bring liberal values) and local interest (that adhere to communitarian
values)."

"Penentuan model KMS yang sesuai di Sekretariat Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga dibutuhkan karena banyak data dan informasi yang tersimpan masih dalam bentuk tacit knowledge pada pegawai tidak tetap. Selain itu, banyak sumber pengetahuan yang ada belum diubah menjadi pengetahuan, menyulitkan pegawai dalam mencari informasi dalam waktu yang singkat yang dibutuhkan untuk mendukung kinerja, turn over pegawai kementerian yang cukup tinggi, menuntut proses pembelajaran yang lebih cepat agar pencapaian tujuan organisasi tidak terhambat. Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimana model KMS yang sesuai di Sekretariat Kemenpora. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metodologi yang dikembangkan oleh Fernandez. Hasil penelitian ini adalah prioritas utama pengembangan proses-proses knowledge management system di sekretariat Kemenpora adalah knowledge discovery, internalisasi dan eksternalisasi. Prioritas proses KM ini nantinya didukung oleh proses KM yang lain yaitu, sosialisasi untuk knowledge sharing, routines, exchange, kombinasi dan direction. Fitur yang mendukung proses KM tersebut adalah pengelolaan dokumen, knowledge management, forum diskusi, chatting, pencarian pengetahuan dan pencarian dokumen.

Determination an appropriate model of KMS in the Ministry of Youth and Sport Secretariat needed because lot of data and information is still stored in the form of tacit knowledge in the non-permanent employees. In addition, many sources of knowledge that have not yet transformed into knowledge, difficult employee in finding information in a short time is needed to support the performance, employee turnover is quite high ministry, demanding a faster learning process that is not hindered achievement of organizational goals. The problem in this research is how to model the appropriate KMS Kemenpora Secretariat. The methodology used in this research is a Fernandez methodology. Results of this research a top priority the development of the processes of knowledge management system in the secretariat Kemenpora is knowledge discovery, internalization and eksternalization. Priority KM process later supported by other KM processes, knowledge sharing, routines, exchange, combination and direction. Features that support the KM process is a document management, knowledge management, discussion forums, chat, document search and knowledge search."

"Analyzing Knowledge Creation and Knowledge Management in Bio Farma, LtdKnowledge is very significant for a success of company. Through the creation of knowledge in either internal process or external process of the company will create value, which raise the grade of company out of basis of assets. Knowledge superiority as intangible has been proved in many cases of prominent company in the world recently.
The success of prominent company is enabled and master in organizing knowledge creation continuously. Creating knowledge of company means the ability of it as a whole. To create a new knowledge, spreading it in the company, and appearing in production, service and system.
It, however, has to be admitted that knowledge creation is not easy in practice. Basically it needs process management which is continuously and dynamically, commonly known as knowledge management. Through implementation in many factors backing up knowledge creation in individual level, community and organization wholly, will create synergic relation between knowledge modal as a foundation and innovation as the result.
Because of the important of knowledge, it has pushed the writer to research how knowledge creation practice, especially in a company characterized by knowledge intensive, the process and the decline of which will be very determined by how good knowledge developed in a company. Moreover, a strong control from the customer to the quality of Biofarma, Ltd. products make the company always to control the quality of product.
The strong control is caused that the product of Biofarma, Ltd. is a company that produces serum and vaccine, production that has big risk to the customers. The success of Biofarma in producing knowledge not only will determine the existence of the company but also will save human s from danger diseases.
This research finds how knowledge management and the activity of knowledge creation well done in the company. Knowledge management, according to Nonaka (2000) is enabling condition or requirement that is provided by knowledge creation. According to .Tarn Hidayat Tjakraatmaja (2002), knowledge management is identically to create learning environment. For the company wanting to increase the quality of knowledge creation, creating learning environment is a must.
This research uses knowledge management approach by Nonaka at. Al (2000) who asks requirement; instill knowledge vision manage a conversation mobilize knowledge activist, crate the right connect, and globalize local knowledge. Whereas for the activity of knowledge creation, this work uses model developed by Tuomi (1999) who divides knowledge into five groups of activities; articulation, accumulation, anticipation, apprehension, and action.
This research finds how knowledge management in Biofarma, Ltd., generally, has been running well. Based on, however, the basis of activity that is researched, the intensity of attention is not equal to the domination or the important of activities in knowledge management.
In knowledge creation, however, is found the weak in the basis that the activity of knowledge creation created more in this internal activity or daily activities. According to the result of the research that external activities must be more dominant in knowledge creation then that of internal.
Research can prove that knowledge creation is very involving with how knowledge managed. Like land for the potential of growing plant, knowledge management is life concession for knowledge creation.
Knowing how knowledge management and knowledge creation in the company will be able to identify the weakness that is still there. And knowing what activities or aspect which is very dominant relating to them will be known in which side knowledge management and knowledge creation must be strengthened. Like in Biofarma, Ltd. the activity that must be strengthened is external activities. Knowledge creation should be many More in community of interaction which pass through the restrictions of into and inter organization.
