"ABSTRACT
Penelitian ini meneliti pengaruh dari karakteristik individual (need for uniqueness dan attitudes toward swedish product) dan variabel brand-specific (perceived quality dan emotional value) terhadap minat beli antara merek luar negeri (H&M) dengan merek dalam negeri (Cotton Ink). Ada 212 konsumen perempuan yang berpartisipasi dalam survey penelitian ini. Dengan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa need for uniqueness dari konsumen perempuan Indonesia tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap attitudes toward swedish products baik untuk merek H&M maupun Cotton Ink. Attitudes toward swedish products berpengaruh positif terhadap perceived quality dan emotional value untuk merek H&M sedangkan, pada merek Cotton Ink, attitudes toward swedish products berpengaruh negatif terhadap perceived quality dan emotional value. Selain itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan perceived quality dan emotional value berpengaruh positif baik untuk merek H&M dan merek Cotton Ink.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to study the impacts of individual characteristic (need for uniqueness and attitudes toward swedish product) and brand-specific variables (perceived quality and emotional value) on purchase intention between swedish and domestic brand. There are 212 Indonesian women consumers that participated in this survey. By using Structural Equation Modelling, this research shows that need for uniqueness of respondents is not positively related to attitudes toward swedish products both for H&M and Cotton Ink. Moreover, attitudes toward swedish products is positively related to perceived quality and emotional value for H&M, but for Cotton Ink, attitudes toward swedish products is negatively related to perceived quality and emotional value. Besides that, perceived quality and emotional value are positively related to purchase intention both for H&M and Cotton Ink. "

"Tesis ini menganalisis pengaruh tingkat kreativitas iklan, need for uniqueness dan need for cognition, terhadap sikap terhadap iklan (attitude toward the ad), sikap terhadap merek (attitude toward the brand), serta minat membeli (purchase intention) konsumen. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dan merupakan riset konklusif yang bersifat kausal dimana bertujuan untuk menguji hipotesis dan khususnya untuk memeriksa hubungan antara variabel - variabel dependen dan independen yang diuji.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dan hubungan yang positif antara kreativitas iklan dan need for uniqueness terhadap sikap dan minat membeli konsumen. Disisi lain penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh dan hubungan yang signifikan antara kreativitas iklan dan need for cognition terhadap sikap dan minat membeli konsumen. Sehingga dalam kaitannya dengan tingkat kreativitas iklan dapat dikatakan bahwa faktor need for uniqueness lebih mempengaruhi sikap dan minat membeli konsumen dibandingkan dengan faktor need for cognition.

This paper analyze the effect level of advertisement creativity, need for uniqueness and need for cognition, towards attitude toward the ad, attitude toward the brand andpurchase intention. This study used quantitative methods and was a conclusive research with causal type, which its objective was to test the hypothesis and specially to verify the relationship between its independent and dependent variables.
This study showed that there is positive effect and relationship between the levels of advertisement creativity and need for uniqueness towards consumerspurchase intention and attitudes. On the other hand, this study also showed that there is no effect and significant relationship between advertisement creativity and need for cognition towards consumerspurchase intention and attitudes. So in relation with the level of advertisement creativity, the need for uniqueness factor gives more effect on consumer?s purchase intention and attitudes than the need for cognition factor.

"Penelitian ini didasari oleh fenomena penerapan sistem customization pada dunia bisnis online. Sistem tersebut dianggap dapat menjadi kunci kesuksesan sebuah perusahaan dalam menarik minta konsumennya. Peneliti ingin mengetahui latar belakang dan motivasi konsumen dalam membeli produk customized secara online. Ternyata, dikemukakan oleh penelitian Tian dkk. (2001) bahwa terdapat kebutuhan akan keunikan pada setiap diri konsumen, atau disebut dengan consumers' need for uniqueness. Peneliti ingin mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara consumers? need for uniqueness dan intensi membeli konsumen pada produk yang bersifat customized secara online. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 529 partisipan yang seluruhnya sudah pernah berbelanja online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara consumers' need for uniqueness dan intensi membeli pada produk customized secara online.

This study is based on the phenomena of applying customization in the business world. The system is believed to be the key of a successful way for a company to sell their products to the consumers. Researcher wants to figure out the motivation behind consumer decisions to buy an online customized product. Apparently, a research from Tian et al. (2001) shows that there are needs for each consumes to be unique, or later to be called as consumers need for uniqueness. The purpose of this study is to find out if there is a significant correlation between consumers’ need for uniqueness and purchase intention in an online customized products. This study conducted to 529 participants which all of them have the experienced of online shopping. Result of the study shows that there is a significant correlation between consumers need for uniqueness and purchase intention in online customized product.

"Penelitian sebelumnya terkait efek Country of Origin (COO) terhadap niat beli konsumen telah banyak diselidiki oleh sejumlah peneliti namun, hanya sedikit penelitian yang menguji dengan menggunakan metode eksperimental. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh negara asal, kebutuhan akan keunikan, sikap terhadap iklan, dan sikap merek terhadap niat membeli dalam produk kosmetik. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis kausal, 2 (karakteristik individu: keunikan tinggi vs keunikan rendah) x 4 (negara: Indonesia, Amerika Serikat, Korea Selatan, dan Perancis), eksperimen between-subject. Total sampel berjumlah 200 responden, usia 25 - 40 tahun.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh COO tidak signifikan terhadap sikap dan niat membeli kosmetik, namun COO memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap sikap merek, sikap terhadap iklan, dan niat beli konsumen dengan NFU rendah. Konsumen dengan NFU rendah cenderung memilih lipstik buatan Indonesia daripada buatan Prancis, AS dan Korea Selatan. Perbedaan tingkat NFU terbukti memoderasi efek COO terhadap sikap merek, sikap terhadap iklan, dan niat membeli.

Country of origin has been investigated by number of scholars however, there is a dearth of research using experimental methods. This research aims to examine the influence of country of origin, need for uniqueness, attitude toward the ad, and brand attitude on purchase intention in cosmetics product. The method used in this research is quantitative with causal type, 2 (individual characteristic: high uniqueness vs low uniqueness) x 4 (countries: Indonesia, USA, South Korea, and France) between-subjects experiment. The sample size was 200 respondents, age 25 - 40 years.
The result suggest that the influence of COO was not significant on attitudes and intentions to purchase cosmetics. However, COO has a significant effect on brand attitudes, attitudes toward advertising, and consumer purchase intention with low NFU. Consumers with low NFU tend to choose lipstick made in Indonesia rather than made in French, USA and South Korea. The difference in NFU levels moderates the COO effect on brand attitudes, attitudes toward advertising, and purchase intention.

"[Penelitian ini menelaah fenomena personal branding pada media sosial yang saat ini marak terjadi. Beberapa orang dari kalangan bukan selebritas mampu membangun brand yang kuat pada dirinya sehingga seseorang tersebut menjadi selebritas media sosial. Pada konsep personal branding sendiri apa yang dilakukan pada diri seseorang ditujukan untuk membangun kredibilitas yang baik, sehingga menjadi daya tarik bagi orang lain. Dengan tingginya kredibilitas seseorang, akan berdampak pada kemampuannya menjadi komunikator yang baik
pada sebuah iklan, sehingga akan mempengaruhi brand awareness produk yang diiklankan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi, yang menggunakan sosok Andra Alodita sebagai kasus penelitian dan followers Andra Alodita sebagai responden penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan 100 orang responden dengan metode pemilihan purposive sampel. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif antara personal branding Andra Alodita dengan pembentukan kredibilitas Andra Alodita sebagai seorang endorser. Selain itu juga ditemukan bahwa kredibilitas Andra Alodita sebagai endorser mampu membangun Brand Awareness pada produk Cotton Ink di benak followers akun instagram Andra Alodita.;This research aims to analyze personal branding phenomenon through social

This research using quantitative approachregression analysis method, choosing Andra Alodita as research subject and her followers as respondents. "Internet dan telepon selular, dalam dua dekade terakhir sangat mempengaruhi kehidupan sosial masyarakat. Industri pakaian adalah salah satu industri yang mempunyai banyak peminat di Indonesia, dan kini mulai tumbuh bisnis pakaian online. Berbagai merek-merek lokal dalam fashion industry Indonesia pun bermunculan, mulai dari Nikicio, Cotton Ink, Peter Says Denim, Up, Monday to Sunday, Pop Meets Pop, Tru, DAMN! I Love Indonesia dan masih banyak lagi. Namun ketidakmampuan untuk memeriksa secara fisik produk ketika belanja online meningkatkan persepsi resiko yang terkait dengan belanja online. Karena itu para pengusaha online, khususnya di bidang pakaian, sangat peduli terhadap bagaimana membangun ekuitas merek yang tinggi agar pelanggan dapat loyal dan melakukan repurchase intention.
Dalam penelitian ini, penulis mengambil studi kasus salah satu online brand lokal yaitu, Cotton Ink. Kemudian penelitian ini melibatkan 269 responden yang pernah berbelanja produk Cotton Ink di website www.cottonink-shop.com. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dan berjenis eksploratori dan kausal-eksplanatori. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode non-probability sampling dan judgemental sampling. Model penelitian dengan empat belas hipotesis dalam penelitian akan diuji dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan dan positif antara ekuitas merek (brand equity) dengan niat pembelian kembali (repurchase intention).

Internet and mobile phones, in the last two decades greatly affect the social life of the community. Clothing industry is one industry that has many enthusiasts in Indonesia, and has now started growing, online clothing business. Various local brands in the fashion industry Indonesia also appear, from Nikicio, Cotton Ink, Peter Says Denim, Up, Monday to Sunday, Pop Meets Pop, Tru, DAMN! I Love Indonesia and many more. However, the inability to physically examine the products when shopping online increases the perception of risk associated with online shopping. Therefore online entrepreneurs, especially in the areas of clothing, very concerned about how to build high brand equity so that customers are loyal and do repurchase intention.
In this study, the authors studied the case of one local brand online named, Cotton Ink. This study included 269 respondents who had shopped at Cotton Ink?s website, www.cottonink-shop.com.This study used quantitative methods, and the type is exploratory and causal-explanatory. Sampling was done by a non-probability sampling and judgmental sampling. A research model with fourteen hypothesis in this study will be tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of this study indicate that there are significant and positive relationship between brand equity (brand equity) with the intention to repurchase (repurchase intention).

"Kembalinya popularitas jual beli pakaian bekas berhubungan dengan minat konsumen terhadap sustainability. Selain tren sustainability, tren vintage didorong kecenderungan konsumen untuk mencari authenticity dan nilai keunikan melalui pakaian bekas membawa perubahan terhadap perilaku pembelian pakaian bekas. Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara environmentalisme, kesederhanaan dan kebutuhan akan keunikan terhadap minat beli pakaian bekas. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan metode simple random sampling dengan kuesioner online. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara environmentalisme dan kebutuhan akan keunikan terhadap minat beli pakaian bekas.

The return of the popularity of used clothing is related to consumer’s growing interest in sustainability. In addition to sustainability trends, the comeback of the vintage trend encouraged by consumers' tendency to seek authenticity and unique value through used clothing brings changes to their consumer behavior. This study discusses the influence between environmentalism, frugality, need for uniqueness and purchase intention of second-hand clothes. This quantitative study uses simple random sampling with an online survey. This study found that there was a significant influence between environmentalism and the need for uniqueness to purchase of used clothing."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu hubungan antara sifat-sifat psikologis konsumen seperti kesadaran terhadap nilai, kerentanan terhadap pengaruh normatif, dan kebutuhan terhadap keunikan; terhadap perilaku terhadap merek, hubungan antara perilaku terhadap merek dan keinginan membeli kembali, dan apakah pengetahuan konsumen mempengaruhi kebutuhan konsumen terhadap keunikan. Hipotesis diuji dengan metode regresi sederhana dan berganda, dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 22.
Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sifat-sifat psikologis dan perilaku terhadap merek, dan perilaku terhadap merek juga mempengaruhi niat pembelian kembali. Sementara pengetahuan konsumen tidak mempengaruhi kebutuhan terhadap keunikan konsumen.

This research focuses on finding out the relationship between consumer rsquo s psychological traits such as value consciousness, susceptibility to normative influence, and need for uniqueness towards brand attitude, the relationship between brand attitude and repurchase intention, and whether consumer knowledge affects the consumer rsquo s need for uniqueness. The hypotheses are tested with the simple and multiple regression method, using the SPSS version 22.
This research found that there is a significant relationship between psychological traits and brand attitude, and brand attitude also influence the repurchase intention. While consumer knowledge does not affect the need for uniqueness for the consumer.
